Amen to that.
Edit: Meant for Walters post above.

19 points in the first 3 quarters and 20 came in garbage time. 7 points was gifted by a KR muff that put them in a great field position. Michigan offense didn't come to play at all

Offense wins in today's game. Defense got smoked and badly. No analysis needed.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:15 PM ^
Maybe I missed it, but didn’t look like we blitzed very often and stuck with a 4 man rush to no effect.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:40 PM ^
I found this puzzling as well. Pretty clear by halftime that the DL wasn't getting home and as a result Haskins was picking us apart. Where were the blitzes? Yeah maybe Haskins gashes us for a bunch of yards anyway, but at least you throw some chaos in there and maybe get a turnover.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:15 PM ^
Hahahahahaha!!!!
November 24th, 2018 at 4:16 PM ^
My God the horror.
Urban is a great coach and a really intelligent guy even if hes a piece of shit
November 24th, 2018 at 4:16 PM ^
Defense? Never heard of her. Michigan got what they deserved.
I knew Haskins would expose UM, he's Elite. What sucks is Michigan won't even make the rose bowl. This was a program defining loss. BPONE forever.
November 24th, 2018 at 6:36 PM ^
Haskins is good, but isn't that good. He has great receivers and had all time to throw to them today. He actually overthrew a lot of passes. But he had way too many opportunities to throw and our coverage largely sucked. I don't think he'll be that good of a pro QB actually. We just made him look really good.
November 24th, 2018 at 9:15 PM ^
If you don't think he's that good, then why are NFL scouts are salivating for Haskins? He's being projected to be either the 1st or 2nd QB off the draft board which means top 10-15 pick. If he's not that good, then he wouldn't be mentioned as a potential top 10 pick
November 24th, 2018 at 10:23 PM ^
Haskins is definitely great
He makes the passes he needs to. He leads he WR which is why OSU gets big plays consistently. He doesn't underthrow like Shea which kills YAC.
In terms of accuracy in CFB its 1. Tua 2.Haskins
November 24th, 2018 at 4:16 PM ^
There is a reason Don Brown was still coaching at BC as an old man.
November 24th, 2018 at 5:35 PM ^
Don Brown did not play a down, did not fail to get past the OSU o-line and did not make Watson a step slower than the OSU receivers.
November 24th, 2018 at 6:06 PM ^
He also did not call one corner blitz or anything of the sort. Perhaps as vanilla an effort as I’ve ever seen, especially given how poor the original plans were working.

Gary has been the most overrated player we have ever had. Derrick Green is now off the hook.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:16 PM ^
This scheme is a joy to watch when it works. But I am going to quit thinking we have the best defense in the country every year until it once holds Ohio State under 30 points. Of course, if we had done that today, we would have won....
November 24th, 2018 at 5:58 PM ^
What are you smoking and can I have some?
November 24th, 2018 at 4:16 PM ^
Fred Claus was a better choice. Wish i turned it on sooner.
November 25th, 2018 at 12:42 PM ^
Dodgeball was on MTV. That was my choice in the third quarter. Was nice to see a plucky group of misfits take on a much more talented team and win.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:16 PM ^
Don't think any team will be rushing to poach our DC this offseason.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:17 PM ^
Not an elite defense.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:17 PM ^
Defense couldn't get pressure, couldn't get stops. Complain about the offense all you want but in my view this one was on the D.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:50 PM ^
Agree. You tell me this morning that we score 39 in a non overtime game and I assume we win 95% of the time. Especially if our drives eat clock, 39 would be nearly impossible to overcome.
Our DL was atrocious and it exposed our already weak LB/safety in coverage weakness even more. ZERO pressure. Superior slot WR athlete types also exacerbated the issue.
Part of it was no Solomon, maybe part of it was no hold calls called against OSU’s OL. But getting zero push on the interior gave Haskins all day, and that was deadly.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:17 PM ^
A complete disaster. Brown was humiliated. Again.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:18 PM ^
This game was exactly like the Indiana game, except the opponent had more talent on offense. I know the score is an anomaly, unlikely to happen every year, but it's very disheartening that we were gashed in the exact same way by the exact same plays two games in a row.
We play Ohio State next year, too. Do we make no changes and just hope this doesn't happen again, do the coaches wake up and make meaningful adjustments, or do we get a new assistant or two to reinvigorate the defense?
November 24th, 2018 at 4:31 PM ^
Honestly, this game was just a continuation of the game last year after Haskins entered. Michigan never really stopped Ohio State last year either.
From the first drive today, Ohio State did the same things and Michigan was unable to cope all day long.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:18 PM ^
What was the deal with our dline??? ZERO pressure all day. Like.... none. Our coverage was good enough if we could have gotten to Haskins.... but they were stonewalled. All. Day.
November 24th, 2018 at 7:16 PM ^
Idk, it honestly seemed like they were trying to stay in their rushing lanes to prevent Haskins from scrambling? I have no clue. It honestly didn't even look they were attempting to get to the QB most of the time
November 24th, 2018 at 4:18 PM ^
So much for our vaunted defense! No pressure and no apparent adjustments to change it at halftime. Hung our man coverage out to dry. Fucking disgrace!
November 24th, 2018 at 4:19 PM ^
This is the most surprising result since Brown’s arrival.
Peps offense is boring and predictable (and needs a fresh mind in the passing game), but the defense deserves the blame today.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:19 PM ^
Fire On Brown. No D
November 24th, 2018 at 4:19 PM ^

