Alabama self reports 19 NCAA violations last night

Secondary ones. Not all football.
But they sure know how to work a news cycle....
Like Ohio State, Bama reports a bunch of minor violations as "proof" of their "diligence" and uses the code of the weasel when confronted with major violations: admit nothing, deny everything and make countercharges.
Code of the Weasel is also a great title for a spy novel. "They said the Weasel's codes were unbreakable. Jack Harper has 24 hours to save Washington DC from a terrible catastrophe. Can he solve the world's greatest puzzle in time?"
It will be interesting to see what Michigan reports this year.
Agreed, but the timing was fiendishly masterful.
I could see doing this on a Thursday or Friday afternoon during the summer doldrums or something--that is standard practice. But Sunday night over a holiday weekeend? It looks so blatantly focused on burying the info that for all but the most naive follower this only further undermines their integrity.
Nothing like reporting secondary violations to cover up the bigger reasons about why an assistant coach was fired. All teams have secondaries, and nobody really cares - even the NCAA. So this wouldn't be news in a normal situation. But Bama just fired an assistant last month for recruiting violations. You don't fire assistants for secondary violations, you give them a stern 'talking-to'. This is news because something is being covered up.
The better question is whether the NCAA will care enough to look at it's football flagship...
Yeah, I'm sure they're really looking into it diligently
This is waaaay of topic, but some folks seem to think that it was his son, and OJ was actually covering up for his kid.
The young man was off his antipsychotics for Jekyll & Hyde syndrome, OJ had hired the kid a defense attorney 4 days after the murder (even though OJ was the only suspect), OJ had no bruising on his body (though he was worn down and Ron Goldman was a 3rd degree back belt), etc.
Might be hogwash, but it was an interesting thing to read about after thinking OJ was guilty all these years.

that is way off topic. I really enjoyed watching The Fugitive when I was a young teen in the 60s. One of the best shows on T.V., and for some reason I had to miss out on the series finale, But the show ended a long time ago. This is real life. It was very clear early on that OJ Simpson killed his wife and her companion for the evening. He might have had some help. Who knows? The police scewed everything up to the point they had to acquit and that was what his team did so professionally. We'll never have motive unless Golman was more than a friend, but I really think most have concluded, rightfully so, he is the person responsible.
Just know some people are nuts. When it was found that one of Cosby's many complaintants had lied, a young man I know posted on Facebook "I can't believe what all those women put that poor man through," as if they all had lied and Bill was free. People believe what they want and it rums the gamut when celebs are involved. Just hope O.J.'s kid turn out o.k., and from what I read recently, they are both doing pretty good in FL and her brother is doing well in real estate. Sounds good.
crime scene? What about all the blood in OJ's Bronco? Did the police plant it along with the blood at OJ's house? What about the cut on OJ's finger? What about the woman who OJ nearly collided with after the murders who made no mention of anyone other than OJ in his Bronco? (She did not testify because she sold her story to a tabloid).
remember the bruno magli's he lied about owning? in the civil case they produced pictures of him wearing them, lol. only 300 pair sold of "those ugly ass shoes" as why he said they were not his.
They will have to find him after he enters the Saban Witness Protection Program. Note: this might include cement shoes and a lake near Tuscaloosa.
One of the only ways that I can see any program getting looked into by the NCAA is if something catastrophic happens and/or gets to the public i.e. screw penn state
LOL!!
Manslaughter. That's what they got when they killed us. Hoke got accessory.

Nope, I think it's after you turn 63.
Will hit the 64 the day after we beat our arch rivals, the Knights in Piscataway. Although near to Deleware, I am not sure if we will wear our New Jerseys that evening.
63, from my experience is where you take one more step physiology(physiological?). Strange pains begin to hit between the knees and the femoral head and acetabulum, where the upper thigh meets the pelvis. In my case, I think I am low on whatever fluid the body produces to keep this joint operating without pain. If you, or anyone else reading, for that matter know of any proven supplement that has been proven to be effective, would love to hear about it.
Wondering what 64 begins and how smart were the Beatles? When I'm 64..... Must have been listening to the sages of Liverpool.

Just last night, I swear less than 12 hours ago a friend of mine asked me why I no longer drink. I told him that other than the sociopathic drinking we all did prior to getting married, I was pretty much like the rest of society and was a weekend warrior, doing about one day a weekend. After my wife died, it was less than this until my son went through all the stages ; he was 15 when it happened. When he moved to L.A. I was about 45 and returned to the weekend partying, most of the time just to get a partner for the weekend.
One day I woke up and had my normal "After drink headache." Then when it was sill with me, some 4-5 hours later, after coffee, food and a light workout, I knew. I thought to myself, "Oh shit, it's happening. This is that thing called a hangover that so many people talk about. I knew I had to sleep more. I did and the hangover was gone. I drink occasionally, like tonight I will because it's one of my friend's birthdays plus the holiday. I will have a hangover tomorrow. The body changes as you get older and when you're young, I think you are programmed to sleep until you wakeup without the additional baggage. Then the bad shit starts and you begin waking up the same time, regardless of what you did the night before. It's as if it has one thing down, but doesn't adjust to all the changes. It's just something the creator overlooked and if she had to do it over again, I am sure she would make up for this mistake.
Too bad, but the only answer I know is just to stay away from the stuff. Probably no more than 8-12 days a year except for my first week's return to Mexico each year. I must stop in - or so I tell myself - to the local dive to let everyone know I am still around and then when they want to do something they will know I'm in town and give me a ring. People are funny. They're a judgmental lot. They don't mind if I drink with them, but let me just pull out one line or roll up one point guard and they act like I'm breaking the law. Really, in a lot of cases don't want to be with those ass hats with alcohol in my system. Built in excuse. You will fill better though, waking up on the weekends and feeling the same you did on a Thurs morning. I recommend no one give it up completely though unless it's screwing up your life, then I recommend you give it up immediately.
Now I make the first one count... why I switched to fortified and high ABV brews.
started needing an extra hour of sleep when I drank. I just don't always have an extra hour to spare.
26 when the hangovers started to be twice as bad.
...but the satelite camps!
