Tons of talent and experience returning in 2018
Michigan will go from one of the youngest teams in the country to one of the most experienced teams in CF by next year. The returning contributors:
Offense Defense
D. Peoples-Jones T. Kinnel
J. Bushell-Beatty J. Metellus
C. Ruiz R. Gary
B. Peters A. Solomon
T. Black D. Bush
G. Perry K. Hudson
S. McKeon D. Long
Z. Gentry L. Hill
C. Evans N. Furbush
K. Higdon C. Winovich
M. Onwenu B. Mone
B. Bredeson B. Watson
K. Walker A. Thomas
I. Bunting
T. Wheatley
E. McDoom
K. Crawford
The experience and struggles these players endured this year will help them next year. Plus year three for this D. Brown defense that will have everyone back minus McCray and Hurst has a chance to be light years better than what we saw this year. I think Peters has a chance to be a great quarterback, and will get better with experience and timing with all the receivers coming back next year.

A random poster here posts something that offends you and shatters your emotional well being. Life must be really hard for you. Maybe you can get the mods to ban me so as not to offend you again.

The only thing lazier and more tired than calling someone a snowflake is that person retaliating by calling the first person a snowflake back.

is candy @ss. Yeah I know they're good and have all the talent but crap sakes, their schedule is a joke, they're not running the gauntlet of the current B1G.

They've won 4 out of the last 8. Going back to just before they won back to back titles seems to be a convenient way to make your point but misleading at best. They have won a national championship on average every other year for almost a decade.

I'm 32. I've been positive year, after year, after year. I remember from like ages 18-28, going into the season with a big grin on my face, reading Lindy's magazine and getting excited about the season
I can't put myself through that shit anymore. These guys aren't worth it. They don't beat anyone. So at this point, I'm at the "show me" stage. Until then, it's all noise.

if you feel that way, why are you still here?

Wow, 32? Are you a MAN? Go follow OK St - you can have a coach you sound like!

If you weren't emotionally attached to it as well, you wouldn't be here. Quit acting like you're above it all.

But in the eyes of many here we are considered shitty fans. Next year will another long wait. Here's to hoping 2019 brings some swagger back.

Mike Leach does more with less than anyone in America;
the JH hype train has left the building....

Mike Leach consistently loses to FCS teams and consistently shits the bed at the exact moment, every single year, when Washington State starts to look their best.

Oh, look who's back after a loss! Where were after the wins? Nothing to bitch about then, eh? YOu do nothing but bitch, why don't you go follow another team? We would all be happier!

RR years where we did not even beat the teams we should have beat. Also losses to the top teams were always blowout losses.

The "outcoached" meme is tired and dumb. Let's take a look at all of our losses under Harbaugh, with our opponent's final ranking in parentheses. Rankings for this year are current:
- Year 1: @Utah (17) - First game with a new coach coming off a 5-7 season. One pick-six was the difference? Outcoached? Probably not. Coaching was probably the only reason we were competitive.
- Year 1: MSU (6) - I don't know what to say to you if you think we were outcoached here. We went back and forth with a playoff team and had the lead with just moments to go before possibly the most improbable play in CFB history happened. Outcoached? No.
- Year 1: OSU (4) - We got straight up rocked by a superior team. Outcoached? I guess.
- Year 2: @Iowa (NR) - Outcoached I guess. Weird things happen in Kinnick. See God-Emperor superior's coach's performance there this year.
- Year 2: @OSU (6) - We went on the road and went into 2OT against a playoff team. Any play could have made the difference in this game. Outcoached? No.
- Year 2: FSU (8) - Tight game against a very good opponent. We held the lead with less than a minute remaining. Outcoached Probably not.
- Year 3: Michigan State (17) - This game was a sludge fart where we fumbled 3 times and threw 2 picks. This is the classic "we were outcoached" game. Were we? I say no.
- Year 3: Penn State (10) - We got rocked by a superior team. Outcoached? Yes.
- Year 3: Wisconsin (5) - Played tight on the road against a veteran team. Once our second best quarterback went out, it went south quickly. Outcoached? No.
IMO there are 2-3 games up there where we were "outcoached" over a three year period. This happens to every single coaching staff sometimes. It's also easy to forget the fact that our ten wins in 2015 happened almost exclusively because our coaching staff did an outstanding job turning 5-7 into 10-3 overnight, and that our almost-playoff run in 2016 was only two years separated from a God-awful team in 2014. I would like to close by pointing out that we were not supposed to be all that good this year according to anyone except the most devoted Michigan fans. Due to our overwhelming inexperience, Vegas had us at 8.5 wins and that seems basically dead on. MSU is the only loss to a team outside the top 10 this year and that was a 5 TO debacle. There's only so much coaches can do to prevent fumbles. Personally, I'd love for this team to get another crack at MSU with Peters at the helm.

Well uncle Leo, I guess I look back to the Iowa loss and I remember guys like Deveon, Jehu and Wilton making huge mistakes in that game or not being able to do much. Not exactly a super talented nationally ranked trio there. They were Hoke's fill in misses in recruiting if I remember correctly.

It won't mean much without a coherent offensive plan. After there were magically no special wrinkles left for iowa and osu last year (pepcat, lol) and after whatever the fuck our offense has been trying to be this year, I have a hard time being excited.
