Then why is the ball the same size? Why is everything else the same except the shot clock and the lane?
Using your logic, college free throws should be at 12 feet instead of 15, the rooms should be 9.5 feet, and the court should be only 90 feet instead of 94 (and so on).
Please give me a better argument than "development" as to why the three point line should be closer.
All the other court dimensions are the same as the NBA (hoop height at 10', hoop diameter the same, free throw at 15', etc.), so why not the three point line?
The 3 point line should be the exact same distance as the NBA. If you can't get it there with accuracy, you shouldn't be shooting it at the college level.
Pick and roll to the hoop (as opposed to wanting to pop all the time--something he admitted he loves and chooses to do rather than reading it correctly all the time) with an immediate feed. Mo needs to be a better passer out of any double that might come.
PSU wasn't just one incident. Go read the initial Grand Jury report--it's not long; shouldnt take more than a half hour to read. There were many victims.
The fact that you don't know this and are making judgments is a problem.
To everyone: please don't judge if you don't have at least most of the facts.
1. ex-Head Coach Kathie Klages should go to prison for the rest of her life.
2. Major sexual crimes have now happened at three universities of good to great repuation. The big takeaway is that this can happen anywhere and, for Michigan, we have to take specific actions to prevent them and bring them to light the instant they do. Moreover, this has to remain at the forefront of the athletic department's (and University's) thinking going forward. If I was Warde Manuel, this would be keeping me up every night.
Will only maybe impact a handful of closing targets, then next season's class will react more to the 2018 season and will have completely forgotten about this past season.
Georgia finished 6-6 last year, they seem to be doing alright with this year's class (#1 overall).
I see football scoop as the cleanest shirt in the dirty shirt pile that is coaching carousel news.
What I see is a lot of maize and blue colored glasses dismissing this as garbage b/c it's not confirmed by the AP, Reuters, CNN, and Brian Cook.
Football Scoop says flat out that all its sources are confidential, yet I find it interesting that everyone here assumes their source is Chat Sports b/c a) Chat Sports is garbage, b) Chat Sports reported something we don't like, and therefore c) anyone who reports something similar is garbage.
What if Chat Sports said climate change is real? Pfft, chat sports, now let's burn some fossil fuels!
Who decides which site(s) have journalistic integrity when it comes to coaching jobs?
Him, according to him (and you).
All I'm saying is that Football Scoop has the longest and most accurate (relatively speaking) record when it comes to these things.
How does everyone know they're using Chat Sports as their main source? Because that's all everyone here has seen and, therefore, no one else could have more and/or better sources that just happen to agree?
And as far as logical validity is concerned, just b/c Football Scoop happens to get one wrong here and there, does that mean they aren't credible? Because "if ever incorrect, then no credibility" is the basis for journalistic integrity, then no source has integrity.
If (when these folks get things incorrect--as has every major media outlet that has ever done reporting) this ends up being incorrect I wouldn't be shocked if the information they have is accurate as we speak but ends up being incorrect (e.g. Les Miles to Michigan in 2007).
Unless the HC is over-the-top stressing it to his coaching staff to not ever do this or be fired, I would bet that there are at least a couple guys on every staff in the country who text while driving.

And have to go to the next team meeting. Gonna be some paint peeling off those walls.
...but that's because they don't know how to evaluate teams.
PSU was around 29 or 30 in kenpom on selection Sunday. Would've been an 8 or 9 seed going by kenpom.
Of course, I'm not upset because that school and their fanbase can go F themselves.
Whoever said they shouldn't win anything, ever again is speaking my language.
LMU took only 4 more shots overall, but they were 21-40 from three (!!!) while we were just 4-13.
LMU scored 84 points in the 2nd half.
Jeff Fryer from LMU was 11-15 from three and finished with 41 points.
This is a shitty thread in July. In March it's reprehensible.

The Duncan Dagger!
But any 1-seed that gets a #8 seed Michigan in its region is going to be sending the committe a nicely worded FOAD letter.
Your meter is broken.
Noticeable how bad Wisconsin is.

Did the guy Mo was guarding have? Please don't just look at the box.
I swear it was open threes or whoever Mo was guarding going past him and/or over him for a layup.
I wouldn't touch him with a draft pick if I was an NBA GM.
And then they changed their name to Express Pizza.
It's not the worst post ever, but it's pretty damned horrendous.
Who had 8 minutes in the 3-star mafia pool?
Pick and roll to the hoop (as opposed to wanting to pop all the time--something he admitted he loves and chooses to do rather than reading it correctly all the time) with an immediate feed. Mo needs to be a better passer out of any double that might come.
They already hosted three.
Huh?
Very bad decision, Holmes.
Your complete lack of sensitivity is alarming.
Pretty play!
Night and day.
This team looks legit good.
Beilein just threw in the towel.

It's pretty easy to tell from the chart when the shot clock changed from 35 seconds to 30.
Who dares neg umbig11?
Now with Facebook and Twitter, one can find thousands of fellow morons who agree and, ergo, one must be right!
They'll still make a better hire than their rival.

Because Football Scoop reported it, and their source was verified by mgoblog as Chat Sports.
LA, LA, LA, NOT LISTENING, LA LA LA
Coach Frey out there today?
Follow-up Q: Coach Frey on the field?
Non-important bowl game in the state of Florida w/o a team from the state of Florida playing usually is a recipe for a lot of empty seats.

Name ONE journalistic institution that has a spotless rep.
Dude has an excellent track record, but if he doesn't fit, he doesn't fit.

They have a decades-long reputation of credibility among the coaches themselves. Again, these guys are the BBC News of coaching jobs.
Football Scoop has long been the leader in coaching jobs scuttlebutt. I think it's safe to say that this is now at least a real possibility.
Unless the HC is over-the-top stressing it to his coaching staff to not ever do this or be fired, I would bet that there are at least a couple guys on every staff in the country who text while driving.
1. This is final exam time.
2. You need to play actual games to keep the rust off.
The best thing to do to solve both of these problems is to play these types of games. Everyone does it, and the reasons for it are above.
It looks like a scene from Independence Day out there:
Winning the East Division should be in there, IMO.
Pat-na
That's Teddy V. and Dakich, isn't it?
EDIT: Looks like Teddy V. initiated it, too. Fuck yourself, hack.
We got swept at Yost in hockey the same weekend as the football game.
