OT: AR Coach Bobby Petrino - Idiot

It comes out that his motorcycle wreck a few days back was not a solo wreck - a 25 year old blonde staffer was riding as well. Oh, and both the University and Petrino himself tried to sweep that little tidbit under the rug. Oh, and Petrino is married if course... And the staffer is engaged.

Thankfully both are without serious injuries...but it looks like Petrino's motor cycle wreck will now turn into a train wreck for him.

Usually bosses can't date, or be in a relationship, with subordinates. This would fall under that as she was recently hired as an employee within the football program.

He may have violated his employment contract that all employees sign with the University.

Update: He was placed on administrative leave for further investigation.

Well, probably becasue he lied to his boss about the accident (and the poilice??), hired a woman he was having an affair with, continued the affair while he was her boss and lied about it.

I think that is worth looking into if you are his emplyer.

If you are willing to let your school issue a false press release on your behalf about this incident and then only days later tell them "my bad", I would have to think this same person would be a bit slow in reporting other things such as potential NCAA violations. Petrino was known as a mercenary, but now that is added to questionable ethics which makes a seemingly poor combination for someone representing a public institution.

My great aunt still uses the term "broad," but she grew up in Brooklyn in the 30s/40s so anything goes, I guess.

She also carries an "emergency corkscrew" and wears a watch where each digit is "5", so, y'know.

Sounds like she has earned the right, for sure!  but not guys who make that reference because the woman was half of a relationship between two adults.

I'm not usually all PC..broad is one of those words that bugs me.  I got called sweetheart once (by a condescending, minimum wage clerk at a beer store; me customer, him "the help")...don't EVER do that to a woman who *might* be having a "bad" week...and you never know when that might be.

He probably just happened to be riding his motorbike on the same day that an attractive 25yr old blonde woman needed a ride home. That's all, I'm sure.

Why is he an idiot?  Sure she's a bit skeletor looking, especially when spiking a volleyball but for a 50-something coach, he's doing really well for himself.

The AD just put Petrino on administrative leave.  The main reason is that Petrino was not forthcoming with information to AD Long and the media.

Apparently happens with so many if these guys in power. WV alumni here say RR had relations with coeds all the time and the UF alumni ALL say the same thing - Meyer was cheating on his wife and also his wife was cheating on him(awesome). They suggest the reason he left was to try and save their marriage because you know he is deeply religious.

I guess as long as you hear things then trashing the reputation of  people you've never met is OK in my book.

The only reason I even bring that point about having proof is that EVERYBODY up here in Ohio has been talking about TampaBlue and the numerous affairs he is having with everyone he has ever known, gone to school with or lived nearby.

I knew you'd be ok with me posting this.

First of all what I stated is not anything that hasn't been posted here before about Meyer or RR. Feel free to scan through past blog entries to familiarize yourself.
Second I agree if it was just 1 or 2 people but every UF alumni who actually follows football says the same thing from people in their 20's to ones in their 60's. And also former players as well(these guys are still connected you know) ALL say the same unprompted response. Where there's smoke there's fire.
Am I right in assuming you are one of those people that believe our senators are all righteous and honest even though EVERYBODY says they take bribes? But wait there's no proof so it must not be true and no one must speak of it until there is. If you are then I apologize for insulting your morality. On the other hand, if you HAVE ever passed on any speculation ever in your life then I have to assume you are THAT GUY.
Think about it if everyone in Ohio was talking about me then there's a really good chance that it's true.

Listen I am just giving a perspective on Meyer from the UF fan base down here. Only because he now is relevant to MICH football. I just though it would be of interest to this forum. I have no personal reason to slander him.
Like I said these ideas are not new to this forum. This is not out of the blue.
Let's end this - if you can honestly say you have never passed on information in your life without absolute proof to anyone (never gossiped) then I will admit you are the better man as far as that goes and respect that kind of self discipline. It would be impressive.
