Our rivals? At least 40% of the members of this board have at some point been screaming for him to be fired. Harbaugh is a great coach. But try telling that to anyone who feels personally offended that we had a bad game this year.

It's either bullshit or I've missed a lot of time. I typically post during the season, so maybe it was offseason when members of this board were "SCREAMING" for Coach Harbaugh to be fired.
I honestly can't remember 1 member of this board SCREAMING FOR HARBAUGH TO BE FIRED, but I'll take him at his word. But 'at least 40%'?

Hi. Dolphins fan here and Saban can stay in college. He's an awful NFL coach. Trust me I've seen him, he's awful when talent is equal. Same with Urbz. That's why the NFL never came back calling for Saban and NEVER called for Urbz.

Absolutely. Somebody wrote on a different thread that Saban can’t be successful in the NFL unless he gets five first round draft picks every year. Couldn’t be more true.
Urbz is just way more self aware and never wanted to take the beating to his precious reputation.

Do you understand that there is a BIG difference between coaching in the NFL and college. Both Saban and Urban are HOF COLLEGE coaches, Urban has stated on many occasions that he has no interest in the NFL. He's 7-0 against us and 4-0 against Jim. Not sure I understand the meaning of your post

I read that Florio story.
I read it in the way that I would want to read it, and use it, to skewer Florio. But the way it is written, it is calculated to be a deniable exercise in, “I was just reporting what I was told. What the Jets were thinking. I wasn’t making any prediction about where Harbaugh would be in the 2019 season.”
What pisses me off is that Florio has a law degree so I am not cutting him any slack. I am going to start following NFL football enough to figure out when the Jets secure their coach for next year. And then we can revisit Florio.

If you go the pros there is always a chance that you are 36-48 months away from looking for another job. You can have a multimillion dollar salary for a decade plus here or go revisit what hapoened at San Fran. Honestly that ended in a disaster and he did EVERYTHING for that franchise. But of course when did “the logical outcome” and UM sports ever go hand in hand. Dantonio made what Saban did at MSU look like “meh” but no SEC team comes sniffing after all that success? Urban owns college football with exception of Saban and the NFL doesnt even look his direction? Chip Kelly? Sure why not. Meyer? meh.
Also the NBA would love Beilein as a coach but they take his players early and then realize they arent as good without the system. Rinse repeat the next draft.

The coach hunt for Harbaugh is just comical to me. I don’t think he is going to go anywhere but for all the people that act like he isn’t an exceptional coach need to realize that he can get any vacant coaching job in the NFL. As long as he is our coach, this will be the offseason talk. I absolutely love the fact we have this man as our coach and will try to enjoy it as long as he believes this is the right fit for him.

Seeing Harbaugh just said he’s not leaving for the NFL, IL going to take his word for it. What I wouldn’t be surprised with is for the Jets, or any other team reaching out to his agent.
I know he’s not in a contract year but wondering if Michigan has offered an extension and if not, why they haven’t.
