I don't see any benefit for them not making the playoffs this year. They don't have a 1st round draft pick, so their draft position isn't a consideration. If there is no benefit to missing the playoffs, I would think that you are always better off making the playoffs, at least giving yourself a chance to win in at all. |

I don't doubt that there are some shady things helping Kentucky recruit, which Calipari's previous schools have gotten in trouble for, but they also have a dream setup for the basketball team. I don't know if you ever seen this video (link) but if I was a 17-19 year old kid looking to spend one year in college before going pro, it would be tough to find a nicer place to do it. |

In my younger days, I would watch a show on G4 called "Attack of the Show" which featured a section called "Break Moments in De-Evolution". Most of the time this was young men around Cody Zeller's age coming up with incredibly creative ways to destroy their manhood by taking direct shots with random objects. I think you can find 1,000s of such videos on youtube, and they don't even do it to win basketball games. Here's a link for your viewing pleasure. |

The LSU offensive and defensive coordinatiors COMBINED salary is $1.7 million for 2013. Mattison makes $750K - $900K and Borges makes $700K for a combined $1.5 million. Really not a big difference. |

I would say usually QB's are the only players whose value to the offense is so great that they are not worth risking on defense, but my old high school recently had a pretty good athlete that played QB and CB, so it's not unheard of, just rare. |

It looks like a practice jersey combined with a sweater vest. Maybe it's just me, but I like the simple look, although I think bolder outline of the letters and numbers would be worth a look. |
