They're about the same thing though... it's like people posting 2 different stories that Rashan Gary is declaring for the draft, but claiming they're different because they're different sources
November 26th, 2018 at 3:36 PM ^
Rashan posted that himself sooo not the same
November 26th, 2018 at 7:18 PM ^
It's called an analogy, bud
November 27th, 2018 at 9:08 AM ^
I think you're confused
November 26th, 2018 at 2:00 PM ^
If it's Harrison is there any way he can suit up last Saturday?
November 26th, 2018 at 3:01 PM ^
Can he cover a shallow crossing route? If not, then it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway...
November 26th, 2018 at 2:02 PM ^
My guess is it's not Zach Harrison.
November 26th, 2018 at 3:21 PM ^
That’s a good guess
November 26th, 2018 at 2:10 PM ^
FWIW: Crouch just started following Harrison on twitter.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:14 PM ^
Hmm they must be goin to Clemson then...
November 26th, 2018 at 2:15 PM ^
Great, so they're both going to Clemson?
November 26th, 2018 at 2:24 PM ^
When the tide is turned on OSU (next year?), all of the players on that team will be enshrined on Michigan's version of Mount Rushmore. Multiple wins in a row will keep them in post playing speaking engagements for the rest of their lives.
We lose Gary, Winovich, Mone, Lawrence and probably Bush, and one of Long or Hill, but with this recruiting class, and the guys in the wings (no pun intended) we might be just as good or better. I'm assuming Gary and Winovich were hurt and losing Bush in the middle of the game didn't help at all. I don't think we'll ever find out but there had to be a reason our D didn't get the job done at OSU. Something like Devin Gardner's broken foot or Speight's shoulder. MLive published an article that said even after the OSU game our defense was #1. Not a great consolation, but something was off.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:52 PM ^
Hard to say if the Defense was off. Lot's of guys hurt or playing through things at this point in the season. I think the sacks were off because #7 did not hold on to the ball long. He zipped through progressions and was able to connect on quick releases knowing the UM defender was tail-piping the WR. #7 knew if it was a crossing route, middle hook or pivot route and got the ball out fast. Hard to get sacks or even coverage sacks when the QB is not waiting for a play to develop downfield. There were 4-5 options on every play for #7 and he did not have to go past #3 at all if ever during the game. That makes it hard for a DE or twisting DT or stunt from the LB(s) to get home.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:54 PM ^
Kinnel too.
November 26th, 2018 at 3:55 PM ^
I don’t see how this defense maintains its level if they lose Hill or Long, let alone both. Ambry couldn’t even see the field Saturday after Watson was clearly getting torched.
November 26th, 2018 at 4:37 PM ^
Yeah, Ambry might become a great player for us, but it didn't seem like a good sign when he wasn't brought in to replace Watson.
November 26th, 2018 at 5:16 PM ^
I'm not sure I care what the sign was on Ambry Thomas in a man fucking coverage scheme. Ambry is almost or is the fastest guy on the team on his top end. That means he's running with those receivers better than Watson. There's no maybe about it. Ambry might or doesn't know all of the defense yet or isn't an ass kisser to certain coaches but he still is better than Watson in that game because he's way faster. You can take your technique status and shove it up your ass tooif you're taking the coaches side on this. You'll hear that Ambry is still raw and his technique is terrible. Well, if it was any worse than what kept happening on Saturday then I would shutup but I'd be hard pressed to believe it. This staff needs to start playing their younger talent that has better speed. If they aren't descent in their technique and knowledge of the defense in year two, THEN THATS ON THE COACHES. Plain and simple. Watch, Ambry will be out there next year and we'll all be wondering why the fuck wasn't he playing last year.
November 26th, 2018 at 5:11 PM ^
If MSU can have an elite defense without all the talent we have then Don Brown should have no issue making Michigan elite even if they lose a bunch of guys
Might be time for Don Brown to rethink his defensive scheme considering we get torched every time we face a good offense
November 26th, 2018 at 2:19 PM ^
Has to be Dewand Jones the big OL. I wonder if that means Keegan is going somewhere else.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:22 PM ^
I keep hearing mixed thoughts on Keegan. Some think Michigan is his leader, and others think Georgia is.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:27 PM ^
His commitment has seemed to be a little mysterious.
