Love the historical aspect of this project. How you determine winners/losers is completely immaterial to me. I will enjoy learning more about UM football history and wondering to myself which team I would select as the winner.
Wow.
Just watched the presser. That was a textbook example of "mailing it in." I agree, he didn't want to be a part of this event and it showed. Seven amazing years (give the devil his due) and he speaks for 80 seconds about his time at OSU.
I cannot stand Ohio State football, but I could have (and would have) given a more impassioned statement about all that has been accomplished during his tenure. 80 freakin' seconds. "Mama, that's a cold hearted man."
OSU might be better off in the long run.
Wow. Did you see The Game? Then again, I suppose there is a chance that Kate Upton will decide she can't live without me. So, good on you. There is a chance.
OSU understood that, with press coverage, you don't have to beat the defensive secondary. You just have to beat one man - and they found him early and often. Feel awful for Watson. He was in over his head today and there was no calvary coming to the rescue.
May the sun break through the scarlet and gray clouds in Columbus late this afternoon to reveal a blaze of Maize sunshine floating in a sky of Go Blue!
Nope. Always wake up at 4:30am and re-read all the double posts and threads about Chase on MGoBlog. And obsess about the weather in a place 600 miles away. Who doesn't start every day 3 hours before sunrise wondering if the defensive backs hydrated properly last night? If Shea has the right shoes for The Shoe? If Bench's mohawk is sufficiently spiked? Just another day in pre-game purgatory.
When I think I am losing perspective and over emphasizing the importance of The Game, I read about a player like Tyree who has invested a lifetime of effort and sacrifice to reach a moment such as this and I realize - it's way more important than I could ever imagine. Go Blue.
Wow. Don't usually think much of highlight videos, but this is stunning to watch at times. Would love to see that strength, speed and agility under a winged helmet next year.
is an excellent reminder (to me at least) that everyone who suits up for UM is incredibly special and one of a very select few. We need to celebrate them more for who they are off the field, and crticize them less for what happens on the field. Welcome, Kyle. You already have at least one new fan,
... all the angst about wins and losses for UM football. A great reminder that the players are people, not video game action figures, and the best result for them is not a great play, great game, great season, but a great life.
eliminated all the posts involving whining about other posts on this site, there would be very little left. I found the post to be one of the most enjoyable reads in a while. Who cares where it gets placed? Really?

Great stuff! Good luck with the process.
PS The '32 team would kick '97 to the curb.
Just watched the…
Good to be back. When did they add those bars across the front of the helmets? My face would have appreciated the protection.
Hunkering down to watch my Davidson Wildcats start another run to the Elite 8.
You are forgiven. Be at peace.

Go Grant. Go Blue.
I hear in my head when I think back on the UM games I watched as a kid.
Hail! to the victors valiant
Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes
Hail! Hail! to Michigan
The leaders and best!
It's been a long decade for Wolverine football, but I'm
still true to Blue. A lot to be thankful for. Have a good one today.
about that which does not exist.
...at least 1 or 2 plays from the Staae game next year. That absense was painful to re-live.

For using the word "obdurate" on a sports blog. Signs of intelligent life here. My day has gotten off to a good start.
to a good guy. Hope you will a championship somewhere next year.
