Rashan Gary at Pizza House
I just ran into Rashan Gary, Drew Singleton, and a couple Paramus Catholic coaches at Pizza House. Told 'em we love players from New Jersey and that Paramus has been good to us so far (they laughed). Said I thought they'd find Ann Arbor to be a good place to spend their college years, they said they agreed.
Feel free to delete this if this doesn't add enough to the discussion. I'm only posting because I was not aware that Gary was in town on an unofficial and thought folks might find that to be positive news. If it is common knowledge he's in town, you may also feel free to delete!

Yeah, he in town. I wonder how many times Gary will eat at Pizza House over the next couple years.

Pizza House called. They've run out of every ingredient to make any item on their menu.

Well, I guess there are two possible answers: zero and "a lot."

Was the Beav working?
January 22nd, 2016 at 3:44 AM ^
Nah, he takes Thursdays off to talk Tom.
January 22nd, 2016 at 5:47 AM ^
Haha! Thanks for the laugh this morning!
January 22nd, 2016 at 5:44 AM ^
...when Jay's on the case, might as well consider it a done deal.
January 22nd, 2016 at 12:31 PM ^
I believe that the Beav is interviewing our AD candidates, then has a Regents mtg, and then has contract negotiations with the new AD and President Schlissel.
In between, he does a load of dishes created by Rashan and Drew.

I hope you came across as fairly well adjusted and not a creep :)
January 22nd, 2016 at 2:12 AM ^
Yeah, just tried to let them know that we supported them and that they'd be right at home here. Tried to stay out of their way for the most part.

DON'T TWEET AT...Oh. Oops. Nevermind.
January 22nd, 2016 at 7:29 AM ^
Doesn't have the same ring to it.
January 22nd, 2016 at 7:50 AM ^
As long as he didn't ask a passer-by to take a group-selfie of him with the Paramus crew.
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:12 AM ^
I think having a random passerby take the picture no longer makes it a selfie.

I approached him doing my best World War One Shell Shock impression and stuttered out an explanation that I had just survived a recent California earthquake.

Tomsula is that you?
The resemblance....
January 22nd, 2016 at 8:06 AM ^
Oh Boutros, Boutros. Golly, that was rude.
(1000 points if you appreciate this quip...)
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:00 AM ^
or Letterman?
I remember Dave making fun of that name, but it reeks of a Seinfield throw-back....
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:24 AM ^
Per usual, when he found something funny, he went back to it again and again. If I recall, he even had James Earl Jones read it as the kicker for a Top 10 list.
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:26 AM ^
I appreciated the quip, but it wasn't like you were referencing something ridiculously obscure that needed a pre-emptive explanation.
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:30 AM ^
Hmmmmm, maybe you're right. But there is a pretty large group on this board who think of the 1997 NC team as "Old Time Wolverines"... ;-)

Stupidtown is one word, jackass.
And Boutros's butt is serious biznass.

1. Create account
2. Observe
3. Reckonize [sic] Big Boutros is kind of a big deal
4. Only then consider posting
Four days generally isn't enough time.

They all smell the same.
January 22nd, 2016 at 3:47 AM ^
Can't tell if serious or trolling but that's obviously not true.
January 22nd, 2016 at 6:29 AM ^
Please, tell us more...

Ok, if I need to empirically demonstrate this to you, here's what needs to happen. Take a road trip with 3+ people. When you stop at hotels along the way, only get one room. Drink one bottle of liquor each. Get crazy. The butt smelling will organically happen. Butts are like snowflakes--each one is a little different, but they all have some basic characteristics in common.

I came to this post hoping to read about Gary. Oh how things changed quickly.
January 22nd, 2016 at 10:17 AM ^
Yeah, and some people advocate boycotting the Freep in favor of this...
January 22nd, 2016 at 11:15 AM ^
You must be new here.
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:31 AM ^
like to me anyways, that you put too much time and thought into this...
I mean, "Butts are like snowflakes"

for your efforts in extending the boundaries of human knowledge.

I'm willing to bet that in about 8 hours it will smell like cheese and pepperoni.
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:08 AM ^
Victory. A sweet smell.

Why didn't you show him the tattoo of Roy Orbison on your ass?
January 22nd, 2016 at 2:12 AM ^
has a tattoo of his ass with that tattoo on his forehead.
January 22nd, 2016 at 2:19 AM ^
No need. His momma likes Michigan.

see Rashan Gary tweet "I will tweet my college decision on Feb 3rd live on CBS Sports network & answer a few questions from my followers @RashanGary33" a few hours ago obviously while he was here in AA. Interesting timing to say that or maybe just coincidence but very interesting.
January 22nd, 2016 at 2:56 AM ^
Agreed. It could be coincidence, but your math is making sense to me, anyway.
January 22nd, 2016 at 8:15 AM ^
Pretty sure he said that earlier this week too. Just getting the word out. Don't look into that part too much.
January 22nd, 2016 at 9:06 AM ^
I've got to wonder if had he committed to us earlier (assuming of course that he does) would it have helped with other recruits.
