South Carolina vs. Texas A&M stream

Submitted by ThadMattasagoblin on

Anyone have a stream considering about 1 percent of the midwest has SEC network and it's a big game?

Going through the known games for the next few weeks, a fair number of the SEC Network games are going to be on WatchESPN, so it seems like if the sidebar content does not interest you at all and you only want the odd game, there's not a whole lot of point in getting the SEC Network outside of the southeastern US perhaps (where I imagine its is simply part of your provider package).

In Southeast Michigan, I believe the SEC Network HD is on Xfinity/Comcast channel 700.

Not sure if that's the extra "sports tier" or not.

I don’t yet have access to the SEC Network where I live (sort of like living in a “non-pony country”) due to the backwards attitude/greed of my cable provider, but from all I’ve been able to see online of the SEC Network, it’s clearly benefitting from the ESPN affiliation.

While I appreciate that the Big Ten Network may be generating some healthy revenue for the member schools, and I love having both (a) the Big Ten Network’s game broadcasts (usually with the sound turned down) when Michigan’s not appearing on the many networks of ESPN and (b) the occasional repeats of some Michigan victories from the past, for me, the Big Ten Network suffers from both a lack of star talent and production values that scream,”We’re just like your local access high school sports channel, but we sometimes have Gus Johnson calling a football or basketball game.”

Apparently I can't do watchespn for sec network as a time warner customer, I'm pissed, don't want to deal with the potential viruses of a firstrow stream, thought I was going to get to watch this but I guess not.

Funny thing is that if this type of game happened anywhere else, people would be crapping all over USC's poor defense.  But this being SEC country, it's all about a great offense (which aTm has) and how in the SEC elite teams are everywhere.  Replace this with Minnesota and Iowa and you would hear a completely different narrative.

How many "is there is stream?" threads will we have this year? I think it will be over thirty.
