Maybe harbaugh but not don brown. Idk how bama would have known about brown and temple. I mean did we even hear anything about that before today? That seemed to be in the works recently.
December 13th, 2018 at 1:14 AM ^
Did a school tell a recruit Michigan is interested in that harbaugh was leaving for the NFL so he shouldn't go to Michigan?
I bet every single coach in a recruiting battle with Michigan tells the recruit that harbaugh is leaving for the NFL soon. Everybody seems to love circle jerking about the idea of Harbaugh going back to the NFL
December 12th, 2018 at 11:05 PM ^
Not to burst mine or anyones bubble, but for all we know he could just be using the same info that has been posted on this board earlier...
December 12th, 2018 at 11:12 PM ^
I know absolutely nothing insiderish. But I completely believe that Harbaugh staying makes a difference, and Washington as a lead recruiter makes a difference, AND YET, I think there is a lot more to this, more that we won't ever know. Recruiting is slimy, and Michigan is fighting to win. Michigan won't do "whatever it takes," but there are people fighting for Michigan who will do a lot more, stuff that stays private.

Time to fire up the Michigan money cannon. I’ve seen firsthand the cars Bama’s players drive. Michigan needs to start playing by the same rules. Yes, already likely do some stuff, but nowhere near the same level

Jim Hackett should start a program to provide paid quality control /product testing internships for cars and trucks to members of the team.

This kind of entrepreneurial foresight belies your status as a hillbilly and undermines your username. It is therefore reasonable to deduce that you are a fraud, so far as hillbillies are concerned.
December 13th, 2018 at 11:26 PM ^
You must not know many/any hillbillies then. No-one is better at working the system when properly motivated/have access to stuff. The issue is the motivation and the access are both...inconsistent.

Sam said on the radio yesterday, that when this is over he will tell us everything, and he guarantees it will make our jaws drop. He said no matter how it turns out, he will spill the beans. Can't wait.
December 13th, 2018 at 10:10 AM ^
That’s interesting
1)Saban is retiring at the end of the season and told The recruit that Jim Harbaugh would be signing on to be head coach at Bama whilst bringing his staff with him.
2) Saban told the recruit Jim is leaving for NFL just watch for the media reports and the next day urkel carter drops a big mouth poop on the same subject
Only one of these secenarios is facetious immature or developed while wearing a tin foil hat.
December 13th, 2018 at 8:45 AM ^
Like start a Saban to the Packers rumor?
December 12th, 2018 at 11:14 PM ^
Did anyone actually read this and determine he has a real reason for optimism or is it just general vagaries?
December 12th, 2018 at 11:17 PM ^
Here's the story Saban walked in and told him Harbaugh's leaving for the NFL, Don Brown is gonna coach Temple, Michigan cant beat OSU and gave him a bunch of money.
Did I miss anything?

But did he say "fuck Michigan," that's when we know we have him right where we want him
December 13th, 2018 at 12:06 AM ^
At least he didn't say "Funk Michigan". That would have been brutal. Can't live through an O-line like that again.
December 13th, 2018 at 10:12 AM ^
Maybe they cut Aubrey’s tape short and he really said “fuck Michigan sTATE!”
December 12th, 2018 at 11:19 PM ^
this is all dumb as hell but keep the posts coming, please
December 12th, 2018 at 11:20 PM ^
Ugh I just need Dax to have one video leaked of him saying "Fuck Michigan" then I can rest easy knowing he'll be in Ann Arbor soon
December 12th, 2018 at 11:27 PM ^

I told you guys on the decommit thread don't sleep on Dax. He comes from an excellent family and is a perfect M fit. That being said don't freak out if he goes elsewhere. Such is recruiting.

Crootin' make me sleepy.
December 13th, 2018 at 9:02 AM ^
That’s great insight, “don’t be surprised if comes here, but also don’t be surprised if he doesn’t”. I’ll make sure and do that at the end of his recruitment.

ok, but did anyone read the paywalled article linked to the tweet. i would like to read it without buying a yearlong sub
December 12th, 2018 at 11:56 PM ^
Sadly, I wouldn't give this saga two seconds of thought if we would've beaten OSU. Now I want any kind of good news.
December 13th, 2018 at 1:10 AM ^
OUR CHECK CLEARED!!!!!!!
Apparently Alabama is trying to flip OSU Safety commit Jordan Battle which is suggestive that Dax is coming back to UM. This could also be why that OSU insider put in a Michigan crystal ball for Dax
What a fucking head scratching turn of events. If Dax flips back to Michigan within a week of Flipping to Bama then this will be even more absurd than Solomons Fuck Michigan incident
December 13th, 2018 at 10:21 AM ^
Devils advocate: Or they could want two five star safety’s and are in a position to take both I’m sure if Dax and Lewis Cine wanted to commit to M Jim would find room for both
December 13th, 2018 at 1:22 AM ^
Slightly offtopic but I just went to TideFans alabama football board to see if they were saying anything about this Dax flipping back to Michigan thing and the top post on their board was arguing that Alabama and Nick Saban put more of an emphasis on education than basically every university not named Stanford. FUCKING WOW. How delusional can they get

December 13th, 2018 at 6:00 AM ^
Dax you know you have a clear path to starting on day one at UofM. Alabama has a logjam.
December 13th, 2018 at 10:54 AM ^
I wish that were true.
But IIRC, listening to Sam Webb sometime this summer on WTKA, he said that the hard part about this PARTICULAR recruitment is that if there is one plausible hole that Alabama actually has right now, it's at Safety.
So yes, one major trump card Michigan can USUALLY play against Alabama for top recruits is that with Michigan, there is a clearer to path to early playing time. But at least as of August, that is not necessarily the case for this one.
Now, maybe as the 2018 season unfolded, Alabama has found their answer at Safety for the next 1-2 years. So it's possible circumstances have changed & we can still play that card. But as of August, that was not really the case.
