In regards to how the Big Ten stacks up relative to other conferences, KenPom actually tracks this stat. The Big Ten is 9th out of 33 conferences in Home Win Pct.
The top conference is the Great West Conference, which, with only five members, has had only 18 conference games thus far, at 72.2%. The second-best conference in Home Win Pct. is the Mountain West Conference with 70.6% (48 of 68).
Denard has started every game the past two seasons, so he is 16-8 as a starter.
The only game I can think of where Tate's performance truly affected the outcome of a game was Illinois 2010. Denard left near the end of the third quarter when it was tied or Michigan had a small lead, and Tate earned the win in 3OT.
Ace, since Jeremy Clark is no longer "gray-shirting" and now joining the 2012 class, shouldn't he be added to this list? You may have addressedd this in a previous update, but I'm not sure.
Well, Michigan did only score 20 in 2009 and 17 in 2010. I'm assuming that these people expect a similar game to last year's contest when looking at their predictions. I disagree and think Michigan scores closer to 30 than 20.
Watson has barely sniffed the field this season, while Branch recorded two sacks this past weekend and is a regular contributor to the Cardinals' defense.
Dhani Jones has been a NFL starter for quite some time, while Crable has not received much playing time in his career due to injuries.
I agree with the rest and am impressed that U-M can put out a complete lineup. BTW, James Hall is having a fantastic year for the St. Louis Rams. He already has 6.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and a blocked field goal though seven games.
Denard's completion percentage through seven games is 67.8%. He has a very legitimate shot to set the U-M single-season record this year.
A 67% completion percentage by year-end is the target? Are you high? The Michigan record (minimum 100 attempts) is 65.3% by Todd Collins, followed by Harbaugh at 65%. But hey, this sophomore has to break Michigan records set by legends by a full 2% in his first year starting to meet expectations. Makes perfect sense. And now you will say something like "but the spread inflates completion percentages!!11!" Tate's completion percentage last year was 58%, running the same offense. So no.

Nice work with the individual-team breakdowns.

Gunner Kiel is reconsidering his commitment. Here's a link to an article from a few weeks ago:

I sent an email with an attached screen shot. It may be a Java issue, but I'm not sure.
Looks awesome, but one question:
The right side of the database is cut off for some reason. Is anyone else having this problem?
Cool. I'm at work now, but I'll register later tonight. Any idea when this will start?
