09/03/2018 - 5:49pm I don’t know man. I used to…

I don’t know man. I used to be religious reading this blog, now I struggle to finish content. It has all gotten to f*cked for such a long trend line, the blips don’t outweigh the general direction so it is hard to get any type of excitement. Big Ten titles used to be assumed and clucking was reserved for those years one was not s team has not been close to winning its division since they were created.  Covering this mess has to be difficult as contrasted to basketball which is great since you at least have a chance for success, there seems to be a plan in place.

04/19/2018 - 4:05pm Carton interview from Hawk Central

From Feb, breaks down who is recruiting him the hardest.

https://www.hawkcentral.com/story/sports/college/iowa/bbmen-recruiting/…

04/06/2018 - 7:18pm She deserves a kick in the ass out the door

But you have to rally the wagons, everyone is out to get you, #disrespekt

It is exhausting and stupid. You only hope they pull their heads out of the collective asses at some point and live up to the mission of being a public institution representing the state of Michigan.

01/24/2018 - 10:40pm At least she admitted to the person she actually is

Per her quote "I have worked very hard to put Team MSU first." and this is why you are in this situation.

When your ethos is created on them against us with that chip on your shoulder, you rationalize things the "us" does as legitimate and "them" as just trying to take "us" down. She should have put people such as "students" or "children" first instead of Team MSU since that would have made her human or compassionate. Reading the quotes from her statement does not demonstrate any of this self-realization instead includes gems about the tragedy being politicized- no you were derilict of your duty as a President and rightfully were shown the door, good riddance.

11/18/2017 - 10:40pm On a day our special teams look pedestrian

That is tough to see

11/17/2017 - 2:49pm Are you referring to Greenberg?

Not familiar with where Golic went to college or his kids.

09/02/2017 - 5:29pm Is the live blog working?

No access from iPhone, the button does not work

09/02/2017 - 5:29pm Is the live blog working?

No access from iPhone, the button does not work

08/21/2017 - 11:54am I was blown away by how much I did not know about WWI

in addition to the fact I was wondering how I was going to listen to so many hours on the subject. That was an absolute incredible podcast that I was disappointed to have end.

07/31/2017 - 2:14pm Nothing but well wishes Sam to you and your family

I hope you are able to find peace in this time of grief.

06/09/2017 - 12:45pm This does NOT meet the narrative of certain media types

He better stop doing good and start doing more scheming of dastardly deeds.

05/26/2017 - 1:31pm Staying grunge with about 4 hours of Chris Cornell

Covering Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple and solo while I get things done around the house. Bonus track is him covering Crown of Thorns during a live Pearl Jam concert. Have not had the free time to do this yet and close that chapter.

05/22/2017 - 12:38pm Next activity to be outlawed by NCAA

Unfair recruiting advantage in rural areas by having this skill, think of the student athletes who should be delivering their own cows over spring break.

04/26/2017 - 2:12pm Hard to care too much when your job involves active trolling

I don't see his contribution of analyst inight to a broader community and promoting a sports brand so great to counter balance him intentionally being a douche that same community. Seems like a net gain.

03/31/2017 - 5:12pm Had to upvote the OLP

That was a solid album that did not get the same play on stations in the US.

11/17/2016 - 9:12am In a strange way, he sort of reminded me of Daniel Tosh

Maybe just the way he was talking

11/14/2016 - 3:16pm I promise you so much winning

Not sure the plan, but there will be winning

11/12/2016 - 11:00am I think Tim Beck-Man has the knowledge

OSKEE

09/30/2016 - 12:32pm One pretty telling segment in the Turnley article

When Harbs and Drevno can't believe the state of the offense

"(Offensive coordinator Tim Drevno) was saying the same thing. We couldn't get stuff picked up, protected"

This situation caused him to consider jumping off the Bell Tower, good to remember how far we have come with this staff.

09/25/2016 - 5:02pm Clock management quality control analyst!

I kid, I like Les, he has his strengths and weaknesses like everyone.

09/20/2016 - 2:43pm When you have to ask which player is doing the punching

since there are multiple candidates, there are many problems at the moment with the team.

07/22/2016 - 2:11pm The best line from Crimson Quarry expansion options

"Cincinnati would play inspired in honor of their hometown's beloved ape Harambe"

That is fantastic.

07/22/2016 - 2:01pm This is also a Regent of the university

who should have been a little more plugged into things than some person half a country away deciding to make the donation. It seems a bit more strange considering his role and the way this played out.

07/20/2016 - 12:31pm Heard that yesterday afternoon

Trying to rearrange the work schedule, will be very cool. Not sure if they have the coach from "Chicago's B1G Team" on the calendar as well LOL

07/14/2016 - 6:12pm His comment is pretty telling re: cooperation with NCAA

"I think it's very rare for a kid that has left a program to cooperate. I have heard that he is willing to from just talking to our counsel and stuff. Where that stands at this point, I have no idea."

Strange choice of words. If nothing bad was happening, he should encourage Tunsil to talk so he can clear the air on these misconceptions. It could be construed as a warning not to snitch since cooperation would be so rare, Tunsil should not do this either and be the exception.

