I had both. What I liked the best was the hard ass head coach and the more laid back assistants. Best of both worlds. Obviously you don't want someone who won't help you improve regardless which style you like.
It's a win/win for both sides. If after his treatment there is a chance he can play football again just having the opportunity to play could be the driving force for the guy to do everything he can to rehab as quick and as effectively as possible. He now has a goal and is setup for success.
How awesome for him! I can't wait to see his progress over the next few years. I'm not expecting him to start and dominate but if he can contribute at a reasonable level it would be unbelievable.
And yeah I am aware I've been in the locker room with plenty of gay guys.. I have gay friends..
How is it any different than men and woman showering and changing together? You don't think most women wouldn't be comfortable with guys there when they are changing or showering? That's a valid question. It's more or less the same thing. You even bring up being raped is absurd.

I would have qualified for this myself
Up vote on the way
UofM as a whole is the better school though.

For the love of God, where are the muppets?
" 're " really goes a long way.
However, anyone know if the school has invested any of that endowment to cloning Romero yet? ;)

Not cool.. Hopefully he can return at some point and have a healthy productive football career!
Would be nice if he really is a superstar!

Does he still change and shower with the team?
They don't let straight woman shower and change with the male athletes and vice versa.
I've often wondered about that after each one of these announcements...
I'm interested to see what Penn St comes up with.
Both those guys are gonna be great!
