What you have to consider with Denard's catch is this wasn't a typical one handed catch that has to be cradled into the body for the receiver to fully gain possession.  This was a Larry Fitzgerald-esque one handed grab where it is palmed in his hand on first contact and possession is immediately and obviously gained at that exact point without Denard missing a beat.  It's nowhere near Beckham's catch, which is easily one of the greatest of all time, but seeing as Denard is a RB with (to be honest) suspect hands, the way he made the catch look as seemless as "Nice Hands Larry" would have makes this deserving of a 7-8.

This is definitely not true. Denard stuck the ball with his left hand while in stride. Most recievers could have made the catch, but they would have had to make a dive for it in order to maintain posssession. While it wasn't nearly as good or flashy as the Beckham catch, the difficulty in order to pull that catch off was still pretty damn high. I would give it a 7.5 or so.

The Giants have had a surprising amount of receivers make some very impressive catches in recent years. Like, the kind of plays you don't forget.

You've got the David Tyree helmet catch, Domenik Hixon's ridiculous, bobbling TD reception in 2011, Manningham's Super Bowl grab, and now this one by Odell Beckham Jr.

Denard is the only offenseive bright spot that Jag team has.  He looked pretty good catching the ball out of the backfield yesterday and has embraced that running back role. Something Tebow probably should have done at a different position...

Later that drive, Denard broke out of the backfield and was standing by himself in the endzone when Bortles lofted a fade to Marquise Lee that went incomplete on 4th and goal.
