Spring football scrimmage(!) highlights
What a great day! Basketball beats Ohio and MGoBlue posts a video of the Saturday football scrimmage.

As always, every play is positive. Stingy defense/Unstoppable offense.
Those ten plays mirror about 10,000 plays we watched last season, so it isn't like he's basing his pessimism soley on those ten plays. Honestly....the last time we saw our defense play like that it was the last time they played against our offense. Not a great sign IMHE, but more than anything I would like to be wrong about that.
Trucked Hollowell @ 1:04 minute mark!! Moar plz!
...but Shallman has almost 70 pounds on Hollowell. If he isn't physically dominating him, I'd be a little concerned.
No kidding and Shallman will have 50 pounds on every other DB in the country. Point of my post was to express my excitement over Shallman's natural ability to do this on a regular basis.
I noticed that as well. Of course, he's massively bigger than Hollowell, but still a nice highlight.

SC Top 10 time.
I refuse to get excited about the players competing hard and making plays in scrimmages until they prove it agasint cupcakes like Akron
that would be nice too.
Actually, I thought the Offense looked stingy while the defense looked unstoppable.
It seems like Jack Miller is running with the ones at left guard. Looked that way in a previous video as well. Is Bosch injured?
Were we looking at Wyatt Shallman out there in a few clips with #33? If so, I actually was liking what I was seeing. He got to the edge rather quickly on one run.
These videos make me want August to get here sooner, even despite the tremendous success of other varsity sports at Michigan.

The really horrible winter has made me want August to get here sooner. And yeah, football.
who is our RB #33? shrugged off a couple of tackles, once going to his left, then later going to his right. liked it.
-One run that went more than 2 yards.
-Receivers running wide open.
This could be another disaster.
is that you are trying to gain useful knowledge from this.
But, none went for negative yards!
um...didn't the first two go for neg yards?
... to "4 Mississippis" before demolishing our OL.
When the first comment is "Frank Clark started off strong" the first thought to go through my head was "This is a suprise?"
I remember last spring/fall camp we thought the d-line was a strong point. Now we realize it's because the o-line was awful. It's hard to tell what's what any longer.
Like a few others have said, I don't think we're really going to know much about the team until September.
Bunch of idiots so far trying to predict the season on 2 minutes of the first scrimmage.
we vote on the September Heisman.

No, we're not predicting it off "two minutes of the first scrimmage." We are predicting it off of the same things happening over and over again that happened last season. It's not very difficult to watch that film and see that our DL (which wasn't good at all last year), dominated the OL (which was atrocious a season ago).
Likewise, it wasn't very difficult to see WR's (who couldn't get open outside of Gallon a year ago) running free all day vs a secondary (that essentially covered no one last year).

Looks to be running with the 1's consistently, meaning he passed Glasgow (unless he's hurt).

There have been lots of positive rumblings about Hurst.

Closey McCloseup on camera for this season again it looks like.

I'll go with, it was 2 minutes of the 4th or 5th practice and it deserves neither the first or second.

Shallman runs with some power and has a bit of shiftiness. Nothing special from Green. Speight reminds me of John Navarre.
