One big tip I can give you in Rome is to go to St. Peters Bascilica as soon as they open up. I am thinking it is 8 am. My wife and I were one of maybe 6 couples in the whole church. You can get pictures of everything by yourself and if you want to walk the steps to the top of the dome you can without the 3 hour line. We then walked over to see the Sistine Chapel. A line there but went pretty quick. You will save about 4 hours in your day just by doing this. Enjoy. Many great tips here. Made me remember going to some of the places. What I wouldn't give for a dish of gelato. That stuff is the best in the world. Pompeii was my favorite thing to see outside of Rome. Naples is a disgusting city and Florence was a fun day trip. Enjoy!! |

I am not opposed really to either school. Notre Dame would be nice but does that take away from the strength of our out of conference scheduling? We won't take on another tough team so we will get 3 early pancakes with ND in our conference schedule every year and with MSU and OSU as guaranteed conference foes we will have a rough road to hoe every year. Pitt on the other hand could be a great fit but I have to agree that their stadium would not be a great fit for college football. I am a Steelers fan and I have made the trek several time to Pittsburgh and for the Steelers I think it is awesome, but for a college game I am not sold. I agree that these are the better options out there for the Big Ten. I would not be upset with Kentucky only because it gets us more exposure to the South but I doubt they would leave the SEC. Anyway, my two cents. Go Blue!!!! |

Michigan 27 Go Blue!!!! I just can't predict a loss. It's just not in me. I believe we have a shot. I see how bad OSU played against Purdue. I think Pryor will try to do too much because it was between us and them. We are going to rip him a new one. BG hopefull will break him in two. Our defense is going to play inspired tomorrow and as long as the offense can keep it moving they will stay inspired. I am truly feeling that this game is ours and that Little Tressel boy should be scared. Really scared.... |

To the team? Loved it. Got me fired up. I am sure I will wake up at 1 am just so I don't oversleep to leave at 5:30 to get up there to watch the game. I know the guys can do it. We need the Big House rocking to help them out. I will be doing plenty of yelling every time little bucky has the ball. Go Blue!!!! |

Hopefully there will be a different day of the week TBD. I am always depressed on Jan 1 when I don't have Michigan football. I can't wait for that to return. I think it will next season for sure. Go Blue!!!! |

Walkerton is in the South Bend market and ABC 57 WBND is the affiliate. It is a horrible channel and their HD is lacking. Lets hope that it is picked up on ESPN2. I live in Mishawaka about 5 minutes from the ND. My daughter was supposed to play a softball tournament this weekend in Plymouth so we sold our tickets to the game. Now we are not playing and I am sitting on my couch. I am none too happy. Go Blue!!!! |

The only booing I heard at the game yesterday was aimed at the refs for the lousy pass interference call. Go Blue!!!! |
