He was out for Penn State, I believe, with an injury that was never disclosed, but I also remember at least seeing him on the sideline in East Lansing. If he was in the game at any point, he didn't pick up any official stats according to the box score I've got. I think Chesson's most prolific performance so far from the standpoint of receiving yards was Rutgers with something like 34 or 35 yards.

to Jake's Butt is a personal question that should only be answered by. Not acceptable on this board.

One of many TDs that have not been realized because we don't have a QB.

*sigh*

The replay on that was hard to watch. Nobody was even near him, it was either a TD or a massive gain. *sigh*

Spielman was spot on with his "almost" philosophy on Michigan. The only problem with it is that every player almost makes a play a lot and therefore their are not many plays where everything works.

Also have to be seen by the QB on those that you get out on.

Interesting. I always thought he'd be more of a nacho guy - extra jalapenos, of course.

Mattison and Hoke have a standing wresting engagement before every halftime. Their schedule cannot be disturbed for something as insignificant as either of their careers at Michigan.

After that footwork drill in shorts, he should be in the running for the Biletnikoff by now.

It will be awesome when the current players see the difference between the joke of a coaching staff we have now, to the elite coaching staff that will be brought in next.
Maybe 'elite' is pushing the envelope, but god damnit competent would be considered elite compared to what we have now.

were bad talent evaluators in addition to being bad player developers, play callers, motivators, counters, etc?
It would not shock me if a lot of the talent on this team just isn't all that talented in addition to being poorly coached.
October 27th, 2014 at 12:48 PM ^
Unlikely. How many of our players weren't offered by at least one of our main rivals? If our coaches didn't evaluate them properly, then no coaches did.

and I don't know when said QB is walking through the door. QBs 1-3 right now are pretty shaky.
Here's to hoping Speight is something special...or call me again in 2018 when we have a good QB again

who thought I saw him stumble trying to get up after the targeting on the punt return? When I watched the replay it wasn't as obvious, but I was surprise that it was no where even mentioned.
October 27th, 2014 at 9:17 AM ^
He looked pretty wobbly after the hit, but there was no mention of that on the broadcast.
October 27th, 2014 at 9:32 AM ^
He is 3rd WR on depth chart, he size and speed!

It is obvious that Devin is seeing Dead Receivers. So maybe Chesson is trying to play dead to see some passes come his way.
