Neg away.  I don't care.  I'm too excited to care.

I have Tiger tickets (part of my season ticket package) for Saturday. 7:00 game. There happens to be a different big game that day. This is the 'Chi sox last visit to Comerica this year.
I'm very good at staying "in the bubble" and watch the entire recording of games I miss live (only road games, haven't missed a home game in 11 years) commercials and all, to keep the situation as real as possible.
But if I go to the Tigs, game, all I will think about is the football game.... If I stay home and watch Michigan, I miss the last "if we win this were only ___ games out" game.

Help?

Please?

I can see them having the UM-Bama score on the board permanently during the game.  I've never been to that ballpark so I'm not sure how big the boards are, but if there's space I can see them having a running score with time remaining in the game and all.  There's not going to be a way to avoid it.  It'll probably be on some of the concourse TVs too.

Easy choice. Bring the technology with you to watch the Alabama game while you're actually at the Michigan game. Also, I think the White Sox will win, so why would you want to go? (Disclaimer:  I'm a Sox fan, so of course I think they'll win!)

At least you have a choice. I have to be at a wedding reception. It technically starts at 7pm, but the food is being served right at 8pm. The only silver lining is that maybe around 8:30 or 9pm, I can go to the bar in the reception hall and watch the game. And, by 9:30pm, I can go home, 5 minutes away, and watch the second half.

Get married outside of college football season Steve, do straighten out the groom on that and remind him he does not want his anniversary to coincide with an important college football game.  A man has to have his priorities!

Agreed.  My brother was once asked to be a groomsman for one of his friends' weddings.  That wedding fell on the day of the Ohio State game.  My brother declined.  Priorities are good to have.

He's a Navy Helicopter Pilot who just finished up all his training. Belonging to the Navy, they tell him when he can have leave and when he can't. What are ya gonna do . . . it is what it is. As for me, it could be worse, because I still should be able to see more than half the game.

I got married December 3rd specifically to miss football season.  My (future) brother-in-law was getting married in June and we didn't want to get married close to that, so that left fall or later.  Can't do fall because of football!  So that left sometime between the OSU game and Xmas.

As was said in that classic "Angels in the Outfield", "Hey, it could happen." Pretty sure Brian and Tom thought our chances are 25 percent (from the NYC alumni event thread). I like those odds. Bring em' on.
