“Leaders and best” is in the fight song

03/26/2018 - 9:26pm Wow.

He has only 3 threes and 1 FTM. That’s impressive.

03/23/2018 - 10:03am That's what I thought too

He looked Shell Shocked, though admittedly that's not surprising considering the bombs we were dropping last night

03/08/2018 - 2:28am It's even worse

If you go through their list they have Purdue winning the BTT. That's why we're a five. The fact they haven't fixed that is a joke

Jalen got a healthy 19 of those points

Tide gave them that second 'L' last night

02/03/2018 - 8:26pm Replay

There are replays on FS1 at 10pm and 4am. This is another reason why I'm lukewarm on FOX and I don't get the ESPN hate; if ESPN had this game you could stream it online right now.

11/29/2017 - 4:40pm Tebow and Lebron

Were post-smart phones. Tebow was annoying but the decision was rightly pumped, it was the first time the best player in basketball was going to switch teams since what? Kareem? That was a HUGE sports story. Even if Tebow was overhyped I'd bet dollars to donuts that every time they covered him ratings went up and clicks went through the roof.

09/16/2017 - 3:16pm Look on the bright side...

We could be Nebraska.

09/04/2017 - 1:43pm Magnuson made the 53 man

Magnuson made the 53 man roster as a backup center/guard.  Beat out some vets and moved his way up the depth chart; he's probably the 8th OL on the roster.

09/04/2017 - 4:41am 18:47 Ulizio

He's not supposed to block the end on a boot, the end is supposed to get held by the fake.  The play was well defended by Florida and not Ulizio's fault.

08/31/2017 - 10:37pm Dymonte Thomas can run fast.
08/31/2017 - 9:58pm Shane threw a touchdown pass and a 2pt conversion

and Jehu Chesson just took a kick 76 yards to the house.

but he had to have something to do with or at least picked up by osmosis some of this Indiana WR mojo.  As I write this Simmie Cobbs, the 974th ranked player in his class(247 composite), just Moss'd probable 1st round pick Denzel Ward.  If Ohio State gets a legitmate passing game they might become unbeatable.

08/31/2017 - 8:32pm Watching this game

I just realized that if Wilson is at Ohio State long term he might recruit and develop actual recievers there. Indiana has seemingly an unending supply of underrecruited NFL caliber recievers.

08/30/2017 - 4:31am Joe Bolden must have looked

Joe Bolden must have looked like the second coming of Ray Lewis in practice.

"I don't think our O-Line could be worse than last year"

After watching Michigan Football for the last half decade, how could anyone possibly think this?

08/11/2017 - 12:44am Willie Henry

Willi Henry had a pass defensed and a solo tackle for Baltimore

08/06/2017 - 7:33pm LINK

Mike Dudek has some footage of one-on-ones

08/02/2017 - 10:50am Why he priced his shoes that way

He priced his shoes that way because he had to make sure he'd get his money back.  He had no idea how many pairs of shoes he was going to sell and cost of manufacturing is directly tied to how many units you make (more units = less cost per unit).  He had to set a price where he could make a profit if he sold 2 pairs of shoes or 200,000 pairs of shoes.

is gonna open some eyes this season.  Also I'm calling it now, I think Gary is gonna destroy PSU.

05/31/2017 - 2:06pm I still don't get people who get mad a First Take

Tl;dr ESPN isn't nearly as bad as people say and I think for the most part they do a good job. Quit your bitchin' and get off my lawn

ESPN doesn't show infomercials or soap operas or and First Take gets more ratings than a rerun of a game or another Sportcenter. It's their version of daytime television. You don't get mad at the new storyline on General Hospital or an infomercial about gym equipment or the Slap Chop or yet another rerun of Bones or Law and Order, so why First Take? It's on at 10 AM, most people are at work not watching TV and after the 2 AM Sportcenter ends at about 3, ESPN has to fill the next 14 hours until people get off work and ratings go back up. And that's just the main channel, they still have ESPNEWS, ESPNU, and ESPN2 to fill. And before somebody says get rid of those channels then I don't hear people complain about them in the fall with the smorgasbord of College Football they get to watch and I do hear them complain when ESPN has the audacity to put a game on ESPN3 (streaming) which is where they all would go. I don't get complaining that you don't watch ESPN besides games anymore, what else would you watch? I can get every highlight of every game on my phone instantly and there are even ways to get condensed versions of NBA, NFL and CFB games pretty soon after they air. In a world where I have that why the fuck would I watch any Sportcenter that was just all highlights? I mean what do you expect them to put on? Most of their original programming is cheap filler just to fill air time to sell some Nugenix ads between games and 30 for 30. What would you have them do? This isn't unique to ESPN either and I don't get why they are held to such a high standard. Would you swear off CBS because you didn't like something Gayle King said? The whole argument is ridiculous and boils down to "I don't watch this channel unless they have something on I like" which fucking duh.

