CC-Sam Webb has an updated percentage

Submitted by MGoBrewMom on
It is on the Rumor Board at GBW, and is a pay site. It isn't as high as Brian's most recent, but it is higher than yesterday. It is somewhere between 89 and 91% Geez...I'm even getting excited, and I am the Nervous-est of all Nellies.

I love the idea that his gut feeling on the percentage chance that a coach will choose to go to Michigan can't be narrowed down more than between 89 and 91% (or for that matter 75 vs 90%). Like the difference is tangible.

I am also a nervous Nellie. That said, if this does actually "HAPPEN" I am glad I never gave up my season tickets. Ticket sales will go through the roof.

I included the part about decomitting from Michigan first, then turning right around and committing to our most hated rival.  Don't give a shit about stars, but really we have 3 really talented running backs.  If we get a guy like Harris then awesome, but we really don't need a running back in this class.

Disagree completely.  Assuming everyone comes back (not necessarily will happen), you have Justice Hayes for one year, and Smith & Green (2 years ea.), Isaac (3 years) and Drake Johnson (2 years) next season.  Johnson's health situation is very precarious having had 2 knee operations on the same leg.  He may very well not ever come back to where he can play a lot.  And if someone else doesn't come back, that leaves us with potentially 3 available scholarship guys next year and 2 the year after if we sign no one else.  With RB being a high turnover position historically, those numbers are scary.

So, I'd be really happy if they could get either Harris or Weber somehow.

A small sliver of me agrees with you, but we'd have to give up quite a few kids from our own team if what you said was true. Marshall and Kalis come to mind. He's a 17-18 year old kid trying to make the best choice for himself. We ought to be above giving this kid grief no matter where he goes to school.

Plus, subtracting from OSU would be pretty helpful too.
