Jake Long should blame Lloyd Carr- despite all of Carr success - he retired too late without a succession plan ruined the program and encouraged people to transfer cause he didn’t like Rodriguez. He basically started our downward spiral. Harbaugh is doing his best to bring the program back to where Lloyd left it. I think Hoke started on the right path with his recruiting. People have unrealistic expectations. At least we’re not MSU reshuffling coaches to fix things- Harbaugh has brought in excellent new coaches to try and get better.
Isn't it too late to really find anyone new? Remember Clemson a few years ago - they called it Clemsoning - people wanted Dabo fired and they stuck with him - look at Clemson now. In someways, maybe admission standards are too strict to admit players who want online classes like other schools are doing. I don't think anyone else will be any different.
LeBron isn’t the greatest - Michael Jordan is. He did it with one team and didn’t have to find other all stars. Kobe was better. Lebron always needed a supporting cast of 2 all stars to win anything. Plus Jordan never walked and travelled.
I think he’s been successful with what he has dealt with. We can always get worse - look at the RR and Hoke years - I’m happy we are winning games we should win. I think transforming the offense to a modern day offense is difficult - we can’t go back to Bo football. Look at how OSU transformed by modernizing their offense. I think the spread attracts athletes. If we fire the coaches there is no guarantees we’d be better - the grass is always greener on the other side. Now if we had the same athletes OSU has - then we lose then it’s on coaching staff.
I was sleeping in south quad and heard my AOL IM go off. Woke up when someone knocked on my door to tell me since I was from Ny metro area. Then someone from the dorm went around checking people with family near Nyc. Not sure how they knew.
My dad went to work and ended up picking people up who were crossing through the bridges and tunnels to leave the city. He was On his way to work that morning but there was traffic so didn’t get into the city and ended up helping other people that day.
i grew up in a town in NJ after 9/11 where most families didn’t have any fathers since most worked at Cantor Fitzgerald :( sad times after and I wish public officials wouldn’t politicize this day or say anything negative about all these people who were lost.
Don’t get battery powered ‘green’ lawn equipment as a lawn mower. I got the EGO blower and carbon fiber weed wacker. I have to constantly charge it and it shuts off if it gets overheated so it takes longer to get things done. The mower ego uses 2 batteries I believe but it’s annoying to keep recharging before I finish the work.
I got a Honda lawn mower with 6 year Honda warranty at Home Depot. Best mower I’ve had and it’s light and self propelled.
4K TVs are cheaper now- you need hd upgrade package or just use an antennae or streaming to benefit. I’d get a LG OLED if your spending the money and looking at LG. I have a samsung QLED and it’s different- wish I listened and paid the extra money for OLED - Costco sells the LG.
I can’t believe he bought a truck from a stranger who he does not know that’s brand new for 3000. Common sense says that’s odd. Maybe he has brain damage from his atv accident. He’s going to wind up in the news a lot unless he learns from this during his jail time.

NCAA is irrevelant and a new system should be set up - I don't see how they don't punish Izzo, Coach K, LSU, Kansas, AZ, etc for cheating or other violations. But punish a decent school giving money for actual school related items, while other players families are getting houses, cars, job.
Success! Brought our toddler to UM - we were in the Club seats so we had a nice quiet place. Toddler ended up watching entire practice clapping when others cheered. She only cried when we had to leave.

There are lots of researchers at the university and can find reputable sources. Unless they injected the cows, pigs, and other animals to feed to the players for dinner.
I think the key is have a decent defense but explosive offense. If you look at the other conferences this is what you notice except in the big ten. Oklahoma is a good example.
I've been to exactly one NFL game - the Detroit Lions against the Buffalo Bills - worst 3 hours ever, players didn't even look like they cared to play, just going through the motions during the Jim Schwartz era.

Why is it that you can buy a drug in Mexico or Asia for 20.00 on a shelf but in the US it’s 300.00 but it’s not covered by the insurance companies. Doctors make no money cause insurance reimbursement goes down and cost to practice goes up that some are going bankrupt. Don’t let the TV doctors who drive a BMW fool you. All the young doctors are struggling to pay back all the debt we incurred to help people.

Didn’t Michigan already play the last game. They cancelled both games, not sure what would change between now and December 19.

Are kids of university employees entities to free tuition? Some universities have that as an option and then can walk on without it a scholarship.

I think Jim Harbaugh would find good replacements if anyone left. He’s done a good job replacing most of his staff after they left.