All of this animosity belies the fact that ESPN is without a doubt my favorite place to watch a game. The only one that can even remotely measure up is NBA on TNT. ESPN doesn't have a stupid robot dancing on my screen every 5 minutes, ESPN has multiple channels so if a lead in game runs long I can easily switch over if I need to, ESPN has the best sports streaming in the business and most of their announcers don't suck. It's NBA and NCAAM talking heads are excellent and NFL ones are more hit than miss. I'll concede it's CFB ones suck but that seems to be a sport wide phenomenon, I challenge you to find one good one across every company that doesn't spend Saturdays calling games. To me at least they are the Worldwide Leader for a reason and I don't get all the hate.

Tbf though if you want to come at me about their idiotic decision to end Grantland I have no counter argument.

05/18/2017 - 3:19pm Yeah bro

I'm out here trying to be the very best, like no one ever was

Guests: Tesla, J. Edgar Hoover, Herodotus, Someone who built Stonehenge, Jesus

Setting: Library of Alexandria at its peak.

04/17/2017 - 1:52pm 0% chance we see alternating quarters/series

That was dumb when Carr did it and it's still dumb now. Harbaugh has made it pretty clear that QB competitions end when training camp does. After that the starter is the starter. When Rudock struggled he didn't rotate in another guy, same with Speight. The only reason Kaep took over was because Smith got hurt, and when Smith came back he never rotated them to see who he liked best. He made a decision and stuck with it.

04/07/2017 - 6:58pm 2013

Was the Year of Infinite TFL's, we finished last in the country and had significantly negative rushing yards against MSU and Nebraska(!). You want to see how far this team has come go look at that Nebraska game. 2014 might have felt bad but that 2013 line (the guards specifically) was literally the worst.

04/06/2017 - 9:12pm DL Depth

Solomon was always going to come in a play a significant role as a freshman. That's why everyone made such a big deal about getting him as a recruit. Bryan Mone will be the only other true NT on the roster next year and he has yet to stay healthy for a full season. Team 138 will have the talent to make noise next year but depth will be an issue at every position excepts RB and maybe TE and WR.

04/03/2017 - 7:54am To quote another Michigan coaching great

"No man is more important than the team! No coach is more important than the team!"

03/09/2017 - 6:35pm *sniffle*

03/03/2017 - 6:26am It's Friday?!!
02/21/2017 - 10:59pm During his recruitment

There was talk of him not wanting to go far away from home because he was really close with his family. Maybe the kid just got homesick. And wasn't one of his siblings sick or something (or was that Boss)? Maybe he had to go home because of that. I don't think it was because it gets cold in Ann Arbor.

02/15/2017 - 6:03pm 12-1

If we finished 12-1 w/ a loss to Iowa and a Conference Championship I'd feel a lot better about last season. Even if we got hammered by Clemson. That would be arguably our best season since '97. How is this even a question?

01/30/2017 - 1:43pm Unless I'm mistaken about how

Unless I'm mistaken about how Aranda uses his OLBs I think Gay projects more to ILB. Don't see much DE in him.

01/30/2017 - 1:05pm That was Harris. Who I

That was Harris. Who I personally haven't given up on

01/26/2017 - 3:17pm In LSUs scheme I gotta think

In LSUs scheme I gotta think Gay is an ILB. I don't see him taking on tackles and TEs and rushing the passer from the outside in a 3-4. An OLB in that scheme is more like Arden Key or Lamarr Woodley. That being said apparently LSU has a dearth of LBs and needs everyone they can get their hands on, plus for an elite player like Gay you find a spot no matter what.

01/25/2017 - 11:05am I disagree that Butt didn't

I disagree that Butt didn't get better blocking the last two years. He was never great at it and he probably never will be but he definitely got better. Also you're ignoring the AJ Williams bump and it's not like we've been looking at the TE position as a major weak spot the last 2 years even without Butt.

01/25/2017 - 11:02am I don't know where all of

I don't know where all of this "Harbaugh is pushing out all of his assistants because reasons" stuff is coming from but I don't think this is a subtle hint for Drevno to leave. I mean I'd bet that he stays here longer that Pep Hamilton does

01/24/2017 - 3:18pm LSU plays a 3-4 so he'd play

LSU plays a 3-4 so he'd play OLB in their system.

01/21/2017 - 1:30pm If Taco went and Butt was

If Taco went and Butt was healthy we could have 9(!) players at the senior bowl. That's crazy…

01/16/2017 - 12:39am If we don't get Aubrey

If we don't get Aubrey Solomon back and don't pull in Tufele then he'd have to be my choice. We are in dire need of NTs. Damien Harris would be runner up and Darrin Kirkland would be nice to have right now.

01/15/2017 - 9:25pm Slimmed down in the NFL and

Slimmed down in the NFL and at least his last year at MSU his OL was worse than ours

01/04/2017 - 1:13pm Well my best friend's

Well my best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with this girl who said Najee said he was going to go to Michigan at 31 flavors last night. I guess he was pretty serious…

12/28/2016 - 2:27pm Najee is a luxury pick up, we

Najee is a luxury pick up, we have a nice stable of backs. RB is not a position of worry. We have all of 1 true NT on the roster next year and he has a history of injury concerns. I do not want a repeat of the end of last season. Aubrey Solomon is a MUST get for this class as I think we are pretty much out of it for Tufele.
