stupid free throws. stupid not intentional foul.
And It's March, so most of us in the North are tired of Snowflakes. stupid snowflakes.
I hope Drake Harris was so sad that he's got it in his blood and he knows where his heart lies!
Why not defend the missed shots? Burkes bounce was so bad if we had anyone there they might have secured it.
to just dissect the last minute of the game. Easier, too.
But the good news is that my friends and I are already planning which Football games to attend. UTL II, vs ohio, and away at NW.
Looking ahead to football season now.
Here are kittens instead:
Hedgehog interlude:
Did anyone realize how long the ball sat on the rim at the end? It's as if God was thinking "Hmm, who do I want to win" and the ball just sat on the rim for awhile.
Is it emotionally easier to be a .500 team that wins the postseason NIT? Sure seems like it.
because then you never expect to win, and any victory is exciting.
But we've been through that, and we all know this is much better!!!
fuckity fuck fuck
fuck
fuck,fuck, fuck, fuck
FUCK
Fuck me
Goddamn sports.
Time to move on. Hopefully the team plays pissed and steamrolls through the conference tourney.
POY should remain with Burke. If that is taken away I will have lost faith in college sports.
It's a silver lining that Michigan will play a team that recently upset them. It shouldn't be too hard to find motivation for the game.
and this thread is countless images of Denard.gif and Kate Upton
They could have done things better, but Indiana could have done things better too. This is a time to say, "Aw hell - we could have won," not "These guys suck."
You won't be posting for a good while because they got beat by the number 2 team in the country? What a fucking wuss.
Is that King Lear or Hamlet?
by a point!
OSU and MSU ... GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rest of you whiners, come on now. This game hurt a ton, but this team still lost by ONE, and we all know they could have / should have won, to the overall #1 or #2 in the country. That's not the worst thing in the world, y'all.
Kinda glad I missed the last few miutes. I think I would have had an aneurysm from missed front ends on 1 and 1s and another no call intentional at the end of a game.
@DanWetzel
Tom Crean got into it twice postgame with a Michigan assistant. Wild scene here in Ann Arbor
anyone have any info on this?
Dunno, heard Crean refused to shake hands after the game though
more info
@DanWetzel
Heated ending to game. Crean and UM assistant Jeff Meyer exchanged some words during handshake line and then after.
1. Refs stole game.
2. In the NCAA Tournament, they will make the free throws at the end of the game.
I watched the rim job again. So close. Now I'm in bed decompressing.
Perspective: I haz none.
your son thinks. I'm old enough to remember 1989. Illinois was sooooo good, and they beat us twice during the year. We all know how that turned out...
Yes! This is the perspective missing from a huge part of our fan base.
Tough loss to take, but UM showed me 2 things today that I really like
1. They showed an aggressiveness (as a team, not just 1 or 2 players) that I hadn't seen since we were 20-1. There was more attacking and less standing around, waiting for someone else to do something.
2. A defensive intensity that I hadn't seen on a team-wide level at all this year.
Others may disagree, but this game actually gave me more confidence for our NCAA Tournament chances.
This is what I came away with.
Yeah, that last minute sucked. The free throws sucked. The loss sucked. No B1G Championship. That all sucks.
But my god that was the toughest I've seen Michigan play all year. Were they perfect? No. Did they miss bunnies throughout the game? Yes. Did they get outrebounded by 20? Yes.
And after all of that we still controlled most of the game and it came down to a few free throws that our usually good shooters just missed.
CALL OFF THE SEASON, THEY'RE DONE, BOYS.
Buck up and realize that we don't all of a sudden suck because we lost by 1 to Indiana.
What are you talking about? Wer got outrebounded by 21. That's the opposite of tough.
