Play To Win!
Everywhere you go--Michigan news sites; MGOBlog; other blogs; Brandstatter and Dierdorf; Michigan football alum; national news--everywhere people are saying Harbaugh needs to get a more up-to-date offense.
Stop playing not to lose. We've got play makers. Let them get out and ball.
Coach Harbaugh: Get an OC who knows how to win and let him make good things happen.
He's got to be listening. Right?
Sorry if this is redundant but I'll say it again. No fear. Play to win!

Do we need a thread for every snowflake? Especially tired, oft-repeated ones?
December 31st, 2018 at 6:18 PM ^
Yes...and since tomorrow is a new year we need another half dozen or so because we will have already have forgotten 2018.
December 31st, 2018 at 5:56 PM ^
This post has completely changed my outlook on life and the future. I now plan to end it all tonight instead of tomorrow...
December 31st, 2018 at 6:07 PM ^
Stay alive, stay alive. I will find you.
December 31st, 2018 at 5:57 PM ^
Ok, cool. Go Blue

Insert Shia LeBeouf “Just Does It” video here
December 31st, 2018 at 5:58 PM ^
Thanks dipshit
December 31st, 2018 at 6:00 PM ^
Well, now that you say it...
December 31st, 2018 at 6:03 PM ^
Redundant?
December 31st, 2018 at 6:06 PM ^
You can say that again
December 31st, 2018 at 6:11 PM ^
JH makes more than any offensive mind in the nation. If he needs someone to come in and fix the offense he should be let go. Besides that, I just don't see him giving up control. At least after last season he said they would do full self scouting. This is what they came up with after that.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:12 PM ^
This is why I hate people who brag about their MGoPoints, there are people who have enough points to post shit like this. Atrocious.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:14 PM ^
Seriously, Jim hears the noise and will do what needs to be done.
Once the Rams are eliminated, do not be surprised to see Jedd return and be given full control over the offense.
Pep will head back to the NFL soon.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:26 PM ^
Why would you want Jedd to return? I don't see that as a change in philosophy.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:34 PM ^
Not a dramatic one, but it was certainly more creative and likely would be much more effective than whatever this year was, esp given our personnel now.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:52 PM ^
Currently Michigan's offense is an establish the run PA outfit. They mix in some RPO, but not a ton. They do not run any sort of tempo...except slow.
I don't see Jedd changing this and I don't see him as more creative.
I would like to see radical change. Hire someone like the Oklahoma State OC or Dan Enos, etc.
January 1st, 2019 at 12:21 PM ^
Dan Enos? Do you even follow Michigan football? Harbaugh already hired him before and he left for Alabama.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:38 PM ^
The Jedd love on this board is fascinating. He’s average. Would I rather have him than Pep? Yes. But I think Michigan can do much better.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:43 PM ^
But will Manball JH allow himself to do better?
Gotta have those inside runs into stacked boxes or you're playing powder puff football.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:47 PM ^
At the very least, it will bring back screen plays and hurry up sets.
But I think Jim realizes he's got one year left with Shea and the three king wideouts, so he'll be open to turning it loose.
December 31st, 2018 at 9:00 PM ^
Jedd must be the most overhyped assistant coach I've ever seen. Our offense when he was here was okay at best. And he's been okay at best elsewhere.

Hello long offseason my old friend
December 31st, 2018 at 9:53 PM ^
Laughed
December 31st, 2018 at 6:18 PM ^
Sorry if this response is redundant, but this is a really dumb post.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:20 PM ^
I’ve heard that Harbaugh is planning interviews with at least 5 current OC’s and a couple NFL guys (Fisch supposedly one of the NFL guys).
Ive also seen reports where Pep is supposed to be heading to the Lions (obvious after being in Green Bay?) I didn’t watch any of the pre/post-game pressers, but did anyone see where Pep apparently winked or smirked when asked if he was going back to the NFL or looking for another job?
December 31st, 2018 at 6:26 PM ^
Wait, is this Mineral King's other account???
December 31st, 2018 at 6:27 PM ^
Is there any intel as to who the OC's are? What source did you hear this from?
December 31st, 2018 at 10:03 PM ^
Uncited sources should be assumed to be online playing buddies for first-person shooters.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:24 PM ^
I agree with everyone who says this post is redundant. You are right.
Nevertheless, MGoBlog needs to keep hammering this message home until we see some results.
Our collective effort helped get rid of Dave Brandon.
If we stay on message I believe we can work together to get the OC we need.
I'll give up a few points to work toward making that happen.
Happy New Year everyone!
January 1st, 2019 at 1:11 AM ^
Lol. A redundant comment about a redundant post. Welcome to the offseason.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:39 PM ^
thanks
December 31st, 2018 at 6:53 PM ^
Not gonna happen.
December 31st, 2018 at 6:53 PM ^
We’ve been playing not to lose for years. We should hire the Oklahoma st. Offensive coordinator. There offense looks pretty good.
December 31st, 2018 at 7:21 PM ^
I'm thinking this one goes into the Hawt Take Hall of Fame!
December 31st, 2018 at 7:22 PM ^
There are probably half a dozen high school coaches in Texas that could be OC and score 40+ a game with our offensive talent. With Harbaugh here we dont need a recruiter for OC, we need a true innovative Xs and Os guy.
December 31st, 2018 at 7:31 PM ^
Offensive Revenge Tour 2019!!!!
December 31st, 2018 at 7:48 PM ^
Doubt it would happen, but Steve Sarkisian is available now. Had some personal issues a few years ago but his resume is pretty impressive.
December 31st, 2018 at 8:18 PM ^
Nope. Too much baggage.
December 31st, 2018 at 8:39 PM ^
And he's a nose picker to boot!
December 31st, 2018 at 9:57 PM ^
If he's a booger eater then it's a slam dunk!
December 31st, 2018 at 10:05 PM ^
I wish the guy well for sure, but FFS you can't bring in an addict who was showing up drunk to practices to be OC at a place like Michigan. Too high profile, too much pressure, too long a winter.
December 31st, 2018 at 7:57 PM ^
Considering they won't even try to score quickly down three scores in the 4th, its unlikely they'll try to do so at any time.
December 31st, 2018 at 8:23 PM ^
If he doesn't turn it over to a good OC - he will officially lose the team & next year will be his last.
December 31st, 2018 at 9:41 PM ^
everywhere people are saying Harbaugh needs to get a more up-to-date offense.
Not helpful.
Harbaugh is an obstinate, contrarian dude.
The more people that lecture him, the more he will dig in and "prove those bastards wrong".
He may never pass the ball again.
December 31st, 2018 at 10:24 PM ^
I don't think that's true. He basically hired Dan Enos, who is at Alabama helping with that offense. He did put in some RPO. They put in some wide receiver screens.
They need to work on the blocking for those because they were not great at it. Black tried to cut block a dude against Florida and missed...he's 6'-5"...just get in front of the defender.
December 31st, 2018 at 10:34 PM ^
A BIGBLUEWORLD scoop. Herm Edwards to Michigan.
Or maybe to Kentucky.
December 31st, 2018 at 10:45 PM ^
What a stupid fucking thread
January 1st, 2019 at 1:04 AM ^
oh boy...
This is going to be a long off season...