07/05/2016 - 3:40pm There are no victims since nothing happened besides a beloved

figure getting hung out to dry. Once you have bought in enough, you can't hear enough logic to the contray to believe anything else. This will continually be a thing until there are no more lettermen who played for him to raise this up as an issue. It is baffling to me, but nothing will likely change their minds at this point after seeing the mountain of evidence regarding a cover up.

06/21/2016 - 10:13am They have a stolen handgun with them

I could accept the registered on, the stolen one raises a few concerns beyond it being a felony offense. The typical happy stoner does not seem to fit this instance.

06/21/2016 - 10:05am yeah, led by the guy with his name on the stadium

win at any cost

06/17/2016 - 11:21am I hope this is not PSU, but Sandusky's lawyers doing this

HOWEVER, eff those guys for letting it go on for so long. I would not mind this getting dragged around the news cycle again to put the remainder back out there what those guys allowed to happen at the alter of JoePa.

06/17/2016 - 11:18am What do you mean what?

That is hilarious. Wouldn't matter what the kid was wearing, he looked like he got ran over by Wormley, then there is a mass of kids charging Walton. Glad he was out there, good PR for the program.

05/31/2016 - 10:57pm You would think, they would learn

that the man does not let ANYTHING slide. He will find out and he will let you know about it.

05/30/2016 - 5:14pm He won't be permanent so he can bridge them to next year

Not too many people will do that, will have the new guy by the winter break.

05/11/2016 - 9:48am However, it would be fun watching them roll around on the

ground throwing a tantrum. Maybe we can suggest it without being serious about doing it.

05/02/2016 - 5:08pm I think Fedd-Jackson might have a few things to say here

namely that he is like Mike Hart, but fast sort of a hybrid of Adrian Peterson and Barry Sanders, but better than whatever that would be. He would also be thirstly, drinking lots of sodas.

04/29/2016 - 11:45am Why not? I am stunned!

That light bill, even if it includes water, is way high.

04/29/2016 - 11:43am Huge Freeze is already an overworked man

How can he also be expected to stay on top of all the payments to recruit AND current players while also spending time with his family? One or the other people, come on.

04/28/2016 - 2:33pm Puts us right back in the news headlines for a few days

This is awesome considering there will be follow up stories on Harbs fighting the NCAA and winning

04/25/2016 - 5:30pm I am sure Judge MF Judy is involved somehow

Harbs' posse got his back yo

04/23/2016 - 11:01pm I guess you think Beilein is an idiot as well since he considers

Bloodlines as a fact in his recruitment. It is not an exact 1 for 1, but Stan was no slouch of an athlete. Most only remember Braylon. Berkley had skills, the unknown is what his measurable a were, a stat that coach B looks at to see how much more you might develop. We are also taking this kid named Dylan at Aqaba who sort of has a big time last name and has his family referenced heavily in his recruiting evaluation, not sure why it does not go both ways.

04/21/2016 - 12:37pm Since he not good with much else

I am wondering how he keeps a job.

04/02/2016 - 10:30pm The man is everywhere, will this be the next thing copied?

So they are doing the satellite camps, will we now see Bret singing at concerts? Saban throwing down some lyrics?

04/02/2016 - 10:30pm The man is everywhere, will this be the next thing copied?

So they are doing the satellite camps, will we now see Bret singing at concerts? Saban throwing down some lyrics?

04/01/2016 - 2:17pm That is what makes it all so perfect

Douchebags like douchebags, believe that is one of those universal theorems

03/25/2016 - 2:48pm The exchange caught on the video is good

Per the local news station

On the last shot, the lawnmower explodes in a cloud of water vapor. Shrapnel can be seen flying in all direction. The camera shot wavers.

"I blew my leg off! Oh, [expletive]!"

That's when what's happened hits the amateur cameraman: "Aw, [expletive]!"

Yes, he almost got his Darwin award.

03/23/2016 - 9:54am Or Urbz told him to STFU since he has endorsed the idea of

a spring trip. With his Florida connections, he would have much to gain from a similar trip and has likely put something in motion for next year.

03/23/2016 - 9:33am You can't provoke the man since he has an uncanny command

of 1) the details and 2) a mass media platform. It simply does not end well unless you really have no baggage to expose.

03/18/2016 - 5:16pm Actually Sparty YES!!

Made my effing day, on to the drinking!

03/18/2016 - 10:22am The guy is genius, not tons of regular production, but great

content. I liked the Smith hiring post as well. Hard to include all the references and then inject the humor.

"Just think of the three Illini head football coaches from the past nine months on a sliding scale of dignity: Lovie, calmly repeating the "Rex Grossman is our quarterback" mantra in the face of triple-coverage interceptions; Cubit, an avuncular man who probably refers to pancakes as flapjacks; and Tim Beckman, who has spent the last four months trying to get his head freed from a stairway railing. "

03/17/2016 - 3:54pm Oh well, Dantoni' will just use that week like during our

spring practice to put extra focus on us while we are doing things like camps in Texas with one of the best offensive minds in college.

03/11/2016 - 3:40pm Unless it was a UM shirt that included a message

about his mom, I simply can't imagine how it would through him off like that. Makes him seem pretty small.
