Here is a picture of an adorable baby kissing an adorable puppy:

There. Now lighten the fuck up. Things will be OK*

*Unless UM football has become the college version of the Detroit Lions. Then things will never be OK again.

Trips always beat a pair, but only in poker. I logged on just to reply to your reply. Do strangers constantly stop you, give you wildly inappropriate advice, trips.jpg and try to touch them? I've come close to shanking a few old ladies.

Mine are six. Take this advice above any advice you will receive. Spend as much of the next 3 weeks as possible alone. Start this immediately. Sit in your car, hide in a closet, doesn’t fucking matter, just be alone. That is my gift to you. After they are born, you are fucked. I have no advice, just enjoy it when you can.

Well, most of them actually were on national TV given BTN is national.

As far as numbers, quality over quantity. It’s refreshing going to non-Football games and not having Hot Take Artist sitting behind me who calls our own players names when they make mistake.

Totally agree, this is pretty much what I hate about social media/internet.  In years past, stuff like  this (roster and recruiting) would happen and we just wouldn't know about it until the season was getting ready to kickoff.  Now everything is magnified because there is so much information.

That being said I hit F5 about 1000 times today so I'm part of the problem.

I lost my grandmother recently and my grandpa earlier in the year. I am thankful for the rest of my family. Real life reminds us that sports aren't everything, at least not all the time. I hope you all have your health.

Is it? They just went 10-2, and pretty much laid waste to a very difficult portion of their schedule that nearly all of us thought would include at least one loss before the season.

Negative stuff has happened the since the OSU game. I get it. But the reading of a poisonous program culture is entirely in reading between the lines that haven’t actually been written.

You're somewhat right about the negativity. I have to confess, I don't come here as much. And when I do, I come more for news, and less for reading the comments. When I came to mgoblog a dozen years, the vibe was different. It still is there some of the time (a positive fun vibe). I personally think there is still too much hubris in some quarters of the fan base. I also think there could be a lot more understanding of what it must be like to be a fan base of Purdue or Illinois or Minnesota or Nebraska. I mean, the reality is that Michigan is 10 - 2. I also just have been more and more convinced that the OL tanked from RichRod on, and has taken forever to rebuild. I think going forward, it is only going to be better, which will help tremendously. As for the transfer defections, it sucks, but as I've said in other threads, I'm not terribly surprised. I think, at the end of the day, Michigan will be ok. My only request, for those of you who live pretty permanently in the BPONE, is to remember this is a game. The number of fans whose whole perspective and attitude towards life is shaped by the vagaries of the football team is kind of sad. I look out my window, and the sun is shining, I'm losing weight, my daughter is coming home from the Navy, my high school kids are gradually coming out of the black pit of HS negativity, and I have a lot to be thankful for. Hope you do too.

I was thinking this the other day, and decided I should spend time doing other things because the negativityhere was starting to affect my outlook.  Following Michigan sports should be FUN; yes losing sucks, but for most of us, losses change nothing of substance in our lives.  I have lots to be thankful for as well.  Next week all my kids will be home and I get to spend my first grandson's first Christmas with him.  Everyday is a gift!

I live in Minneapolis. I follow the Golden Rodents, not a fan by any means, although I actually like Mr. Row The Boat.

It's pretty amusing to watch the "fans" here. The vast majority just don't care about Gopher football. I would freak out if that happened to Michigan. Say what you will, people care. Perhaps too much, and some (looking at you Maizen) love to point out the "problems". But I like the fact that us assholes care.
