Nobody was picking Iowa St, Missouri, South Carolina, Georgetown and those other #2's that lost to win the Championship, Sparty was 11-2 to win it, only behind Kansas.

I agree. I would not be that much more thrilled to see this outcome over MSU if you're Syracuse. If they don't prepare like this team is a major threat, then they're not going to win that game. MTSU looked fantastic today. Came ready to play for sure.
Dana Jacobson has to be happy to talk to the MTSU coach, wish she could toss out a Go Blue, stupid professionalism making her stay neutral.

I waited to post this until now: as the final seconds of that State game were ticking away, I was shouting loudly, "DOWN GOES SPARTY!!! DOWN GOES SPARTY!!! DOWN GOES SPARTY!!!, which caused my daughter and granddaughter to check on me with some concern.

That's my favorite part. They never led but kept slapping the damn floor. This one feels extra good. Now if the night can just be capped off with a win tonight.
I just watched the last 5 minutes of the game with a bunch of Spartan coworkers, their reactions were priceless.

I'm not usually in the office due to working at clients, so the majority of them that I don't work with didn't even know I was a Michigan grad. They were all grinding there teeth tallking about how bad they were playing and a few were even blaming the fact that Izzo gave the team a day off as to why they were playing so bad. A few walked out with around a minute left and said they had seen all they needed to see, but a few sat through the final buzzer and said they were just punishing themselves. One also commented when they saw Villanova win by 30 that that's what a 2 seed first game is supposed to look like

Draymond Green seems to be one of the more likable players of recent Spartan basketball history. His tweet doesn't change my impression.
If he's guilty, I hope that Mateen Cleaves spent his afternoon watching hoops to take his mind off of his legal problems. Maybe kicking it back with Branden Dawson.
Better take away plax's gun, he is liable to shoot his other leg....

Michigan is playing with house money at this point. Sparty was supposed to win the national title. Hell, Valentine guaranteed a national championship lol
