If these were unspoken secrets, I have to wonder why anyone would decide to play in these leagues in what is almost an equal pedastal to the NHL with College Hockey and have to believe this only swings things further towards NCAA.
Haven't we already seen a dramatic increase in transfers from those classes though (including one from Neb)? I dont have anything beyond anecdotal evidence but it seems the restrictions are loosening from that perspective
Would be interesting to see SEC minus UGA and Bama - suspect even with Tenn Fla and others it is pretty lopsided with those two. Transfer portal could end up really benefitting us in the end here with NIL and paying for actual college performance being much easier to fund and Michigan having a lot of funds looking for rational use

Will Johnson will be the core of our secondary, JJ the core of our offense, and Donovan (who i thought was 5 but guess just highly rated 4) all will be the most talented players on our team by a mile. No coincidence that this is basically a 100% hit rate on 5-stars being starters so lets hope this is just the beginning of that uptick with getting more national (and definitely Ohio) players
Hell even Okie is flashing as one of the most important D Line pieces next year
Extremely short-sighted, if he wanted to put the recruiting impact that the Vikings dalliance had (no matter the size) fully in the rearview he would be signing a contract with a very large buyout - and maybe lots of guaranteed money to throw him a bone. Completely put to rest any NFL teams coming after him for the foreseeable future like he said when he didnt get the job

Pretty simple, no NFL offer that is appealing, get to stay and coach at your alma matter - and JH is getting to dent a major regional rival. Get a Raiders offer and keys to the entire management office - you go into the NFL with a coach who has a winning track record and at least 2-3 years to implement his system and make playoff runs.
Not saying it's likely but if I played at Michigan and had NFL aspirations as a coach its basically a win-win. And if UM fans get pissy about it, pretty easy to spin the - likely true - story of NIL / Michigan not wanting to do what it takes to keep up with SEC / OSU so no point in staying.

Personally, I think I had class with maybe 3 athletes before starting at Ross and to say that the athletes (FB and BB) were contributors in discussion or group projects would be a very very generous statement. I'm pretty sure they went to less than half the classes anyways

I ran through the Arb yesterday and was amazed at how many groups there were sitting all over the place not even social distancing. Maybe they were all roommates but based on the numbers highly unlikely. The groups were somewhat distanced from each other but I'm guessing the Arb and other public places will soon be closed because of this.
I can also see this order at least helping with situations like this because it gives law enforcement the ability to enforce with meaningful consequences.
Do we actually know definitively how long someone can be spreading COVID while they have it? It sounds like each day you are around your wife your 14 day quarantine clock would restart if we don't know as you are potentially getting re-exposed to it. I haven't seen the 3 day guidance anywhere for being in the clear, could you link that?

USC has a much higher ceiling than PSU - zero chance Warde keeps his job if we don’t get UCLA, OSU has no real in state rival
