RichRod to Bama?
Apparently he was spotted on the Alabama campus - maybe the next analyst for Bama?

sexual harassment, not sexual assault. he tried to kiss her once and walked around her shirtless. also he failed to intervene when players texted her pics of their junk.

It will come as a shock to everyone at the University of Arizona, that Coach Rodriguez had a secretary at Arizona State University.
I really don't know what to do with you, you miserable little turd. Of course, the allegations against Coach Rodriguez had nothing to do with "sexual assault" in any way, shape or form. I could alert the mods to try to have your post taken down. But that might deny me the fun of running you down, on exactly where you got the notion of repeated "sexual assault."
But you're not a serious person here. You're obviously too dumb to worry about.
So I am just going to leave this with you.

Dude should never have been a head coach. About as career an offensive coordinator as you'll ever find.
November 12th, 2018 at 2:37 PM ^
Yeah he built WV from dust to 1 play away from the NC title game and a gig at Michigan. Complete failure as a head coach.

there should always be an asterisk *- in the Big East.

That team did obliterate Oklahoma in a bowl game that year.
November 12th, 2018 at 5:17 PM ^
To be fair OU gets obliterated at least once a season by a very sub-par team. See also: 2018.
November 12th, 2018 at 6:34 PM ^
Who'd they get obliterated by?!
November 12th, 2018 at 2:51 PM ^
Lol simply being hired as a head coach at UM is some proof he’s a good head coach? Are you dumb? He obviously had one lucky stint in WVU and has been coasting off that for years.

All Pat White

And Noel Devine / Steve Slaton. That three-back combo (including White) was terrific. RT has been trying to recreate that ever since.

Dang there are some mad WV fans in that thread.

I hope he is going to be Alabama's new Defensive Coordinator.
November 12th, 2018 at 3:59 PM ^
Me too, and I hope he takes over before this year's Cotton Bowl.
November 12th, 2018 at 2:49 PM ^
He was a flash in the pan thanks to his personnel. Sucks we fell for it but I wouldn’t change anything to be where we are now honestly, as painful as the RR/Hoke eras were.
November 12th, 2018 at 3:02 PM ^
He’s stalking Josh Groban.
November 12th, 2018 at 3:18 PM ^
He is a lock to be their next defensive coordinator. You heard it here 1st.
No. 2nd.

slow news day

THE ULTIMATE REVENGE TOUR PLOT TWIST!!!!!

Rich Rod in a nutshell:
Strengths
-innovative offense (BTW, those of you criticizing that offense should be aware that Urban Meyer basically stole and tweaked Rich Rod's zone read. How did that work out for him? I'll bet he wishes that he had a dual threat now, since his pro-style attack leaves a bit to be desired. Oh yeah... Harbaugh uses zone read elements as well).
-Aside from Michigan, had a solid career at WVU and Zona (he was never going to win big with the Wildcats, but he did bring them some memorable moments, like beating Utah, Oregon, and USC).
-Far, far more passionate on the sideline than Brady Hoke ever was
-At least with Rich Rod our win total went UP, albeit marginally (With Hoke it went down each year)
Weaknesses
-Man does not know how to run a defense. You want a 3-3-5? Then get a 3-3-5 coach to run it, not a 4-3 coach (his problem with us)
-His "aw shucks" attitude at times should have been kept back in place of something a bit more stoic or empassioned.
-The whole "real estate" thing he was involved in when coming to Michigan always left me scratching my head.
-Was not a good personality fit for Michigan (Sidenote: not all of that was his fault. We had some "good ol' boys" who weren't as supportive as they could have been, including Dave Brandon, who basically sabotaged the bowl game against Mississippi State by telling the players Rich Rod was going to be let go, and did it behind Rich Rod's back).
-Obviously, the Title 9 fiasco that happened at Arizona, I'm glad that didn't happen here.
November 12th, 2018 at 6:07 PM ^
I'm surprised fostering an environment of routine sexual harassment isn't mentioned under "weaknesses". I'm also surprised the narrative of mean Michigan insiders still exists. Most likely RichRod is just a jerk, which is why he has a hard time getting along with people everywhere he goes.
November 12th, 2018 at 5:31 PM ^
From now on if a coach does something deplorable and gets fired just send them directly to OSU or Bama. I feel like Art Briles is hold up in Tuscaloosa somewhere right now diagraming the offenses plays. Maybe I'm being to harsh on Bama but probably going to easy on OSU.

Unless GERG (Greg Robinson) is accompanying Rich Rodriguez, then this is not newsworthy.

They brought him in to help with the game plan against The Citadel. Alabama’s schedule is just so brutal this year.
November 12th, 2018 at 10:08 PM ^
Hope Saban gives him a job on the defensive side of the ball. RichRod sure knows him some defense.
November 14th, 2018 at 12:33 PM ^
Is it true that Rich Rod is so bad at finding defensive talent even his lawyer gave up 500 yards?
November 17th, 2018 at 12:38 AM ^
Hmmm, well if any state is a good state for RR after the fall...
