Tony Pettite, small dick syndrome asshole, is as spineless and less of a leader than dog shit.  I really hope UM pulls out everything, and gives the BIG the middle finger going out the door of this bullshit conference.  Get bent Tony, and BIG.

I think you mean Pettiti declared war on Michigan and there is absolutely no coming back from this ever.  We 100% need to get out of the conference as soon as contractually feasible.

The relationship with the league and the other schools is irrevocably shattered.  Fuck these twats

No, I said what I mean.  By calling him out by name in the statement, Michigan is sending a pretty strong signal that they are prepared to see this through.   One of the two will be gone when the smoke clears.  I see no way Michigan will stay in a conference that he is the commissioner of.

It is past time to go fully nuclear!   There is no reason to hold anything back at this time.   Burn the B1G to the ground and leave nothing

Something tells me this is about to backfire in a huge way. Even if Coach doesn't get back on the sidelines, I have a feeling this guarantees he's going nowhere and I have a feeling that if we don't make the CFP, then JJ is coming back. Might just be emotion speaking on the JJ part, but something tells me this is one pissed off team right now.

Here comes the judicial ass kicking that is going to cost the conference $$$ and that fool of a commissioner his job.   First he screws up the television contracts by selling content he did not have permission to sell, now he does this... If the legal costs are big enough he will end up being a lame duck.

This is the same sort of actions that shredded the old Southwest Conference, where it ended up everyone was looking for dirt on the other teams with the hope of screwing them over when it mattered most.

Rather than join another existing conference, I say we start our own.  Can pull in a lot of the Pac 10 teams still in flux and call it something new.  Maybe even Notre Dame.  Hand pick the new commissioner for it.  Negotiate a new tv deal.  And put a clause in that prohibits members from playing certain teams (i.e., OSU) ever.

I get what you're saying, but it's kind of like the screwing over the Rose Bowl vote in 1973 that helped fuel the war between Bo and Woody. It's the sort of thing that makes you want Michigan to kick their ass even worse every year.

What's ludicrous is that UM gets this shit treatment all the time in the first place. The conference's premier school in just about everything. They should be the showcase. Instead, they're the damn footstool. Next set of negotiations, UM needs to demand a share of revenues more commensurate with their contribution.

This response was canned and ready to go.  Generic in that it doesn't specific identify any action, but specific enough that it hits the salient points.  This tells me that UM's lawyers were ready for a host of different reasons and methods in which the B1G might implement a suspension.

I feel confident that UM will win.  In many different ways...
