While there's no doubt this staff wouldn't know what to do with Tom Brady, Anthony Carter or Steve Hutchinson, I no longer believe that we're actually that talented, either. If we were as talented as our recruiting rankings indicated, we'd at least be mediocre.

Almost all of our guys were recruited by the best programs in the country. I seriously doubt they aren't talented. They're being misused by a clueless staff.

This is one of the most talented teams in the nation. Zook sucked at UF and a good coach was able to turn that into a championship team. Someone did a comparison a couple years back about the number of OSU and Bama offers out recruits had, and it was quite substantial. Unless UM has the worst luck and they got literally every recruit that doesn't pan out, this is on the coaches not adequately developing and using the talent available.

That we had a bye week and two weeks to prepare.  Otherwise, we might have played bad football today.  Oh wait ... we stink in all aspects of the game, nevermind.

The next coaching staff will need to develop 3* players into winners.  This will occupy a few seasons in all likelihood.

There's no place to hide.  Fortunately I went to a matinee instead of watching the first half, unfortunately I tuned-in second half.

I fell asleep at halftime and had to rewind much of the third quarter to see what I'd missed. I wouldn't have done that during a game against a MAC team in the not too distant past.

I hear ya. This is the first time since 1996 that I didn't even bother recording the game. I didn't even get home until halftime and barely checked the score in the first half. Several years ago, I never would have done that. That's what Michigan fans have been reduced to now. We're dead inside. There's never anything to look forward to.

Why wouldn't we want to fire Hoke now? Got to be better than carrying him through the season.

Also, is there any way we could have won this game with this talent?. Any way at all?
