His Ball's on Johnson!

Will Cornelius be UofM's Fifth Element on offense?
Missed it by that much :)

Only movie I have ever walked out of in the theater.
December 18th, 2018 at 11:41 AM ^
Wow, I'm not saying you have terrible taste... but y'know.
December 18th, 2018 at 11:50 AM ^
Does that mean you've never watched a movie with Nicolas Cage in it?
December 18th, 2018 at 11:56 AM ^
Fucking wicker man

8MM is amazing
December 18th, 2018 at 2:38 PM ^
8mm is absolute trash
December 18th, 2018 at 9:34 PM ^
8MM has a terrific premise but the execution is atrocious.
December 18th, 2018 at 3:30 PM ^
The only Nicholas cage movie worth a watch is and always will be face/off
December 18th, 2018 at 1:48 PM ^
I love Nicolas Cage. I’m a total Cager. He was fantastic in The Rock
December 18th, 2018 at 4:21 PM ^
The Rock was a fun movie.

Ball's on Johnson? I liked that film. Oh...Fifth Element.
December 18th, 2018 at 11:59 AM ^
I walked out on “the Strangers” (2008.) Piece of trash predictable horror flick with no plot and full of clichés.
December 18th, 2018 at 2:00 PM ^
My wife and I walked out of Young Einstein.
Also, took my two oldest kids to see the first Pokemon movie in 1998. They were 4 and 6. I didn't walk out as that could have been worse for my kids (who were so happy to be seeing it) psychologically than say...killing kittens in front of them, but that movie was so bad.

Lelu Dallas... multipass
December 18th, 2018 at 11:35 AM ^
Nice. I'm really high on this kid. He could be like another Tarik Black on the roster.
On a separate note, I wonder if Michigan will push for some backup options on the D-line post signing day. It's a big D-line class as it is, but it made sense to push for Harrison and Karlaftis since they are elite talents. Would they do the same if they are recruiting kids that have potential, but are projects?
December 18th, 2018 at 11:48 AM ^
I sure as hell hope so. Michigan only has two interior lineman in this class. With Solomon gone, I think the staff has to grab another DT or two. My untrained eye saw a DT unit that wasn't all that impressive this year. They must improve and continue to stock up on talent.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:03 PM ^
I'm with you. I think we have 3 in this class though because I believe Mike Morris should also slide inside along with Smith and Hinton.
December 18th, 2018 at 11:51 AM ^
There was a post on 247 yesterday that the coaches were trying to get D'Von Ellies on campus for a visit.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:01 PM ^
I believe they're also trying to recruit Jared Harrison Hunte for DT as well. I believe both are PSU leans but I'm not sure what their timeline is (as in if they are signing early or not).
December 18th, 2018 at 12:06 PM ^
D'Von Ellies is announcing Jan 19th. PSU and Trojans were his top 2. Hopefully Michigan can make a late run at him.
December 18th, 2018 at 4:12 PM ^
Harrison-Hunte would be my pick of the options here.
December 18th, 2018 at 4:23 PM ^
Honestly, I think he could end up being better than Tarik Black.
December 18th, 2018 at 7:04 PM ^
I'm sure they will, but it probably won't solve the short-term problem for next year. They basically have a couple starters with flaws at DT and then freshmen. Throwing more freshmen at that isn't going to do much.
Need to hope for a big leap in run defense from Dwumfour, further development from Kemp and a surprise or two out of Jeter, Welchof, Upshaw or someone.
The current freshmen committed (Hinton and Smith) project to be about as good as freshmen reasonably could be...but they'll still be freshmen. Any productive minutes would be a bonus.
December 18th, 2018 at 11:40 AM ^
No slight on this young man but I venture with the past couple days of developments everyone is just apathetic to football and recruiting...count me in that category.
December 18th, 2018 at 11:45 AM ^
Whew! How thoughtful. WTF
December 18th, 2018 at 11:49 AM ^
So if we get Johnson, lose out on Harrison, not sure who else we are going to realistically get.
Johnson puts us at 26 commits, everyone is speculating we take 29-30 this class.
Deloach is staying with FSU. I just haven't heard any other names we are in on, except the Longshot of getting Dax Hill back.
Who knows where these other 3-4 commits come from, unless we have ppl we pursue between now and February
December 18th, 2018 at 11:51 AM ^
Well, why can't we just flip some other teams' prized recruits, the way that teams always do to us?
December 18th, 2018 at 11:52 AM ^
Because we don’t
December 18th, 2018 at 12:09 PM ^
Didn't we just flip a 4-star linebacker from Miami?
December 18th, 2018 at 12:18 PM ^
True, but he’s a three star on 247 ranked 402 and thought I heard Miami cooled on him, but they had a bunch of decomits recently.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:33 PM ^
Maybe Miami cooled on him, but he'd be their 6th or 7th highest-rated commit in a class that isn't particularly impressive and, as you noted, lost some commits recently. That doesn't mean this isn't sort of mutual, but like OSU when Harrison looked like he was going to UM that feels like a bit of revisionist history by the Canes.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:52 PM ^
I guess my initial statement would be invalid once Michigan flips a 5 star or a high 4. But that doesn’t seem to happen very much.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:22 PM ^
Magnus, You like Cornelius Johnson as a potential big time type WR? Or just good talent in a weak football state? I'm no expert, but the dude looks solid!
December 18th, 2018 at 12:30 PM ^
That doesn't count because Michigan is a fiery bag of shit on Hell's doorstep. Didn't you get the memo?
December 18th, 2018 at 12:11 PM ^
Anthony Solomon called...
December 18th, 2018 at 12:20 PM ^
See above we also have any all five stars running for the hills. Not to be negative but I’m burnt out from the past month or so.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:54 PM ^
I thought you were just banned...
December 18th, 2018 at 1:02 PM ^
Seriously guy get the F out of here with that. Don’t know where your going with it but it’s not funny. You can look at my posting history all you want and it’s been mostly positive and appropriate so don’t try to throw me in some Shawn L Martin shit because you disagree with something I’ve said.
December 18th, 2018 at 1:25 PM ^
fuck off maizen

Cool hook em
December 18th, 2018 at 8:51 PM ^
I did look at your posts. It's a shitshow of negativity. It's the same trolling that you either think is funny or insightful. It's neither and you need a timeout.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:07 PM ^
I never understood why lower rated recruits don't wait until signing in February due to this possibility. Post December, teams can look to their plan B/C options and can try to flip them from MAC level or Rutgers/Indiana level teams.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:23 PM ^
Define "lower". It's all about risk tolerance, I suppose. A 3-star will usually jump on an offer from a desirable P5 school if it appears remotely committable.
December 18th, 2018 at 12:14 PM ^
What are you, a guy wearing a wizard hat selling snake oil?
December 18th, 2018 at 12:54 PM ^
Let's take some from little brother. That's always fun.
