For those that need a laugh on a Friday.

How many championships has Jim Harbaugh won?

Asking for a friend.

@TomPoisal @JustinGundy
Butch: https://t.co/tKkFTScnby

Jim: https://t.co/A6kIFrZrgJ

Just saying.

— Houston Kress (@VolRumorMill) March 4, 2016

@JustinGundy @TomPoisal Never said that. Just pointing out that he gets crowned as "great" when he hasn't accomplished that much.

— Houston Kress (@VolRumorMill) March 4, 2016

@JustinGundy @TomPoisal Short stint/fired in the NFL. Stanford is doing fine without him. Hoke had Michigan loaded and the Big10 is garbage.

— Houston Kress (@VolRumorMill) March 4, 2016

@JustinGundy @TomPoisal I'm not saying he's terrible. Just saying he gets too much credit.

— Houston Kress (@VolRumorMill) March 4, 2016

@WilKyle Because he's a guy who can dish it but can't take it. That's all.

Let me get this straight:

2 MAC Championships  > NFC Championship.

I'd argue that winning the Orange Bowl is more impressive than multiple MAC Championships.

The amount of goalposts moving to claim Harbaugh isn't a good coach from Sparty, buckeye, and volunteer fans is amazing. What will they say when he wins the big ten title this year when the he hasn't ever won a championship thing fails.

The crowds at Tenn are so racist how any kid goes there baffles me. Sit in the stands and you hear the N word more than anything else. They don't say run Bill, run Bob they yell run N word. F them

Of course you all realize that when he does win his first national title, these same critics will be saying, "Why are we talking like he's great?  Does he have as many titles as Saban or Meyer?  Just asking."

If you think the goalposts are moving already, just wait.

I want all of these people to keep talking about how he has never won anything, that way all of these recruits can start believing they are the missing piece for Jim to finally win. Little does everyone know, he is already going to win big here. And also this is his final stop.

Aint it funny in todays culture how the criminal crys foul and becomes the victim. Suck it up VOL. fans, Jones asked for it and Jimmy thru the knock out punch.

I don't get what the guy that put both Butch and Jims Wikipedia link up was trying to prove. I mean, look at there win percentage, let's start there. Harbaugh=68% overall (NFL and college) and Butch=61% in just college. If he was trying to make a case that Butch is the better coach, the stats don't lie.

Not sure if the MAC and the Big East would be considered garbage conferences to this guy... Just sayin!

So Hoke gets all the credit for the talent and success we had this year, but Harbaugh gets no credit for getting Stanford relevant and a national contender. #volslogic

For the most part I don't have a problem with the tweets etc from Harbaugh. High school kids today are a different breed and I think Harbaugh has found a way to connect with recruits and help remind people that Michigan is a sleeping giant just ready to awaken and kick some ass. That being said, if he loses to Staee again this season he may see the fan base start to question his methods.

I get its a rivalry, but really? 59:48 of that game was DOMINATED by our lines. Cook was bailed out on a few throws by great receiver play. State doesn't "reload", their Defense will be similar, but that offense is going to look different with out Cook and the O-line... I expect MSU to talk a lot of $*%# after that game because it will not be pretty. Our Defense will most definitely be better with the addition of Brown + older Peppers + Bush Jr + Kemp + GARY...

The Harbaugh-has-no-championships argument

When your entire opinion of a coach would change if one play had gone differently (Kaepernick's 4th and G incompletion in the Super Bowl), that's when you know your opinion is stupid.

The funny thing is you couldn't find one Tennessee fan who wouldn't drop Butch for Jimmy in a heart beat, including this ass clown.

for those who try to just say Harbaugh's success has been a series of luck, then it has been a pretty consistent series lof luck. I'd expect any TN whiner would be happy to go to Vegas with someone with such 'consistent luck' like that!

But there is a good reason why JH gets so much attention—why he gets invited to places like the State of the Union address and the Pebble Beach Pro-Am (3x)---also why he can recruit guys like Brady, Jeter and a host of famous entertainers to his own events.

That's because JH too is a celebrity.  And he became one not just because of an inspiring but brief  college coaching career.  He attained his celebrity  because of what he accomplished at a much higher level.  Not only did he have an amazing NFL career as a Pro Bowl QB     He also had a historic record as an NFL coach.   Indeed, only 3 modern day coaches had a higher NFL win % than JH.  John Madden, George Allen and Vince Lombardi—after whom the Super Bowl trophy is named.

By contrast, the best coach in the radio host's preferred conference (Nick Saban in the SEC), actually had  a LOSING record in the NFL.

They hate Michigan in Tennessee.  I lived in Nashville during the 90s and would watch Michigan games at a local bar.  95% of those idiots yelled obsenities at the TV.  This was pre-Woodson Heisman too.  I remember the Tim Biakabatuka game vs. Ohio which brought Tenn. fans to near tears.  They hate Michigan and always will.
