that's unfortunate, but at least the interest is there on both sides

Am I the only one who doesn't get the Peters funny?

Harbaugh did say that earlier in the week I think. But then a few guys were wearing maize shoes in the game...
|1 week 3 days ago||I've been saying that since I||
I've been saying that since I first saw the replay. At the very least it would be not enough evidence to overturn the call in a real game, but given our luck it would probably be ruled out of bounds.

Not arguing for or against Brown here, but does that really need to be shown? I see no reason why a freshman can't succeed just as well as any other guy in Beilein's offense. We've already had several do it in the last few years.
|1 week 3 days ago||Even if he did pass too||
Even if he did pass too little and dribble too much, which is just not true, you can't talk about anything he did this year without considering the lack of experience or developed talent around him.

LeVert without question. He knows the system better than anyone on the team, he's good on defense which is typically the weakness of a Beilein team (this year was an anomaly), and he's a rare upper classman for us so can provide great leadership. Jaylen Brown is a one and done all the way, and one guy like that is not going to put us over the top to beat a team like Kentucky that will have five more freshmen lottery picks next year. Experience might, as Wisconsin just showed. Aside from those things, from a sheer emotional perspective, Caris is our guy and has a great story, and I hate the one and done game.

I would actually say the opposite. We need him full strength for the end of the season a lot more than for the beginning of the season. We have tons of depth. MAAR can fill in nicely and will hopefully develop into a star in his own right next year. It would be nice to have Spike's veteran leadership and poise but we're actually going to have a more experienced team than we've had in a long time. Also hips are not something to mess around with. Think of all the people who get hip replacements who DIDN'T play college sports.

This announcer is an embarrassment to the profession. So biased towards Kentucky it's absurd.
|1 week 6 days ago||I think the offense just has||
I think the offense just has much less quality depth than the defense so when they get diluted into two teams they're gonna look bad. Very excited about the defense and still cautiously optimistic about the offense in spite of the showing today.

I don't see any offensive recruits committing after this...

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we have stickers this year. Harbaugh had them when he played at Michigan, and he had them when he coached at Stanford.

Where can we get a run down of all the ancillary staff hires under Harbaugh? It seems like theres been like 5 or 6 people hired for the same 2 positions.
|6 weeks 17 hours ago||Those benefits are minimal at||
Those benefits are minimal at best. Why would you want a guy taking time even to scrimmage against the D if he won't even be there for the season? It would be better to put a walk on in there. At least there's a one percent chance he'll see the field. The QBs have had enough mentoring from the 5th year QB, and in Gardner's case, he unfortunately wasn't even very good even though he was a great guy off the field. Also in Gardner's case, he will have no ability to run drills without coaching supervision because the coaches are all new...

If you like jolly pumpkin and are ever in Traverse City, you've got to check out the JP on Old Mission Peninsula. It's far superior to the Ann Arbor location, and not just because it's on Lake Michigan (although it doesn't hurt!).

Not a bball scout by any means but his release on his jumper looks really slow. Maybe the high arc and his height save him from getting blocked though.

If that was really him and he was being sarcastic, he doesn't understand his fan base very well. They are way too dumb to get that joke.

There was no way to interpret that as disgust without being there. It looked like focus to me. He pretty much always has that face on the football field.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||The whole beuaty of a||
The whole beuaty of a Harbaugh team so far in his career is that it doesn't matter if the RB gets caught from behind because he's gonna average 4 yards per carry. If you do the math that equals a touchdown. Doesn't matter if the drives takes 10 seconds or 5 minutes, because both ways you wind up with 7 points. If we get down I have full faith in this staff to have the gameplanning and clock management skills to speed it up and air it out. Clark and Bunting on the field at the same time is gonna open things up so much for both the WRs and the running game. Don't forget that the running game was finally starting to click after two years at the end of last year. It was the passing game that was awful. I can't wait to see this team in action.

I hate when guys have tshirts hanging out from under their jerseys. There were times during games the last couple seasons where I would see that and the guys just looked like scrubs.

I always wonder if recruits actually see these kind of videos when there's a great piece on mgoblue or BTN. I know they're not regularly perusing Mgoblog or mgoblue.com.

I'm with you on all points. This was a weird OP. Only thing I'm surprised at is you thinking Dawkins is better than MAAR.. MAAR has been a revelation from what I've seen. Can score from anywhere. Dawkins is much less well rounded. Doesn't have the handles yet.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||I think a lot of positions||
I think a lot of positions are gonna be totally up for grabs given the new staff's change in preference/focus and the potential for different players taking to the new coaching style differently. That said, I think Lewis is a lock as you said. Pretty much the rest of the defense though could be very different.
