IF that happens, that would be epic.

BUT, that would put the class at 30 so there's no way the current make up of the class happens if those guys sign.

Hell, even if only 1 or 2 sign, I still don't think there's enough room. So we'll either be seeing a lot of transfers or a lot of guys from the current class have to go elsewhere.

So last I saw accounting for Taylor's departure and the walk ons, there will be 80 scholarships available.

Then you remove the 11 guys whose eligibility will expire this year and you get to 16 open spots.

2 RS Juniors don't get 5th years and that's 18.

Gary goes to the draft that's 19.

Bush as well, that's 20.

1 of Long/Hill to get to 21.

Then after that it's speculation on Hudson, Gentry, Bredeson, the other of the 2 CBs, and underclassmen transfer, of which I could see about 4 or 5 that wouldn't shock me.

DL has a huge incoming class so if someone is looking for playing time they might transfer.

RB has a lot of guys as of the summer as well.

With Patterson coming back the QBs will be looking at one another.

There are 13 DBs that are not graduating this year so they'll also be looking at one another.

So that could get to 26 - 28 but 30 is starting to stretch things a bit.

4th and Go For It

Harrison and Crouch are 50/50 IMO. Harrison probably wants to go here and his family and everyone he knows wants him to go to OSU. Tough to tell everyone you're going to the hated rival. Gonna be a toss up.

Crouch seems to like Michigan but his other option is Clemson, way closer to home for family, and the best program in the area currently. A lot of pull there vs going up North. Both are good programs playing good football. If he loves the south, you could do worse than the Clemson network.

While I think we're in as good a place as we could be for both kids, it really feels like a coin flip on both. Unlikely we land both.

I work with a guy who writes for one of the Ohio State recruiting websites.  I talked to him at length yesterday and he said he would be shocked if Zach Harrison does not go to Michigan.

He said that Zach is not going to Ohio State and then went on to tell me that we would be disappointed, because he is injury prone and is not close to a Rashan Gary type of player.
