Turgeon looks like a turtle.
wow... he is a crybaby and needs to accept that Michigan is a better team! GO BLUE!!!
in the video shows that Coach Howard walked up to the ref, telling him that his player was fouled on the play, Turgeon turned and started yelling at him for no reason... that is why Coach Howard blew up... GO BLUE!
The last call was out of bounds to MD when it should have been our ball, off MD, not Hunter.
Howard's arm was pointed as if to signal should have been our ball.
Refs also let Morsel off when he threw it out of bounds under the basket, Chaundee remonstrated.
Then the incident at top of the key when Morris said he was lucky not to be called.
whiny bitches
"we're not gonna take it.... anymore!!!!"
Martelli said it’s been going on but game 2 was quiet. I assume it started with the HD glares at their bench and has probably escalated from there.
One of his players (Morsell) likely did or said something incredibly stupid to enrage Howard and this is Turd-geon circling the wagons.

Here's some double mint twins for your double post.

Wait, what did Martelli say?
Damn phone! Ugh!!
So nice you said it thrice.
"It's March."
He may have said that with a few expletives whiles charging towards him and slamming his hands down and pointing his fingers
might he of?

Just went to look at Coach Turtle’s record at Maryland....and someone’s already gotten a hold of his Wiki page.
Too late, I just looked and whatever had been added was edited out 2 minutes earlier.
Dude is trying not to snitch on his players. Morsell came over to midcourt making some weird (Izzo ™) hand motions. Maybe he said "Don't talk to me." My guess is Juwan was trying to tell him to shut his players up.
So...this whole thing is about Turgeon being upset that Howard was "out of the coaching box" during a timeout?
Seriously??? We had a game where the opposing coach was ON THE DAMN COURT in the middle of a play. One of our player almost ran into him. I can't remember which game.
This seems like a ridiculous thing to get all upset about.
I don't believe Turd-on one bit. Juwan was in the NBA 19 seasons and has heard every bit of trash talk. Something egregious had to have been said for him to go off like that.
"Juwan Howard says Turgeon was yelling at him for being out of the coaching box. Howard took issue to it, then Turgeon said "don't talk to me! Don't ever talk to me!" then lunged at Howard. Howard, raised by his grandmother and Chicago, says he got defensive and took offense to it"

Sure, because the dude who spent 20 years in the NBA is going to go off like that because some one said "don't talk to me"
Suck eggs, Turgeon.
It looks like what it is. Juwan was approaching his players and maybe called out to Turgoen, perhaps in a friendly way about the yapping. Hard to know. Turgeon then turned around and stomped at Juwan yelling, "Don't, Don't. Don't talk to me."
I mean, I meditate a lot and try to be chill, but it's odd to have another human being come at you stomping the court and yelling don't talk to me. I guess I'm the only person with a temper on the blog. Those words coupled with the aggressiveness might have set me off as well.
Actually, I remember a coach who annoyed the piss out of me when I used to coach, and I ran up the damn score on his team in our second game, and he talked to me during the game telling me to call off a press. We got into it at the handshake, and I had to be pulled back by my team. Shrug.
I believe the announcers initially said it was Howard talking specifically to Dickinson who was in front of the Maryland bench and was saying to use your head....but as he was walking toward Dickinson...it becomes clear that Howard had reoriented to something on the Maryland bench.
And Juwan basically confirmed this when he said, "When guys charge you..." Look, Turgeon said Don't, Don't, Don't talk to me and stomped towards Juwan in an angry way. It isn't a conspiracy of some secret comment. I also don't like it when people shout don't in my face and stomp at me. In fact, it often makes me angry.
I don't know that there is a proper take away here. Ideally, Juwan would let it slide off him. He didn't, but it's not some big change in the way I perceive him. Now I know he has a hot temper when pushed Me too. Cool. We're both human. Glad he's the coach of Michigan.
Go Blue!!
Sigh. Comments are up from Juwan. He confirms the stomping and moving towards him set him off. That doesn't make Mark Turgeon the worst coach ever or an asshole. It doesn't make Juwan the worst ever for responding. I don't know why sports has turned into politics where the other team always has to be a villain for us to root for our damn team. Brad Davison, sure, he's dirty. But come on everyone. It happened.
I'm more interested in how hurt Livers is and whether Michigan is going to have to play zone against a 5 out team because they gave up a lot of good looks that Maryland missed.
Agreed. Hopefully this is the end of this, forever. Obviously, there's some yapping going between the players because of Hunter and his recruitment, but that will die a natural death by next season. No reason to turn this into anything ridiculous.
My theory, and it's nothing more than that, is that Dickinson was jawing at Turgeon a bit and Turgeon started screaming and pointing at Dickinson. Howard took offense to Turgeon engaging one his players like that.
Juwan states Turgeon charged him, and he reacted/went off in self-defense, to his regret: Turgeon, per Juwan:
'Juwan, I'm not going to let you talk to me. You don't talk to me ever again.'
Then, according to Juwan, "He charged at me."
Utterly demeaning.
LOL!! The mouth breathers over at RCMB are eating this up... They really love to hate Juwan Howard!
Well I guess they have lots of free time today after taking that L.
Someone should ask them what time their team plays tomorrow.
Well, they were right about Martelli being the coach!
This Tur(d)geon sounds like a real a**-hole . . . and Morsell not far behind.
little point guard?
Turgeon can fuck off
He (Turd-Jon)said at least twice “I’ve done things right for 34 years”. I’m more inclined to believe that is a shot at the fab five so he probably did say the banner thing... just my opinion.
Turgeon's vague press conference answer is like a vague attention seeking Facebook post claiming some slight by some anonymous person.
Turgeon's body language and blink rate so clearly says he's lying his ass off.
Turgeon lost it for a moment. You can see and here him screaming “don’t talk to me!!! “while coming at Juwan. Turgeon looked like an angry toddler. Lol.
I'm glad he addressed it. As I collect some minuses from the savvy readers of this blog for not claiming that Mark Turgeon should be burned at the stake. Sigh. I remember the halcyon days of old when I used to come to Mgoblog to read some of the best sports writing on the internet. Now I come hear to watch Michigan fans engage in discourse about other players and teams that rivals Fox News with its conspiracy theories. What a time to be alive! !
More like, Turd-gin.
Sour grapes for getting his ass kicked three times in one season.
Further context, Turgeon supposedly yelled at Juwan
“don’t hang the banner because your banners come down”
Perhaps true, but still disingenuous. Full quote, per Juwan, is much more insulting:
"'Juwan, I'm not going to let you talk to me. You don't talk to me ever again.' He [Turgeon] charged at me [Coach Howard]."
If so, Turgeon's selective editing waters it down to the point it's practically false. Right words (a segment), utterly watered down in tone.
A-hole.
meanwhile the media that was asking questions, specifically the Baltimore Sun (?) reporter really dropped the ball. Turgeon described calling the league office and complaining and the Sun reporter asked a follow-up about the banner comment instead of asking what he was complaining about to the league office. Of course the next reporter asked about Mike Smith and then that ended that
