Poor buckeyes getting it from every angle everywhere they look. They should be thankful the Michigan chapter on the moon didn't bring up a huge "Fuck Ohio" sign for them to stare at for all of eternity

Congratulations DAG! Everytime I hear about the Tony’s I think about Triumph the Insult Comic Dog ….”Nicholson, Pitt, Jolie these are just a few of the names that won’t be anywhere near this place. It’s a cavalcade of nobodies!”

Oh, the joy this team has brought to us all.  We really can have nice things!!

Watching the game again on DVR.  Picking up where I left off last night, 9:14 in the 4th Q after good guys just went up 35-20.

Feeling pretty good about our chances.

This is so great. I have been actively searching for podcasts that came out the week after The Game to relive that beautiful moment in time. Let's not lose that feeling.

I'm going to have to go back and watch ILC.

Back before Angelo's remodeled, I was a weekday breakfast counter regular and so was Jake -- I'd find him sitting on the far end of the counter just drinking coffee, closest seat to the kitchen "open window," near Angelo himself.  Jake didn't hold court there like he did around campus, just getting the day off to a good start, mostly minding his business in his outrageous outfits.  At that time, I was funding my college (maybe early law school?) with student loans and work, but I figured I was still better off than Jake and so I'd occasionally buy his morning starter.

When Jake was holding court around campus, I loved to "brake for Jake" and chat him up between his (not very good but inspired) takes on old blues classics.  I have an old cassette of his stuff somewhere in the basement.  Not sure I ever listened to it, and certainly don't have a cassette player any more, but it brings back memories.  If I find it I'll post a pic.

One night Jake pulled me aside in front of the Kelsey Building (not a very well lit spot on State) and tried to interest me in a slightly used TV.  His sales pitch was very entertaining, but no buyer was I.

Miss you Jake!
