What a beginning to an amazing career!

Hmmm, I think there is another, more recent, exciting Michigan player who also took his first touch as a Michigan Man to the endzone.  Who could that be?

Anyone, anyone?

The first contact drill day, like 5 or 6 days into camp, Hoke said they were limiting his reps to ease him back in. That's only two weeks ago, so it's probably still the case. Those were his first contact reps since his injury so it makes sense they're being careful with him. Big guys tend to need more time to recover completely from ACLs than fast skill guys.

Not surprised with Glasgow on the DL...lot of solid reports regarding him and not to mention Pipkins probably still working his way back from his ACL.

All in all with the rotation on the DL it should be fresh guys constantly hopefully creating pressure.

Pretty exciting to have a talented kid like that bringing some electricity to the return game! When was the last time we returned one for a TD? Must have been Breaton, right? And Stonum vs ND on a KR.

The last true punt return that wasn't a blocked kick ran back was by Martavious Odoms in 2008 at Purdue.

The last kickoff return for a TD was Stonum in 2009 vs ND. Michigan has only had two kickoff returns for a TD in the 21st century.

Neither. The NCAA didn't officially even have a stat category for it up until recently since it's so rare. 3rd rarest play in football. Missed FG return yards are now counted under a new category created for it called Miscellaneous Yards. Second is the dropkick which is still legal and the first is the 1-point safety which has only happened twice in modern rules. Happened in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl.

I hope Hoke doesn't change his mind on this. Watching Peppers is the only reason I renewed my season tickets this year.

at worst Jabrill will be a tyrann mathieu type corner. I actually question whether he is a "lockdown" corner but a guy that just flat out makes big plays with his instincts and ability to make something happen after a fumble recovery or int. I guess you could compare him to Patrick Peterson but I just see more tyrann mathieu but not as weak as a high school freshman.

CANNOT WAIT to see number 5 running down the sideline as the BIG HOUSE erupts in week 1. Will be one of many. This kid is going to be special. Enjoy him while we have him!

the role of the nose in this defense is to be stout and occupy blockers, allowing the LB's to have a clean shot at the RB. i remember hearing earlier that glasgow was very good at this. the 2 interior line spots are going to be a revolving door of good players. fatigue will never be an issue for this defense.
