The Game predictions.

24-13 Michigan. Michigan will win the time of possession battle. Ohio State will hit some big passing plays, but will fail to find rhythm on offense. 1st downs will come at a premium for Ohio State. Ben Mason, Shea Patterson and Peoples-Jones with TDs. This is Urban Meyers last time coaching at Ohio Stadium.

24-20 OSU

I've been conditioned over the past 20 years to expect the worst from this game.  I'll believe we can win at Columbus when I see it.

Hoping for a reverse jinx.

My head says OSU because of the last 15 years and the game bring played on the road vs a top 10 team. Valid reasons.

My heart says we were a QB away the last 2 seasons. We have that QB now and coaches capable of devising an excellent game plan.

My hunch lies somewhere in between. Michigan wins an excruciatingly close game and I lose at least 4 weeks off my life expectancy.

I think your head and heart are the opposite of mine. In my head, and I think any rational non-Michigan fan's head as well, Michigan should win this game. One of the most stingy defenses in the country and an offense that is tracking to be well above average against a team that has a brutal loss to Purdue and has looked extremely beatable against far less superior teams.

My heart, or stomach, not sure after Thanksgiving, just won't let me go there yet. After all of the unexplainable events of the past decade and OSU just seemingly to always have our number in recent memory, I'm exponentially more nervous about this game than I should.

I think Michigan wins tomorrow, but I won't be comfortable until the clock hits double zeros and the teams celebrating at midfield of Ohio Stadium.

42 - 0.  Michigan not only crushes the buckeyes, it exorcises the last 20 miserable years' results.  No longer are we discussing a period of bad results, but the ushering in of a new era of UM dominance.  Every discussion about multiple wins is retorted with, yeah, but you got shut out in the Shoe.

My boring "objective" side says Michigan has some weaknesses on defense that will give OSU an opportunity to put up some points, and that Michigan's offense will make some mental errors that result in blown opportunities. Game is closer than it should be and is decided on the final drive. 35-31, someone.

My fan slappy side says Brown is going to have a masterful gameplan as he did in 16, virtually shutting out OSU while it matters, and that Harbaugh and Pep will have another brilliant gameplan as they did last year only this time we have the players who can execute it, and it's a bloodbath as OSU can't defend anyone, and the game is over by the start of the 4th quarter. 41-17 Michigan. Urban retires on the spot and walks out to the parking lot.

I don’t want to believe, because the bpone is strong in me. And the dastardly puppeteer who orchestrates these things wants me to believe, wants me to have hope, wants to play with that hope as his audience of gods gasps as I, their mortal protagonist in their Greek tragedy, walks ironically into the doomed abyss of this hope.

Well fuck you, Jobu. I will not give you the satisfaction of crushing my hope once again. I will not play my part in your twisted drama. I will remain in my Bpone, and there is nothing your sick, twisted, sadistic mind and omnipotence can do to pull me out.

OSU x+1

34-17 Michigan!  This is it, this is that time.  We're about to witness The Resurrection after 14-years of being in the wilderness, the blast wave of Focus, Desire and Execution unleashed on Ohio State with indomitable character and profound cruelty.  What Coach Harbaugh has been building over the past 4-years fully blooms in a dominant win that not only completes the Revenge Tour, but unequivocally establishes that Michigan is back as a national powerhouse and here to stay.  This is Michigan!  Go Blue!

I could see this game going many ways. My gut tells me that OSU will jump out to a 14-0 lead.  Then we exchange FGs to be down 17-3.  We score late in the first half to make it 17-10.

OSU scores a TD in the 3rd Q to make it 24-10.  We score to cut it to 24-17 and then again to tie the game early in the 4th.  Brown's adjustments are now working and our OL is starting to assert itself.  We exchange possessions and have a 4 down stand to take over with less than 2 minutes left.  We drive the ball down the field and Moody hits a FG with 33 seconds left to give Michigan its first lead.

OSU gets the ball and starts driving in desperation, however Josh Uche shoots a gap and puts pressure on Haskins causing him to overthrow the ball in to the arms of Josh Mettellus who secures the game and victory, 27-24.  Both Coach Brown and Coach Harbaugh are carried off of the frozen tundra in Columbus in victory.

I don't know, man. On paper, Michigan should win this game. They've been playing far better and looked like a far more complete team for the better part of two months. If this game was in Ann Arbor, I'd feel comfortable picking Michigan to win. But this game isn't played on paper. And its in Columbus, where we haven't won since most of these players were in diapers or swaddling clothes.

OSU just has a massive psychological advantage in this rivalry. They've dominated for so long that they believe that no matter how bad the first 2-3 quarters of the game go, they will still find a way to win. That's what they've done all year. Played like shit and still have found ways to win. They're not going to be phased by anything, even if we go up by a score or two. Add in Meyer's absolute dominance in rivalry games over the course of his career. Michigan can't afford a slow start in this game.

All I really know is its going to take our best game to win, and that no matter what happens, the outcome won't surprise me. If we win, it'll make perfect sense because we've just played better almost the entire year. We've looked better, we're motivated, pissed and out for blood, every adjective you want to throw out there. If we manage to blow them out, it wouldn't surprise me because OSU has been playing with fire against far lesser teams all year. And it seems like with most any team that consistently plays like that, when they come up against a top team they get their asses whipped and laid bare for all to see. If this was any team other than OSU, I may even feel comfortable predicting a blowout.

