Jabrill Peppers Visits
Jabrill Peppers is not going to visit Stanford. Planning return visit to Penn State the weekend of May 18th. Per Rivals (from interview with Pepper's coach)
No Stanford visit for Jabrill Peppers? Looking that way, though one to PSU is in the works. U-M is still the strong frontrunner.
Very clever. Let's see if it works (awesome pic response) for me as well:
Peppers is such an incredible talent, he could be used on special teams, returning punts and Kunis...
Try this instead.
prepare for some angry tweeting by David Shaw if this is true. If he can get a certain NFL head coach to slam Michigan's academic integrity again, that might change JP's mind.
David Shaw's next tweet should be priceless.
100
You could say he is a stars all-star.
Seriously? His full name is in the tweet that you copied and pasted and you still couldn't spell it right?
Peppers: So, yo guys aren't going to a bowl anytime soon?
O'Brien: No, but the NCAA did sanction us to take the team to Colonial Williamsburg in January
Peppers: Can we stop D.C. for the cherry blossom festival?
O'Brien: No, but we will play "any given sunday" on the team bus on the way back
Peppers: Word! The one with Pachino?
O'brien: No, the one with Fr. Jeff Rose from Our Lady of Prepetual Sorrow
Peppers: Man, that's....... something, Coach
O'Brien: yeah, we've been hearing that a lot lately
I wonder if Shaw's tweet had anything to do with this? Everything I've watched and read about Jabrill would suggest that he's a no BS tell it to me straight(real recognize real) type of kid.
I was much more worried about Stanford than Penn State. Stanford really has a lot to offer, but PSU? Smaller stadium, no bowls for a while, bad for the forseeable future, and in the middle of nowhere. I would be shocked if it's more than just one last visit to prove to himself that Michigan is the choice.
Are you serious? PSU has a small stadium?
Well, he said smaller, not small. And it is smaller than ours (though I agree this shouldn't exactly be a major selling point).
Who doesn't have a smaller stadium than us?
Pyongyang, North Korea. Also somewhere in India, if memory serves.
Record attendance at Wembley is 89.874, according to Wikipedia.
than us.
I had interpreted it as being smaller than Stanford's stadium. Sorry 'bout that. Have a cookie.
- Top 2 of Michigan and Stanford
- Plans visit to Stanford beforing deciding
- Cancels visit to Stanford
I don't know what else that could mean
Profit!
Shaw your an ass for publicly taking a dig at Michigan. Peppers no longer likes you. Peace out.
i am a bit late, but this title reads as "the visit that Jabril Peppers is currently taking." i believe it should be Jabril Peppers' Visits which would be more in-line with a post about what visits Peppers has left to take.
/grammarnazi'd
Yeah, I was expecting to read that he made a suprise visit to the campus.
The title could use some more work in the informative part as well.
Don't want to count on him prematurely, but he is exactly what we need in the defensive backfield, just as Harris was exactly what we needed at WR and Green exactly what we needed at RB. This team has solid freshmena nd sophomores throughout, and a solid incoming class, and a potentially great OL in another year or two. But great individual players take you to the next level, and we are starting to accumulate recruits who are potentially great. Now, let's get a Peppers pledge and then add Hand or McDowell for the DL.
Hand OR McDowell???
Chris Balas said something to the effect of "There is a better chance of them building a Jerry Sandusky statue than Peppers going to PSU" a couple hours ago. So, there's that.
Interesting anaolgy. I'd say that's a low chance then.
I was wondering if Peppers mentioned a PSU visit to get people off his back. Inevitably, when you're the #2 prospect in the country and you have a top 2 and seemingly eliminate one, everyone in the world is going to go "SO BRO. U GO TO MICHIGAN NOW?1".
The PSU visit may be real, but it might just be a shield or timewaster to keep him from having to comment too much on his affinity for Michigan at the moment (possibly before he's ready to make any commitments one way or another)
but Penn State has nothing to offer that Michigan can't do better right now
Unless Jabrill really digs mountains that is
over Michigan, LSU, Ohio State, Stanford, Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma, it would be the biggest recruiting upset in a long, long time.
Word on the street and on twitter is that he didnt officially cancle his visit to Stanford all together, but is instead finding it hard to schedule the trip all the way out there with all that he has going on. he has track and all the camps and stuff like that, plus its a trip all the way across the country so its not as easy as going to PSU or even Michigan.
What street do you live on?
I read it on twitter pretty much was what i was going for
Do we know if there's any chance of Peppers coming to the BBQ?
