Who could do a better job than Harbaugh?

For all of you that still think there isn't an answer to this question...his name is PJ Fleck.

Has already done at Minnesota, with inferior players, what Harbaugh has yet to do at Michigan.  Stop making excuses for Jim Harbaugh.

I thought this was all just "entertainment"...per your words.  Why do you care so much about defending JH.

I don't hate or dislike JH, I just believe he has failed at year 5.  I'm sure he is a decent guy.  As a football coach he has not delivered what he was hired for.  How many more years do you give a guy that has us as the 3rd best team in the B10?

You are defending a Coach that clearly has Michigan trending in a negative way.  I think JH has had enough time and it is clear he cannot get the job done.  Time to make a change for the better of this program.  Or, at the very least, find someone you can pay a whole lot less for the same result.

Why would anyone downvote this? I tried to write a humorous post a while back in which I asked the question "Does Michigan's loss make me less of a person?" then I wrote a long religious explanation about how I wasn't a bad person in God's eyes because the college football team I love lost a game to Wisconsin. Only a couple of people though it was funny (It probably wasn't and I guess the religious stuff was in poor taste), but I was trying to say the same thing as Salvatore here. We put far too much personal stock in the college teams we follow, and it has made the game far less enjoyable.

Michigan lost, they're not an "elite" team, but that doesn't mean we aren't all decent people in one way or another. It's time now to hang your hat on something else for a few months. The season is over.

No he’s not.. reasonable people tend to avoid this site after a loss.  Trending in the wrong direction.. really. Because they won so much before he got here.  Lloyd never beat OSU after Tressel and started the down slide, then we know the rest of the history.  OSU has a 15 year head start on Harbaugh.  He’s gotten us back in the conversation at least.  You put Minnesota in the East, that team has at least 4 losses.  Michigan needs an elite qb that is more than just a pocket passer.  Once we get an elite qb, they will be fine.  I don’t think we have an elite qb on our squad.  My HAWT take is Milton beats out DMac next year.

And Lloyd was a bad coach his last couple of years.  Go look at the ridiculous talent he had on those teams the last 3-4 years.  Not only should he have beaten OSU a couple of times those years, but should have been in contention for a NC.

Also, if Milton is our QB, we win no more than 7 games.

Harbaugh was not hired to bring us back to the late Lloyd years of losing to OSU every year.

Harbaugh, like every coach hired at a big time program, was hired to beat his rival once and a while and win a big ten title once and a while.

Harbaugh has not even elevated us to 2nd best in the big ten, that would be Penn State. Wisconsin is also better than us every other year despite recruiting way lower than us.

I am submitting my resume for the non-vacant head coaching position tomorrow.

Supporting a winning team doesn’t make you a winner, Loser.

What Michigan does or doesn’t do on the field says nothing about you. It doesn’t make you happier )other than for a few short hours), better looking, or healthier.

It’s just entertainment. To think that it is anything more than that is sign of intellectual depravity.

You're dragging this program and fanbase down with your pathetic lack of ambition.  Root for Wisconsin, Iowa, or Illinois if you want to support a mediocre team that does things "the right way" and embarasses itself on the the national stage.  Let us fans who want something better than 4 straight bowl game losses and an 0-5 record against our chief rival talk like adults.

The general consensus on here is the same in the rest of my family, who doesn't post on here. My uncle is giving up his season tickets after 40 years.

It's also a similar consensus as to what everyone around me was saying as OSU put another ass beating on us in our own house.

Harbaugh can "not be okay" with any of this as much as he wants, that doesn't mean he can make it better. Do you think Hoke was okay with losing too?

Ok...How about this...here is what Harbaugh wasn't hired to do.

1.  0-5 vs OSU

2. 4 game Bowl losing streak

3.  Be at best the 3rd best team in the B10 at year 5.

4.  Have the most historic ass kicking in the 100+ year history of Michigan football verses OSU.

5.  Have that same feat almost duplicated this year.

I mean I can go on if you want.
