Sexy!!
I'm.....too sexy for your endzone
Too sexy for your endzone....
Hopefully only our opponents are too sexy for the endzone.
Sexy as a bottle of Pepsi...
I like it...most people on Twitter seem to be split. It'll be nice to hopefully look back on highlights of a championship season with the distinctive end zones.
I wonder if it will make replays more difficult...?
Why? Everything you'd be reviewing is in contrast to the white (Ball Crossing the Goal line or Toe Out of Bounds)
Not as difficult as a B1G official make them.
I don't know if you wonder that.
well I hear the opponents will be playing with blue balls due to difficulty scoring on our D
Sounds like a speed issue. My wife says I'm too fast for her to score on my D as well.
Trouble with up-tempo spread n shred?
Definitely on board with this.
Looks good to me. Maize is a bit dark, but appears to be in line with the current color scheme. I'm glad they aren't trying anything fancier, like white outlines or football helmets or logos. Nice and simple.
is it darker? or are our eyes still burned out from the "Adidas Sun" look.
Yes. It is significantly darker than the maize that characterized the football uniforms in the Carr years. It is not as dark as the last year of Adidas, which was borderline orange, but it is still too dark.
The major difference is that now all teams have basically the same maize, whereas in the Carr era and earlier the maize on the football uniforms was a lighter (and in my opinion superior) color than the color used by other major teams. Most notably the hockey team, whose maize uniforms actually clashed with the helmets that were painted to football spec.
Adidas’ attempt at true maize was actually a lot worse than their Sun color
Hockey helmets aren’t “painted to football spec.”
Hockey helmets are just navy blue helmets with yellow electrical tape applied to it.
Painting the helmets would void the warranty and would diminish the integrity of the helmet and cause safety issues.
There are far too many variations of maize.
The maize from the Carr years was better than anything we've seen. Oh well, the current isn't too bad. Better than highlighter.
I agree, I think it looks great and gives the field a little more updated look to it. Not too flashy, just the right amount.
Blue End Zones makes me want to say Go Blue!!!!!
Love it! Any wider shots?
yea, I'd like to see an aerial view
Love the blue endzones, wonder how Mr. Happy Bluey is gonna bash idea.
I think it looks sharp. A change that doesn't truly affect a Michigan tradition.
It looks so nice, that it makes you wonder why it took so many years to actually do it.

Looks sweet!
Very nice! In this case, change is a good thing. It's looked the same for so many years, this will really add more visual interest to the whole field.
Looks nice and the post reminds me of when I first started on here looking for updated pics of the new scoreboards back in 2011.
Looks good indeed.
Hopefully many celebrations take place there. Particularly on the last weekends of Novembers....
I was skeptical when these were announced, but these look awesome. Well done.
A note: This shows the layout of the lettering. It is "floating" and hasn't yet been stitched into the endzone (looked at the point of the M, for example). It should look a hair sharper when finished, though it's possible that the lettering may dull in luster somewhat when the infill is rolled in.
Exellent
Username checks out.
Hopefully our offense wears out this endzone at little faster.
Maybe its just my OCD... but the text doesn't look like its centered up/down in the endzone. More blue underneath the word.
Those pegs are likely just holding it in place so they can get it positioned correctly before installation.
It doesn't look like the lettering is stitched in yet.
But why would they align it in the wrong spot..?
That's likely the angle of the picture. If you look at shots from endzones when taken from similar angles it can distort the same way.
Go Big Blue!
No.
It's "Go Blue"!
Just "Go Blue"
Why are their clansmen in the back of the endzone?
Thats the new O-line
Whose clansmen? Did you mean "there klansmen"? You been hitting the eucalyptus, MeanJoe?
Ye!aa!s
Those are bagmen.
