Isaiah Hole via Twitter: Harbaugh says: "Things are progressing well with Chase. X-rays were negative here at the stadium. Took him to the hospital as well. (Tests) came out negative."

Hope he is ok. I pray Berkley Edwards is ok.

Since 2016? Lmao and we're right back here two years later. But this time we're gonna finish what we started. Ohio State football dies on Saturday. They've been walking wounded for all year and we're putting them out of their misery
November 18th, 2018 at 7:56 AM ^
I said "for the direction of the program." The Game this year is much bigger for the direction of the program than 2016 or 2006.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:47 PM ^
Disagree wholeheartedly. The winner of that 2006 game was playing for a national title. objectively a bigger game.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
respectively disagree your disagree
meyer, all the off season stuff, team potentially in transition, the outcome of next week could ripple behind big ten, playoffs and this season
November 17th, 2018 at 9:13 PM ^
Except the winner of the 2006 game did not win the national title.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:37 PM ^
We have four more games ahead of us. Sounds like he'll be back for the stretch run.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:37 PM ^
The thought of Chase not being able to play next week makes me sick. Hopefully he can be out there even if limited
November 17th, 2018 at 8:37 PM ^
Baumgardner tweet: Asked if he’s optimistic if he’ll have Chase Winovich next week, Harbaugh says he doesn’t know yet.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:31 PM ^
Honestly as encouraging as it could be with Chase given he is such a high motor guy did not come back onto field from the locker room tonight. One of our favorite players ever and that is really saying something as I have always thought very highly of a so many of our players over the years.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:40 PM ^
Glad to hear Chase appears to be okay. Hoping for the same for Berkeley. That looked really bad.
Got to remember sometimes that these are just kids, and it’s just a game. Really hope Berkeley is going to be okay.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:58 PM ^
I’m 43, Chase is thrice the man I am... the man we all are, actually. (You too mgobetties)
November 17th, 2018 at 8:40 PM ^
Can Ignaz suit up at DE next week? Fuck Ohio
November 17th, 2018 at 8:41 PM ^
Anything out there on Solomon?
November 17th, 2018 at 8:44 PM ^
Never even saw him get hurt. Maybe just needed some fluids after being out sick hopefully. Our DTs had a rough game. Hope he's ok.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:41 PM ^
So, medical peeps ... What are we looking at here? An AC Joint deal like Gary? Something like a labrum injury? Stinger? I assume the X-ray only rules out broken/fractured bones. I think he was hurt before he even hit the ground. He just laid on the ground motionless, before the guy even jumped on him. It was a weird play.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:27 PM ^
Xray generally will see AC joint separation (AKA shoulder separation). Labrum tear would need MRI
November 17th, 2018 at 10:01 PM ^
What about ribs?
November 18th, 2018 at 12:36 AM ^
Plain Xrays are not great at detecting rib fractures. CT scan will pick up rib fractures.
November 18th, 2018 at 4:34 AM ^
That’s what I thought as well. Bruised ribs it sounds like. Or his arm got “jammed” as he braces himself falling.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:42 PM ^
Amen, and Berkley Edwards appears to be ok as well. Good news indeed
November 17th, 2018 at 8:43 PM ^
Praise the lord. We need Chase to finish captaining the Revenge Tour
November 17th, 2018 at 8:45 PM ^
Any word on Solomon ?
edit: Oops, I was a few replies too late
November 17th, 2018 at 8:45 PM ^
confirmed: Harbaugh made a deal with the devil. We’re winning the natty this year boys.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:30 PM ^
no way. Satan is a buckeye...
November 17th, 2018 at 8:48 PM ^
Not to be be negative nancy, but its ''The Game'' week. Do you think Harbaugh is going to come out and say "It's over for Chase. He suffered season ending injuries".
Of course not.
We won't hear a lick out of this injury until 1 minute before kickoff next Saturday.
Coach is gonna make Urban prep like Chase is playing.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:23 PM ^
Yeah, this thought occurred to me too. I hope this is wrong, but it's going to be hard to feel good about Winovich until we see him on the field.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:42 PM ^
I don’t think he would do this if he knew Chase was out for the season and might want to take something up with league about the officiating. Not to mention, to say this without knowing (or knowing it not to be true) would mean telling an outright lie (rather than saying he doesn’t know), and we all know that liars never win.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:10 PM ^
Not to be a Permit Patty, but your lack of an apostrophe in contracting “it is” is totally against the rules. You need the correct “it’s” because The Game doesn’t own itself. Also, you don’t need quotes around The Game, so, like...I already called the grammar police.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
Great to hear. Love that MI Stadium also has the equipment and setup to be able to make early diagnoses rather than having to scramble to find someplace that does.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:00 PM ^
Looking at you Purdue
November 17th, 2018 at 8:57 PM ^
Fuck Indiana. Those cheap shot bastards.
November 17th, 2018 at 8:57 PM ^
BEST NEWS OF THE DAY!
November 17th, 2018 at 9:07 PM ^
Phew. His career at Michigan cannot end that way.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:10 PM ^
Good news indeed on the X-rays.
Hopefully, we get some more specifics later. If possible, I really would like to see him get a shot at finishing out the Revenge Tour.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:29 PM ^
Don’t have a link but Chase just retweeted someone tagging him in an Undertaker coming out of the casket gif on twitter about an hour ago. So maybe that’s good news?
November 17th, 2018 at 10:21 PM ^
And Chase retweeted it

Some lucky guy out there has her.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:20 PM ^
She's 47 FYI. NTTAWWT.
November 17th, 2018 at 11:23 PM ^
The picture is from 2007 or 2008. If she was a senior then, and I think she was, she'd be in her early thirties now.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:24 AM ^
and likely still looking pretty good even with a couple kids under her belt
November 18th, 2018 at 10:44 AM ^
And some guy out there probably finds something about her really annoying.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:46 PM ^
Hell yeah!! I knew he was made of Adamantium!
November 17th, 2018 at 9:49 PM ^
Of course I hope Chase is OK and at full strength, but I think our only indispensable player is Shea. D-line depth is great and there was little drop-off with Gary out.
November 18th, 2018 at 1:15 AM ^
The injury to Winovich is unfortunate. But, stop with the whining about a “dirty” play. Football is a violent game and this was a violent play. All linemen are taught to continue blocking to the whistle. Chase is one of our best players and draws particular attention.
Its unfortunate that he was injured (almost certainly) before the second hit, but taking him out of the play is not dirty.
To all of you who have not played football, if you think that every player, offense and defense, is not trying to lay the hardest hit possible on each and every play, to hurt the opponent, you are mistaken. Not cause and injury, but hurt.
November 18th, 2018 at 1:43 AM ^
Usually the OLineman would just keep pushing him down with his hands in that case since he was already down and he didn't pancake him. Throwing your whole body weight on him when he's down and away from the play is just a dirty hit.
November 18th, 2018 at 7:43 AM ^
Do they really teach players to launch into someone that is already on the ground? I was on 11w and they had a thread rejoicing Chase's injury. Blu.fan stated it was dirty and everyone had the same response you said about it being legal...
Hitting someone already on the ground is a dirty hit and should have been called. That idiot that hit Edwards for no damn reason might have thought twice.
November 18th, 2018 at 2:17 AM ^
So about that whole ban Stepaniak thing https://twitter.com/TheDailyBail/status/1064036311647043584
November 18th, 2018 at 4:38 AM ^
Also saw that. Anytime you play on the edge like chase does guys come at your harder. He’ll be fine.