Do you think the staff sees Dawand Jones as a replacement for JBB? Big big road grading RT
November 26th, 2018 at 2:29 PM ^
I think we're aiming low if we're trying to find a replica of JBB. So I sure hope not.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:38 PM ^
Exactly Magnus! Look at what we have at the tackle positions right now. Now everyone start to understand we need a whole heck of a lot better. That includes proper depth!
November 26th, 2018 at 2:48 PM ^
But...but... James Yoder promised Jaylen Mayfield would be starting before the end of the season!
November 26th, 2018 at 2:52 PM ^
Well Jaylen is the type of athlete needed on the line so I will continue to take more of him.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:57 PM ^
Could still be right if Mayfield starts in the bowl game.
November 26th, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
Don't be a dick, Magnus.
JBB did more for this team than you ever did.
November 26th, 2018 at 10:47 PM ^
Remove the ND game and JBB has been what we need at RT, no?
November 27th, 2018 at 10:33 PM ^
And the ND was mostly Runyan on the oline downfall.
November 27th, 2018 at 10:33 PM ^
And the ND game was mostly Runyan on the oline downfall.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:39 PM ^
Hadn't followed the Keegan updates too closely and didn't realize Georgia was the other school he was considering. I'm assuming Georgia will make sure he is in their class. On to the next option for Michigan.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:20 PM ^
If Harrison commits to us after Saturday's pant-crapping, he's a resolute young man.
I hope we hang on to guys like Daxson Hill after that shitshow—have to believe that Alabama and Clemson are saying to him "why play for those pretenders in Ann Arbor—come here and play for real champions."
November 26th, 2018 at 2:20 PM ^
What is the latest on Zach Harrison? Heard he was waiting until later in December.
November 26th, 2018 at 3:05 PM ^
he visited osu last week and is still "torn" according to analysts
November 26th, 2018 at 2:29 PM ^
Did anyone commit from the earlier commit watch ??
November 26th, 2018 at 2:31 PM ^
Per Brandon Brown it's not Harrison.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:41 PM ^
Where'd you see this? I just checked his twitter and there was no mention other than a "thinking emoji" and a second tweet that said "I may end up being pretty wrong on this one." I don't see any mention of Harrison but I could have missed it.
November 26th, 2018 at 3:01 PM ^
A post he made on the The Fort.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:32 PM ^
It would be smart if the mods kept just one of the Kingsbury OC thread up so people stop posting. Expecting people not to post that when they don't see it on the board is dumb, no?
November 26th, 2018 at 2:52 PM ^
Yes, agreed. They keep deleting because they say it has been posted but there is literally no Kingsbury post left on the board.
November 26th, 2018 at 3:08 PM ^
https://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/offensive-philosophy-keep-it-same-or-move-…
Not the same as a Kliff Kingsbury only thread, but a pretty good discussion about scheme and Kingsbury was talked about. There's also a Jedd Fisch diary post which should be on the board, but I left it up so people can talk about Fisch if they want. It isn't like all content about possible coaching changes have been deleted.
November 26th, 2018 at 3:36 PM ^
Fair enough. I just maybe thought keeping one of the kingsbury threads would have been better since many people have created specific threads about him. But I digress...
November 26th, 2018 at 4:12 PM ^
Jim Harbaugh running a Kliff Kingsbury offense?
Not. Gonna. Happen.
November 26th, 2018 at 4:20 PM ^
It should be Kliff Klingsbury running a Kliff Kingsbury offense. Jim should let the coordinators handle play calling and leave it at that.
November 26th, 2018 at 2:39 PM ^
Harrison is supposed to announce around December 14th
November 26th, 2018 at 2:42 PM ^
per who?
November 26th, 2018 at 3:30 PM ^
It was in a thread earlier this month that stated it was around December 14th was when he planned to announce.
Obviously this could of changed or what not....
November 26th, 2018 at 2:41 PM ^
I think it is crouch. Giles Jackson said it was a 2019 on twitter. Dont think its harrison bc I saw an article saying frames janklin was doing an in-home with him. Dawand Jones and Keegan have decision dates for december. It's been a quiet month for WR targets and Deloach just did an in-home with Taggart. Harbaugh will see deloach this week tho.
November 26th, 2018 at 4:08 PM ^
It's not. He's announcing in January
