Are people from Wisconsin...mute? Zing?
November 18th, 2010 at 7:04 PM ^
Is the joke that nobody is injured? Or that Wisconsin residents are mutes?
November 18th, 2010 at 7:35 PM ^
Talk to the locals awhile, and you'll get the joke.
Whether or not you think it's funny is another issue...

The post was blank originally.

This post lacks Hard Edge.

pretty much lacks everything.
Edit: Spoke to soon. It must have been my killer instinct.

The silence speaks volumes

funny and informative if you can understand it

their center is out. Good news for MMartin? Hopefully his ankles will hold up and he will be creating bubbles all day for the Wiscy O.
Edit: This was last weeks injury report.

As a current 'Scansin resident, I approve, though I am troubled by the lack of reference to sausage, which must be a typo.

Bucky's fith quarter reports that Nagy is likely to start, but Konz might be available as a reserve.

As a Milwaukeean who lived in Madison for a while and went to school in Michigan, may I say that Michiganders have nothing to say about comical accents. Nothing. To. Say.
November 18th, 2010 at 9:25 PM ^
I'm also from Milwaukee.
November 18th, 2010 at 11:50 PM ^
That's just because you can't tell how silly you sound to us.

Being Canadian I often heard about having an AECK-sent when I drive to the UP each summer. I always thought "what are they talking aboot?"
November 18th, 2010 at 8:02 PM ^
I don't mean this with any malice whatsoever but this wasn't funny and was pretty groan inducing.
November 18th, 2010 at 8:02 PM ^
Talkin' like a yooper there eh?
November 18th, 2010 at 8:13 PM ^
Confirmation that Clay will be out for sure is good news. I didn't know that for sure.
Also Wisconsinites people don't say either "pop" and "pitcher" (ie. picture) which I believe puts us ahead of Michiganders.

I personally enjoyed this post quite extensively. I am laughing as I type this which is no small feat, mind you.

Have not spent enough time up North. No, Traverse City is not up North. I lmao'd and rotfl'd

with a new center in, hopefully there is some miscommunication during the QB Center exchange/snap and we can get a turnover, loss of yards, whatever. It will help if people are LOUD.
November 18th, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
Awesome...you nailed it.

I "got it" and understood what was being conveyed...
It was still annoying.
Listening to someone speak in that manner is bad enough (at least as bad a thick southern drawl). This was the first time I've had the "pleasure" of trying to read it.
November 19th, 2010 at 12:15 AM ^
I don't get the bashing of the up north and southern accents. Guaranteed you have an accent that people in both of those areas would make fun of and don't even realize it.
November 19th, 2010 at 12:30 AM ^
Not "bashing".
I make no assumptions based on a regional accent. I just find it annoying in extreme cases...
I'm married to a southern girl as a matter of fact (it's kinda sexy coming from an attractive female).
I assure you my "accent" is totally bland and uninteresting.
November 19th, 2010 at 1:24 AM ^
Sounds like a uper accent.

I liked the post, the wife is from 'sconsin and sounds just like her...if she were to read the injury report that is...