But if we lose, that also won't surprise me, either. Because of Meyer's track record in rivalry games, because its on their turf, and because it seems like no matter what, Michigan always puts itself in bad situations in this game. I know every year is different, but my god, if Michigan ever shoots itself in the foot in one particular game ever year, it's ALWAYS against OSU. For the last 10 years, I've walked into this game wondering either a) how much we're going to lose by, or b) if we do manage to keep it close, how are we going to blow it? Until I see us beat a good OSU team, I'm never going to shake the feeling where I'm just waiting to see how Michigan finds a new way to beat itself in this game.

This one's going to be close. Something like 28-24. Who wins? No frickin' idea. My heart says Michigan because we're just playing better and we're so far overdue for a win. But my head reminds me that the world is cruel and unforgiving, and the better team doesn't always win. Sometimes, life just kicks you in the nuts for no reason other than because it can.

I just want this one so badly for our players. They're overdue. The entire damn program is overdue. But fate may have yet another crushing defeat waiting for us, and it would in no way surprise me.

It's hard not to when you've had your heart ripped out by these guys 15 of the last 17 years. Like it or not, they've had our number.

There are a lot of reasons Michigan can win tomorrow. Everything on paper says Michigan should win. But I wouldn't at all be shocked if they lost because that's just what's happened over the last 17 years. It's some turnover at the worst possible time, a stupid penalty, a missed call, something always, ALWAYS happens.

I hope this year is different. This year's team makes me think that if it were ever to be different, this is the year for it. But I don't know, man. I just don't know.

Just want to make it to ~ 3:30 EST tomorrow afternoon and see the final score reflecting that Michigan has more points. Don't care how ugly the game is or what Harbaugh has to do to get there.

34 - 27 Michigan.

Michigan defense gives up a season high in points because OSU has the best offense we've seen. BUT, Michigan beats the spread because revenge tour.

31-17 Michigan, Michigan takes a 21-17 lead at half then the Don takes over. Michigan controls the clock and kicks a late FG to put the game out of reach. Go Blue! Turn the tables fellas.

This game will be a blood pressure cooker for me. It will likely be a close game, winner by 5 or less points.

Osu plays their best game of the year. Cross routes all over the field and frustrating 3rd and forever longs keep drives alive. The game is in Columbus and damn I just envision osu having the game of their year

For all that is holly let me be wrong but if I had to bet $10,000 I’d say...

34-27 osu

Yet my heart...oh my Michigan loving  heart is saying....

24-17 Michigan

i could see the game being lower scoring than many predict and being one of those 0-0 games in the 1st Q.

Perfect storm of revenge and a focused, well prepped team facing a disjointed squad with a one-dimensional offense (not a good formula against Don Brown).

This is Harbaugh's "What's your deal game", here at UM.  We crush their will slowly and the cracks in foundation cause the building to crumble.

UM 42  OSU 13

I think our best shot it to limit OSU to field goals when they get in the red zone.  OSU will move the ball and they will put up some points, but if we can limit them to field goals we and hold them to under 21 points I think we've got a good shot.

Our offense will need to score close to 30 for me to feel comfortable.  My prediction is OSU 20 Michigan 27.

Michigan wins with ease. This team when focused and motivated is a monster. Defense will be ready Winovich plays. Haskins is sacked 7 times. Patterson isn't at all. Michigan Controls TOP by almost 40-20 similar to State and sucks the life out of them.

Higdon struggles but it's Evans who makes Ohio State look bad.

Michigan 31-OSU 20

I went into the 2016 game expecting a very close win (3 points or less). We outplayed them but made the critical mistakes that turns a close game.

This year, we are much better on offense. The line is better, we have a better RB, and more deep threats through the air. Not to mention our QB is significantly better. On defense, we are pretty damn close to what we were in 16. The only position group that was definitely better then was the DTs.

OSU is much worse than they were in 16. They do not have players like Bosa, Hubbard, McMillan, Ward, Conley, Hooker on D. They don’t have the run threat Barrett brought their offense and Dobbins is no Samuel.

When you break it down, there is no reason to believe we lose this game just based on personnel. However, it’s been 18 years since we won there. There is the ref factor, and the psychological factor. This team is different however. This is the first time i would say since 2004 we have the better team going into Columbus. Revenge Tour continues. We win. I am confident

Michigan is the better team this year.  We should win.

Nothing would make me happier than running out to an early lead and never looking back.  However, best case, I think it lower scoring and close at the half with Michigan wearing them down to grind out a win in the 2nd half by more than a TD.  What offensive success OSU has all game will happen mostly in 1st half before Don Brown adjusts to take it away.  We've seen this script several times already this year.

I would rather get into with a land war in Asia than get into a high scoring shoot out with this OSU team.

Watching the Nebraska - Iowa game, a well known name in Michigan recent history came up.

John O'Neill, famous for his pat on the butt of Mike Weber and other more important officiating "decisions" in THE GAME two years ago, is working this game today.

Hopefully this means that he won't be available tomorrow and maybe the stars will align without, help from the officiating crew  ;o)

I don't care about previous years. I don't give a shit about urban liars record.

This year is different. This team has all the right pieces in place. These guys are on a mission to destroy.

Michigan dominates and wins.
