that must be an unbelievable punishment. At least you are taking their money. But you risk your children becoming Buckeyes. |
| 7 weeks 19 hours ago | Actually |
California is doing MUCH better than Michigan. The Bay Area is doing very well, though the central valley not so much. It's a very big state in both area and population, and it all depends where one lives. The economy is fairly diverse and not dependent on a single industry like Michigan. Although Columbus may be doing well it is probably the only place in Ohio that is. |

Palo Alto ? Maybe they did not feel the need to call attention to themselves. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | Ca vs Texas and east coast |
Hopefully you did not waste your time in Tex-ass or the Freeze coast. Many MSU grads trying to get into Ca but Wendy's isn't hiring now. Use that UM diploma and keep California Spartan free. |

Didn't your mom tell you not to talk with food in your mouth ? |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | alumni |
I agree, the farther one gets away from one's alma mater , the less the surroundings support that kind of bad behavior. One is not a MSU or UM fan out here just because one grew up in the area. You actually went to college there or your parents did. Out here the big rivalry is Cal vs Stanford. Of course both are top universities and nobody burns couches or poops on cars when there is a big game. It is truly a gentleman's rivalry, like Harvard vs Yale. There is nothing like a UM vs MSU or OSU hatred here. |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | moving to the west coast |
I needed about 2 minutes in San Francisco to move here, even with no job i was gonna do it. My roommate was a Cal grad and set me right. By the way we have a very large group of ex-pats out here, but more because to live out here you HAVE to be competitive. The UM diploma is far more of an asset than the MSU one.The MSU grads out here tend to have worked somewhere else before and only gotten here after a lot of work. They tend to be MUCH more mature than those at home. I think the same is true of OSU grads out here. As i tell them all the time, if Ohio is that good, why do you live here ? |

is probaly my favorite Michigan QB. Boy could he pass and we were kicking ass in the bowl game until he got hurt. |
| 11 weeks 3 days ago | i just hope that they got all |
i just hope that they got all that foul calling out of their system before the Indiana game. At Indiana all teams have to beat the refs as well as Indiana. It seems we will not get the same benefit. |
| 11 weeks 6 days ago | Tigers the better team ? |
Have they won the last two of three World Series ? I missed it if they did. There are a lot of us alumni out here in Nor Cal, and though I root for the Tigers too, the better team SWEPT that series. |
| 27 weeks 5 days ago | terminology |
hey, stop your whining ! all Mich alumni should be able to follow this, even you art and music school people. seriously, i see what you mean about terminology. i am a bs chem and MD so it is easy to follow what he is saying, though i am a cardiologist and not an orthopedist. i admit it would be difficult for non medical professionals to follow it. |

makes me want to burn a couch right now ! |
| 30 weeks 5 days ago | SCUM HATE |
Is that how you wrote your last term paper ? At least here you can usually read several posts before somebody makes an uncalled for comment. On that site it is rare to see a post that does not say "scum" a few swear words, etc. Makes me wonder if the profs grade their students with " wrong scumbag " or "good work asshole. a fucking A- " in spartyland. |
| 33 weeks 3 days ago | Domer dreams |
Everybody knows we threw the game to lure them back into another long term contract. The last 3 years have thoroughly deflated their ego to the point that they called off the series. Evidentally they do not consider msu or purdue to be a threat and msu lost just in case they were having second thoughts. Soon ND will be gripped with their usual sense of overimportance ( "hey we can beat these guys") and cancel sparty or purdue. Once the ink is on the long term contract we will again regularly trounce them. Hoke is one sneaky genius. |

In basketball, yes. But the biggest "Glad somebody else got him" : Pryor. Could you imagine him as a Wolverine ? |

that was to go on another thread and now I cannot find it ( major embarassment moment ) |
| 1 year 19 weeks ago | luck |
has not been on our side much in the past, but it wins games. In a few years nobody will care ( least of all me ) that perhaps we were lucky at Notre Dame and the Sugar Bowl. There will be no asterisk next to our victory saying we were outgained and did not deserve to win. Certainly in many old OSU games we won the stat battle but lost the game. True luck is a chance occurance. Winners make it happen more frequently in their favor by some intangable factor that doesn't show in the stats. This team certainly had that factor. |
| 1 year 19 weeks ago | national championships |
Don't have to worry about location since it will be Urban Meyers vs Dantonio each year until eternity |
| 1 year 19 weeks ago | enough |
Enough of that sugar-coating Weinreb ( could not resist the irony ), tell us how you really feel . I guess since Urban is going to win endless National Championships before the season even starts, I don't know why we in the rest of the Big1G even feel it necessary to field teams or worse yet have the audacity to make tOSU play football when we already know the inevitable outcome. We as well as Sparty should enjoy our little insignifigant victories before we are crushed by years of tOSU supremacy. Woe be us for basking in this brief moment of false glory. |
| 1 year 25 weeks ago | tosu and msu |
are great places for dumb people, atheletes or not ! |
| 1 year 25 weeks ago | How was |
that NOT a TD ? I have been looking for a replay, and having looked at it F + R I can't see how that's not a score. To say there's enough there overturn the ruling of touchdown on the field is more than outrageous. What if tosu had scored on that last drive ? |
| 1 year 25 weeks ago | Urban |
Meyer has changed the course of fidelity., Never in a million years would I think a coach could have CHEATED ON HIS WIFE WITH 5 CO EDS WHILE AT FLORIDA. Hell, people are buying Harry Rheem t shirts ! |
| 1 year 25 weeks ago | 5 COEDS YOU SAY ? Not at the same time. |
Well it wasn't with little boys and nobody caught him so he is still wholesome enough for tosu. |
| 1 year 25 weeks ago | Wow, people in that website |
Wow, people in that website are literate, not ILiterate like the sparty and tosu sites. where's the fun in reqding if there's only sarcasm and not swearing and vitrol ? |
| 1 year 25 weeks ago | urban |
Actually the best that could be said about the tOSU situation is that we have a short time frame to take advantage of this situation for recruiting, and to give Hoke a chance to get us in the (good) news instead of them. So far he's done all that can be expected. Hes done a great recruiting class, given us a 10-2 season, and attracted a lot of attention. He should be the leader in the " Coach of the year" award. The only thing he has yet to do is win a bowl game, but that would be asking a lot. We've made as much hay as possible here while tosu has sufferred. Given the incredible advantages any coach has at tosu, we must assume Meyer will be successful. Given the NCAA's inconsistency ( USC vs how they treat the SEC ), I expect NO meaningful punishment. |
