Rashan Gary at Pizza House
I just ran into Rashan Gary, Drew Singleton, and a couple Paramus Catholic coaches at Pizza House. Told 'em we love players from New Jersey and that Paramus has been good to us so far (they laughed). Said I thought they'd find Ann Arbor to be a good place to spend their college years, they said they agreed.
Feel free to delete this if this doesn't add enough to the discussion. I'm only posting because I was not aware that Gary was in town on an unofficial and thought folks might find that to be positive news. If it is common knowledge he's in town, you may also feel free to delete!

Yeah, he in town. I wonder how many times Gary will eat at Pizza House over the next couple years.

Pizza House called. They've run out of every ingredient to make any item on their menu.

Well, I guess there are two possible answers: zero and "a lot."

I believe that the Beav is interviewing our AD candidates, then has a Regents mtg, and then has contract negotiations with the new AD and President Schlissel.
In between, he does a load of dishes created by Rashan and Drew.

I hope you came across as fairly well adjusted and not a creep :)

Yeah, just tried to let them know that we supported them and that they'd be right at home here. Tried to stay out of their way for the most part.

I approached him doing my best World War One Shell Shock impression and stuttered out an explanation that I had just survived a recent California earthquake.

Oh Boutros, Boutros. Golly, that was rude.
(1000 points if you appreciate this quip...)

or Letterman?
I remember Dave making fun of that name, but it reeks of a Seinfield throw-back....

Per usual, when he found something funny, he went back to it again and again. If I recall, he even had James Earl Jones read it as the kicker for a Top 10 list.

I appreciated the quip, but it wasn't like you were referencing something ridiculously obscure that needed a pre-emptive explanation.

Hmmmmm, maybe you're right. But there is a pretty large group on this board who think of the 1997 NC team as "Old Time Wolverines"... ;-)

2. Observe
3. Reckonize [sic] Big Boutros is kind of a big deal
4. Only then consider posting
Four days generally isn't enough time.

Ok, if I need to empirically demonstrate this to you, here's what needs to happen. Take a road trip with 3+ people. When you stop at hotels along the way, only get one room. Drink one bottle of liquor each. Get crazy. The butt smelling will organically happen. Butts are like snowflakes--each one is a little different, but they all have some basic characteristics in common.

I came to this post hoping to read about Gary. Oh how things changed quickly.

like to me anyways, that you put too much time and thought into this...

Pretty sure he said that earlier this week too. Just getting the word out. Don't look into that part too much.

I've got to wonder if had he committed to us earlier (assuming of course that he does) would it have helped with other recruits.
