Your lack of respect as a fanbase shall continue to be me with annual beat downs and the next one comes tomorrow.

Have fun watching the Denard for Heisman show! "You can't handle the truth!"
October 14th, 2011 at 8:56 PM ^
I really tried. But I just can't find a sentence in what you wrote.
October 14th, 2011 at 9:04 PM ^
He personifies lack of respect just like Damon Dowdell (miss you big guy!) personified quarterbacking excellence.

Nice basketball season last year.

Your lack of grammar shall continue to expose you as an MSU grad.

Detroit News Staffs are kidding? I do not think it's possible for us to score only 14 points..
October 14th, 2011 at 8:32 PM ^
It's all going according to plan.
October 14th, 2011 at 8:33 PM ^
will deliver this victory to Michigan. The so-called experts are dead wrong.
seniors will not go out without a victory.
the whole team is focused and hungry.
Hoke has the magic touch.
maize & blue defense is dramatically improved over previous years.
maize & blue offense will shock MSU with creativity they haven't yet witnessed.
Michigan: 28
MSU: 14
GO BLUE!
October 14th, 2011 at 8:35 PM ^
The Hoke impact is very underrated. He's going to have those players coming out like their hair is on fire. This game is personal to him, not to mention the seniors
October 14th, 2011 at 10:15 PM ^
Hoke has changed the tide of this rivallry. Millions of people in Michigan are buying the jerseys. Never in a thousand years did I think I would see that.
October 14th, 2011 at 8:37 PM ^
Mark May and Lou Holtz both picked Michigan.
October 14th, 2011 at 9:02 PM ^
This bothers me. Greatly.
October 14th, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
We are DOOOOOMED!!!! Holtz AND May...it's like.....it's like....ARMAGEDDON!!!!!
October 14th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
Has Holtz ever picked Michigan? I remember him saying we had no chance against Brady Quinn ... and then Woodley teabagged him on the way to a TD and a dismantling of ND. I stopped listening to Dr. "Spew" after that.
October 14th, 2011 at 10:15 PM ^
We're fucked
October 15th, 2011 at 12:59 AM ^
Lou Holtz originally tried to pick Notre Dame to win this game.

I hope you mean Desmond's son because Corso is just awful.

THE_KNOWLEDGE???
October 14th, 2011 at 8:39 PM ^
While I think it is entirely possible that MSU will win, the prospect of them winning by 2+ TD's seems unlikely.
Prediction FAIL by the Detroit News staff.
October 14th, 2011 at 8:46 PM ^
You were wrong on two of the DetNews predictions... Simple copy and paste, dude.
Angelique: MSU 24 - UM 21
Wojo: MSU 27- UM 20
October 14th, 2011 at 8:50 PM ^
Not so sure how that happened....
October 14th, 2011 at 8:53 PM ^
The vast majority of the media has framed this game as the MSU defense vs Denard. They seem to forget that MSU's offense also has to play our defense. Many (not unlike around here) are still hung up on what happened last year as well.
They're also fond of calling MSU's defense "the best in the nation"... Forgetting that judging a matchup on padded stats is like judging a woman's attractiveness by her telephone voice. Truthfully their defense is probably somewhere between decent and good. "Best in the conference" is still a stretch at this point and "best in the nation" is a joke.
UM-28
MSU-13

I have inside information saying Taco Pants will not be traveling with the team this weekend. Michigan wins and the bandwagon fills up.
October 14th, 2011 at 10:17 PM ^
Tacopants gets around...He was at the EMU-Toledo game last week.
October 14th, 2011 at 10:22 PM ^
I heard Bauserman was overthrowing Tacopants like whoah!
October 14th, 2011 at 10:39 PM ^
I probably should crop that picture a bit though.
October 15th, 2011 at 11:50 AM ^
Bauserman may be the QB in the NCAA who CAN (and did regularly against Nebraska) overthrow Tacopants.
October 14th, 2011 at 9:07 PM ^
Staff pretty much all think we will lose by 17. Ridiculous
October 15th, 2011 at 12:09 AM ^
All that is gonna do is to help me with the line. #pleasedontshowtacopants
October 14th, 2011 at 9:09 PM ^
That's ok if everyone is picking against Michigan just adds fuel to the fire for Michigan. We'll see tomorrow GO BLUE
October 14th, 2011 at 9:11 PM ^
Look how that turned out.

"experts" aren't really experts.
October 14th, 2011 at 9:13 PM ^
(link) I don't know, though, I'm feeling more confident about the game than I was at the beginning of the week. I'd prefer that we go into the game as underdogs (according to Vegas and the media).
October 14th, 2011 at 9:14 PM ^
How do so many people think UM scores less than 21? Ridiculous.
October 14th, 2011 at 9:29 PM ^
Well, Michigan did only score 20 in 2009 and 17 in 2010. I'm assuming that these people expect a similar game to last year's contest when looking at their predictions. I disagree and think Michigan scores closer to 30 than 20.
October 14th, 2011 at 9:14 PM ^
I love peoples' obsession with predictions. Makes me giggle.
But seriously, I can see the future better than all of you. Tornado takes out East Lansing and the game doesn't even get played. It's pretty obvious this will happen based on the butterfly activity in Peru the last couple hours.

It was 1969.
The Ohio State Team of the Century had won its previous 22 games by a wide margin and was defending national champion. They were heralded by the media as "the greatest college football team of all time."
That season's scores coming into the Michigan game were OSU 62, TCU 0; OSU 41, Washington 14; OSU 54, MSU 21; OSU 34, Minn 7; OSU 41, Illinois 0; OSU 35, NWU 6; OSU 64, Wisconsin 7; OSU 42, Purdue 14.
In the prior season, they had beaten an eight win Michigan squad 50-14.
Ohio State did not trail in a football game for one second during the entire 1969 season, before coming to Ann Arbor. Not one pundit predicted a Michigan win. It was only going to be a question of how much we'd lose by.
But Bo Schembechler and the Michigan football team, the team, the team, decided to show up and play anyway.
Does anyone on this board believe for a nanosecond that the 2011 Michigan State Spartans are the Team of the Century? That they are the greatest college football team of all time?
Brady Hoke and the Michigan football team are going to show up at Spartan Stadium and play a football game tomorrow. It will be decided on the field. And it doesn't matter what the pundits say, or what the predictions are.
Because that's why they play the games.

That actually is a cool story, bro.
