I am so sorry for your loss. If it was her, your wife was awesome when I knew her as a kid and we shared a common bond of die hard Tigers fandom, even when they weren't any good. Loved seeing all the posts of you and her adventuring and doing fun stuff together too the last few years. I just cannot fathom what you are going through.

Thankful for my wife and 6 little ones (Lilly, 5 and Francesca, 7 are out for this morning sit with me....so likely wont be seeing anything, but a cool experience for them) and all the abundant blessings God has given me this year!
Oldest son, 9, woke us up shortly after 4am.... ready and excited to open presents. Spent the next three hours trying to get him to stay quiet so he didn't wake up 5 younger siblings. Once everyone woke up we had cinnamon rolls. I got to learn what "we" bought all the kids right along with then as they opened their presents. My wife got me a new insulated coffee mug (need a LOT of coffee around here) and some fancy Garmin watch that tells me 1000things besides just the time, but I have no clue how to use. Also got some new supplies for the grill from the kids. Bought Mrs. Jumbo a remote starter for her car, which she was pretty stoked about and a few other small things. Kids loved all their stuff and it kept them busy most of the day. Life is good
Big time prayers for you and your family FRIEND. On your last post I commented about losing my mom at 18, it was to a bowel obstruction and your story of the surgery had me thinking of and remembering her and waiting out those hours of surgery. Use however many months you have to tell him everything you wanted to and that you love Him. Truth is we all should follow that advice as no one knows the day or hour they could be called home. I will keep praying for you and him. If you are ever in the Muskegon area we can go chat over beer somewhere. God bless you.

It would be a shock it he didn't add another Cy Young to that resume this year too. Showing no signs of slowing down his last two years have been his best two in awhile. If I were a betting man I'd put money on him as a shoo in five years after he hangs em up.