November 24th, 2018 at 4:21 PM ^
I never want to hear "revenge tour" again as long as I live. There is no other game that matters at this school. If you can't beat OSU, who cares about the others?
I'm glad there's a bowl game because of the extra practices, but I have no interest in seeing it.
You can never have enough healthy defensive linemen. Can't play man-to-man against real receivers without pressure on the QB.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:22 PM ^
We have nothing to look forward to. This is where we are and probably where we will stay. Good but not elite.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:22 PM ^
DTs aren’t very good. Rashan Gary is unfortunately just a guy.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:39 PM ^
You will get negged for this, but honestly, the proof is in the pudding. Big games are where legends can be made (or very much not, in the other direction).
No difference makers in this game on D. Shitty way for some of these guys to end their career here.
November 24th, 2018 at 11:40 PM ^
John Anderson, former UM LB who hit OSU QB to force the QB fumble in '77 win (when Woody, in response, punched the ABC camera guy), will have twice the length of NFL career than Rashan.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:22 PM ^
This is what happens when athletes overpower a specific scheme. Defense was overrated by beating bad teams or hurt QBs all season.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:23 PM ^
DTs aren’t very good. Rashan Gary is unfortunately just a guy.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:42 PM ^
I tend to trust in our players, but i never really got the hype with Gary outside of the athleticism. I hope he has good nfl career though
November 24th, 2018 at 4:23 PM ^
BPONE?
Hey Brian, let's make up new cute acronyms for how bad we suck.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:24 PM ^
Let's face it, Don Brown is a one trick pony. For most of his 3 years here he has had the benefit of lining up his players against sorry QBs. In the games against good teams, the defense has never had a dominant performance, and often disappears completely. Hell, couldn't even stop Iowa from marching down the field for a game winning FG in 2016. He had one decent performance against OSU in 2016, but the defense faded late in the 4th Q and OT. Other than that, nothing. Remember how Florida State overwhelmed them in the 1st Q, and then when Michigan somehow took the lead late, his defense immediately folded.
No pass rush today. Watson got exposed big-time. Whole defense was too slow for OSU. They ran simple plays and just chewed up Michigan. Hudson was invisible. Gary had another unremarkable performance.
November 25th, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
Ill be 100% honest. I fogrot Hudson was even playing today. Seriously.
We shouldve been playing a 3 man line all game and took whatever they ran for. 5 DBs and linebackers protect the middle of the field. Honestly 2 DTS were absolutely useless today. Winovich, Uche, Gary, Thomas and Ross out there for most every play. If we dont recruit speed this will be the game every year. It wont change. If you gave our coaches the power of hindsight we would sill lose by 2 TDS.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:24 PM ^
So 62 is not only the most by osu in the history of the rivalry, but also the most points we've ever given up in a regulation game?! Double ugh.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:30 PM ^
It's also 1 more point than the men's basketball team has given up in any of their 6 games this season.
November 24th, 2018 at 4:24 PM ^
DL never showed up
