Jaylen Brown To Cal
Uh, okay?
Jaylen Brown tells Scout that he has committed to California. Story coming.

The lesson, as always, is that Tennessee is bad at having college sports. It would have been real, real nice to grab Brown but Michigan is still looking at a very deep roster that should see them have a nice 2015-16. C'est la vie.

and just say that I think he really wants to play with Ivan Rabb, I think he's a better player than Jaylen IMHO.
C'est la vie, C'est la vie, C'est la vie
I'm making over $7k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life. This is what I do... www.jobs-review.com
That's odd, I thought you were a reporter for the Washington Post whose articles I occasionally read when someone leaves the Metro section in the toilet stall at work.

We're a two-and-done school anyways. Forget the one-and-dones.
and you trust him?
2 out of the last 10 top 5 prospects have stayed more than 1 year.
JB's stuff is too hard to learn and execute for a kid coming out of high school. A one-and-done would do better to look elsewhere. That's not sour grapes just how I don't think a one-and-done will flourish in JB's system.
Sucks for all those who count stars as recruiting wins but I'd rather have actual wins on the court.

No one left to recruit for a 2015 scholarship that has high level skill set is there ?

What academic opportunities do they offer that Michigan doesn't?
at least it's not Kentucky so you can't knock the kid for going back on everything he said about academics being a big factor.
When it's Michigan and Cal the only difference in academics is in particular programs where one will be better than the other. I would say he chose a level of academics over strictly a basketball team, unless he already was looking at particular fields. So even though academics seems to have been what led him to schools like Michigan and Cal it was probably something other than academics that made the difference between us.

Rationalizing his decision for him:
Academics are a wash. Cal's great, we're great, whatever.
He's probably a lottery pick regardless of the skill development going on.
Berkeley weather > Ann Arbor weather
And the real tiebreaker for any 18 year old dude: California girls.

and the California men are a million times better than any other man in the entire country! Yum yum! Can we not have this stupid blanket statement discussion again about someone's personal opinion of beauty and where they ALL go to college.
You're right. I need to remember my audience. Sorry for the rant. Just seems to come up a lot. Maybe that never factored into Jaylen's decision. Pass on the xanax. Thanks, though.
wasn't his point. He didn't say better; but Cal is certainly legit and comparable.
I think he's referring to them getting rid of Cuonzo Martin, who is now the coach at Cal and has since recruited the #1 and #5 players in the country according to Scout.
...or at least that's how I took it.
What elite player goes to Cal?
The #5 player in the nation that committed to them earilier. So i guess the answer is at least one other elite player other than Brown
WTH!!!
