Go UW. I want every other conference to be a tire fire as well. Let them all burn.

Josh Nunes throws a bomb to the 25 yard line or so. The yardage marker totally fails in its duty as a receiver.
In kind, Washington does everything possible to make sure the 4th down spot would be about where Nunes' completion to the ground would be.

That's because it's being played at the Seattle NFL stadium, not exactly on campus.

was also a top 10, college gameday, primetime featured game. This is Washington football on a Thursday

You mean you all aren't watching the spectacle of the NFL officials returning?! Along with the Browns-Ravens, oh-so intriguing, match-up..

You really should check down to a running back or a tight end if you want a short pass for some quick yards. The end zone sucks at catches and, for the Seahawks, whose field you are on, just has not been able to complete the process and retain control of the ball.

Washington is doing a very good job of moving the ball so far.
September 27th, 2012 at 9:27 PM ^
They will need to keep up the quick passes and read option plays, their offensive line is hilariously bad due to to injuries. I like Keith Price though, he's a gamer.

Washington has some of the very best uniforms in all of college football.....shame that they're breaking the WIKKED SIKK BLACKK UNIFORMZZ for this game, cause it's hideous.
September 27th, 2012 at 9:29 PM ^
I really like Stanford's all whites. Keeping it plain and simple does wonders for a college football uniform.

Thank you. It appears I have finally found a kindred heart in the midst of all of the high-fashion aficionados who populate this website. Take the new uniforms with you back to Paris, nancy-boys.

Nicely done.

Stanford's defense looks legit. The offense may be suffering from being on the road. I thought all the love Stanford got was a bit overdone, especially the idea of a national championship appearance. Sure, it could happen, but I'd put a number of teams ahead of them as of now.

Didn't they say that like all of UWs OL is injured or something of this game?

UW is in the Emerald City, yo. Didn't you see Singles?

Stanford better win this game by 7. I got kids to feed.

Go Huskies. My (other) school.
September 27th, 2012 at 10:45 PM ^
and one of them is the Washington Huskies. I like their brand, their look, their tradition under James. I'd like to see them be more competitive again, and also see them on Michigan's home-and-home schedule in the ND aftermath.

I wonder how much UW paid to install a video screen at the open end of the stadium that's has the wrong orientation? Maybe they're just planning to going to watch footage from iPhone users who don't know to shoot in portrait mode?
September 28th, 2012 at 12:22 AM ^
Probably $0, since the stadium belongs to the Seahawks.

I just turned it on and that TD was the only play I have seen. So it has been a tire fire on both sides or just Washington?
September 28th, 2012 at 12:01 AM ^
It has to be tough to go on the road on a thursday night, luckily when we go out to Salt Lake City in a few years its the opener, even though Rice Eccles is a small stadium its just a tricky situation, and it gets pretty loud there.

look at that. A quick throw to an outside WR who was getting HALF the cushion the ND corners were giving our guys, and he breaks one tackle and scores.

Per Twitter: @CardinalReport Stanford suffers its first Pac-12 loss to a team not named Oregon since falling to Cal in 2009.

Just got home from the game. Exciting finish, and great win for UW.
I will say though, I am very glad that UM's team is not named after a canine breed, and that we do not celebrate big plays and defensive stops by chanting "woof woof" at the top of our lungs.
September 28th, 2012 at 10:27 AM ^
And Stanford fan's back-to-back, well, my gosh, it's like we were all watching two different games.
I confidently explained to a friend that we might beat Notre Dame because there's no way we'd have such an ill-conceived offensive game plan as Borges, no disrespect to y'all. And then...THAT happened.
It gets better, right? It all gets better? Please tell me it gets better.
